I am a great supporter of home-grown independent brands so I was happy to learn about Satliva and try out some of their offerings. I was in the market to get a new moisturizer so I was thrilled to try the Red Raspberry Face Cream.
Satliva is a brand specializing in Hemp Oil based products (Hemp has a notoriously popular cousin, I am sure you know – Marijuana!) Hemp Oil is known for its naturally preventive and curative qualities. It contains the essential fatty acids (EFA’s) Omega 3, 6 and 9, in the ratio very similar to Human DNA. It also contains 21 amino acids, including 9 essential amino acids, required by the human body.

-Made With Pure Hemp Seed Oil.
-40 gm lasts up to 4 months.
-Offers moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits for your skin.
-Red Raspberry seed oil has anti-aging benefits of improving skin elasticity, while softening and smoothing the look of wrinkles.
-Geranium essential oil was used extensively by Ancient Egyptians for promoting beautiful and radiant skin. It has astringent properties, helps fade scars gradually, is a natural cleanser, ensures toned skin, corrects skin discoloration, reduces acne, and results in glowing skin.
-Adding to this is the amazing protective properties of Mango butter and Jojoba oil.
-Perfect for inhibiting UV damage and stimulating cell repair, it also seals in moisture and great for dry skin. The fragrance of this special blend of handpicked ingredients is a great mood elevator and stress reliever. This cream also heals insect bites and stops itching; use it on itchy or irritated spots for relief.
Hemp seed Oil, Mango Butter, Red Raspberry oil, Geranium essential oil, Jojoba Oil, Carrot seed oil and Tea tree oil.
Raspberry Seed Oil is a super star skin-care ingredient that has always intrigued me and I actively seek products like these which feature this right on top of their ingredient list. Below are the few of many good reasons why it is considered a great skin care ingredient.
-It is said to absorbs UVB and UVC and offers limited but natural protection from UVA.
-It has anti-inflammatory properties due to high content of alpha linolenic acid. (the highest in any fruit seed oil)
-Contains high amount of Vitamin E – an antioxidant. Antioxidants in skin care are important to prevent oxidative damage.
-Said to contain high levels of Phytosterols that help control trans-epidermal water loss, thus keeping skin moisturized and also help with eczema.
-Anti-aging benefits due to content of Ellegic acid– an antioxidant that is claimed to reduced the destruction of collagen and inflammatory response which are both major causes of wrinkles.
The product comes in a relatively simple and straightforward tin can packaging which has a screw type lid. It is plain and I am OK with it because indie brands often don’t have the luxury to spend tonnes on packaging. A product like this which contains ingredients that tend to melt could really do with an additional seal below the lid using a foil / cling film. This would especially help from it melting and leaking during shipping. I say this because by the time this reached me the product had leaked and the sticker on top (among other things) had soaked the oil.
Attributed to the ingredients the product is bound to melt if the temperature increases so its important that it is stored in a cool place. In a cool temperature the product is of a solid consistency and one is expected to scoop out some from the tin. I am not a fan of touching my skin care products and reducing the already low shelf life so I use a spatula and would also recommend this practice to everyone.
As soon as the product comes in contact with the body heat it starts to melt. I prefer to scoop out a little and then rub it between my fingers to completely melt it before applying. Unlike the body butter from the same brand I find this cream needs work to spread. It’s very easy to go overboard, since one feels that the little amount of product is not spreading enough and then end up looking greasy.
It has a strong fruity fragrance mixed which is a tad overwhelming for my preference. The scent lasts for a while and I guess after a while subsided; by then you get used to it so its noticed lesser.
I apply it in the morning before my sunscreen. It absorbs slowly into the skin which is a point of concerns as I am in a mad rush during the mornings. Once absorbed the skin feels hydrated but also slightly greasy. It does feel like a layer sitting on the screen till at least it gets absorbed after sometime. I also have to apply sunscreen on top, so both ends up becoming a little too much too soon! Due to this I have started using it at night.
I spend most of my day in a very dry, cold and centrally air-conditioned office, but despite the initial greasiness the product really helped in maintaining the hydration level through the day.
-Natural Product with a small & straightforward ingredient list.
-Low Shelf Life – i.e contains less or no preservatives.
-Not available easily offline.
-Packaging is prone to leak.
-Lacks slip & feels greasy initially.
If you have been following me you know I greatly appreciate simple and easily understandable ingredient list and in those regards this product is true to the brief. It also features some great ingredient that offer some serious skin care benefits. In short-term this has performed well. I wish in the future the brand tweaks the formula for it to feel less oily and absorb a little quicker.
If you are in the market for a natural face moisturizer I would encourage you to try this, especially if you have dry skin.

