I recently bought a couple of colours and absolutely love them. Most probably will be buying more colours.
The pros: beautiful colours, great formula, high pigmentation , light weight and long lasting

Great colour payoff!

Brand: Sugar
Range: Matte as hell Crayon Lipstick
Shade: 04 Holly Golightly
Price: Rs.799
Quantity: 2.8 gms

I cannot say enough good things about this formula! It is definitely matte as hell and stays on for a decent amount of time, around 5-6 hours. The crayon is extremely pigmented and creamy, it just glides smoothly on the lips. The packaging is good and you have to sharpen the lipstick(Comes with a free sharpener!). That might be the only con in the packaging that you have to carry along a sharpener if you are travelling with it. The shade range is wonderful and recently expanded to 11 shades and has a good mix of nudes and bolds. The shade I got (04 Holly Golightly) is a wonderful everyday wear pink nude shade. One of my favorite colors and I cannot seem to find a similar shade in any other brand.

Final Verdict:
Will buy again for the quality of crayon, but might try some other shade.

The Best Crayon Lipstick
This is one of my most favourite crayon lipstick of all time. I got the shade SCARLET O’ HARA in my fab bag. I was so excited to try out sugar cosmetics for the first time and since then i have become a huge fan of this matt as hell crayon. This is absolutely LOVE!

These crayon lipstick are completely matt but they do not dry out the lips because they are powdery matt and its application is super smooth and easy. Since it is in the crayon form so obviously the application had to be easy. These lipsticks do transfer but only a little, not like those creme lipsticks which transfer completely.

It stays for good 5-6 hours without a touch up. After 5-6 hours it starts to fade from the middle of the lips and makes your lips look uneven. Consuming oily food will fade it more. And a touch a would be required then.

These mat as hell crayons retail for Rs. 799. But you can get a decent discount of 5-8% if you buy from nykaa during the festive sale.

To an extent the red shade of scarlet o’ hara looks like ruby woo of mac. So i think its a good choice to opt for the sugar one.

I would love to recommend this crayon to each one of you. Since I’m a fan of this lipstick I’m sure each one of you will love it.

The only DISADVANTAGE of this is that it’s packaging involves a sharper and a lot of product get wasted while sharpening it up. I would have loved it even more if it would have come in an a scroll up packaging.

But apart from this disadvantage, there is nothing bad that i can say about it. So my dear beautiful girls, give this one a try and I’m sure you would regret your purchase.

Love you all!

Must Try!

Sugar Matte As Hell Lip Crayon comes in a very cute crayon packaging, with a free sharpener. I have it in the shade "Scarlett O'Hara" which is the perfect red for Indian skin tones. It has a super matte finish and stays for quite long, starts washing off a little from the middle when you drink or eat something! Also, it is transfer proof!

It is absolutely worth the price, but I wish the quantity was a tad more because it finishes up really fast as you have to keep sharpening it from time to time.

Sugar Matte As Hell lip crayon "SCARLETT O'HARA" is a perfect DUPE for the following high-end lipsticks:-
1) MAC Ruby Woo
2) Kylie Cosmetics "Mary Jo"
3) Jeffree Star Cosmetics "Redrum"
4) Kat Von D "Outlaw"
5) Anastasia Beverly Hills "American Doll"
6) Stila "Beso"
7) Huda Beauty "Heartbreaker"
8) Morphe Brushes "Morphe"
9) Too Faced Melted "Lady Balls"
10) Giorgio Armani "Lip Magnet"

Each Sugar Cosmetics Lip Crayon retails for 799/- and I guess it's a steal! The quality & the color feels nothing less than the high-end lipsticks.

This is LOVE

Now I know the markets are flooded with Crayon Lipsticks but you cannot miss this baby in your vanity. Its a must have and I tell you why -
* I have the shade Viola , its my go to colour these days.
* The texture.. oh oh oh my my my wow wow wow... creamy while applying soooo damn smooth but settles to a beautiful Matte finish which is not drying either.
* Excellent Colour pay-off. you just need 2 good swipes to cover your lips.
* if you have pigmented n discoloured lips , dont you worry darling, nothing will be seen through after applying.
* Transfer-proof, simply allow it to set on your lips for 2 minutes after applying. and you can pull it off upto 6-8 hrs.
* It will leave a beautiful stain after fading.
* Formula is something to die for, it is not stretchy or drying at all. it will fill in some cracks on your lips too.
* The shade range is beautiful and all shades will go with Indian skin tone.
* Comes with its own high quality sharpener.
Cons- (only 2)
* It could have been a retractable crayon but its a sharpening one. so some product gets wasted.
* Price is 799 ?.. so its obviously not that affordable.

This is my most favourite lipstick