I found it very oily and balmy. It comes in a small, circular shaped container the packaging of the product is quite decent. I used it twice but it left my skin so greasy and oily I had to immediately wash it off in order to avoid any breakout. I don't really think I would purchase it as it doesn't suit my skin type at all.
Would not recommend it for people with my skin type.!
Highly disappointed with this product!
This is my first review on Glamrada and I am glad I registered here. Because it has all the honest product reviews with genuine people writing them.
I will be reviewing Satliva Red Raspberry Face Cream today.
The cream comes in a small tin case. It closes tightly, but as the cream contains natural oils, some oil might leak out in summers.
This is the best thing about this cream. It contains completely natural ingredients. So, it can be used by people with sensitive skin too. I have a dry combination skin with some sensitivity. This cream never caused any allergic reaction on my skin.
It contains pure hemp seed oil which has great moisturising and healing properties.
The cream has a whipped consistency. It has a sweet fragrance with a hint of mint. It is a very rich oil based moisturiser, so you need only a small quantity for whole face and neck. It gives a radiant look after application. But too much product can cause oiliness. I would suggest to use this cream only at night. It is too heavy to wear at day time. I found the fragrance of the cream slightly overpowering. Overall, it's a cream made for extremely dry and sensitive skin. Oily skin beauties might wanna stay away from it.
Will I but it again? Yes. In winters, when my skin needs that extra dose of moisture.
Firstly, the smell of the product is super good and secondly, when I used the face cream for a few days, I could feel me skin smoother than it was before. I really love the product and would definitely get this one again!! Highly recommended.
This face cream is really good moisturises and nourishes.
But I find that it is best suited for people with very dry skin!
I have a fairly normal skin and infind it very heavy and little oily on the face.
Maybe, it will be good for the winters.

Well firstly thanks to Glamrada for sending satliva's products which are Natural and chemical free..
Speaking about Red Raspberry Face cream it is freshly made, cold pressed and zero chemicals..
It is made with pure Hemp seed oil which acts as food for the skin.. it has anti ageing benefits, gives instantly radiant skin without greasy look, Helps fade scars , ensures toned skin correcting skin discoloration.. it acts as a natural cleanser which reduces acne .
It has many other essential oils such Red Raspberry oil, geranium essential oil , carrot Seed oil, tea tree oil, jojoba oil, Mango butter..
It plumps tired dry skin, provides long lasting protection balance oily skin, and helps in skin calming..
*Usage: just take a tiny bit and apply dots on all over the face and neck .. gently spread the cream in outwards direction and let your skin absorb it giving a nice glow ..
*All skin types
*Little pricey but worth it
*It will be better if the metallic container packaging is changed as it becomes little inconvenient to unwind it as the cream tends to be more oily during summers.
Satliva Red Raspberry Face cream – Rs.750
This face cream is made for UV protection and Radiant skin.
The ingredient list sounds like a yummy dessert! Hemp seed oil, Mango butter, Raspberry oil, Carrot seed oil and so much more!
As soon as you open the package you can smell a nice fruity yet earthy smell, I think from the raspberry oil. All you need is just a little dot and that’s enough to cover your entire face. Rub it in till it’s absorbed else it can leave your feeling skin oily. I use it before I go out in the sun in the mornings as it acts as a natural sunscreen!
If you haven’t experienced the benefits of Indian Hemp seed oil yet, you can start by exploring Satliva’s range of natural wellness products for bath body and hair. Zero Chemicals. Freshly Made. Natural nutrition! My experience using the satliva products was therapeutic and calming! And I am very impressed that the brand makes pollution free and toxic free products!
Satliva Red Raspberry Face cream:
i used it for 15 days straight, as much as i loved the smell, ingredients and results i hated the oily layer that it creates on the skin. It makes u feel sweaty and hot, so instead of using it as a day cream i replaced it with the night cream and it worked great. Though ingredients are one of the best especially for summers it is simply not possible to apply it in day time in 42+ temperature. Again 20g costs 750/- rupees which puts it in luxury product catagory, and may not be perfect for everytime purchase. i agree that only a pinch of it is enough and spreads beautifully on face and may be this 20g wpuld last for long but when asked will i buy it again my amswer will be no.

I was quite shocked after seeing the price of this face cream, because charging Rs 750 for 20gm of product, was a bit too much for me. And then I used and found out the reason the why. It is a completely organic product and one of its ingredients is pure hemp seed oil which hiked the price a bit. That being said, I needed a really small quantity because it spread quite evenly over my face, leaving the skin thoroughly moisturized and also shiny layer which I guess is because of the oil element in it. I like applying this cream mostly before going to bed, it actually works better than quite a few certified night creams.
•I have been using it daily every since it was sent a fortnight back, I honestly can’t stop reaching for it.
•I only use it at night,in an air conditioned environment.
•This is a very dense balm which when rubbed between palms fingers, forms a thin layer of balm/oil that you then apply to your skin.
•I lightly massage it on my face, neck & use it liberally on my lips & under eye area.
•It doesn’t get fully absorbed into the skin;initially feels extremely greasy but it feels comforting in ac & one is left with a beautiful sheen.
•The smell might be overwhelming for some, but I personally don’t mind it.
•I wake up with a supple healthy looking skin.
•It works great to remove makeup aswell
•A little goes a long way so the lil tub will last you forever.
•The ingredients I assume is why it has such a hefty price tag.
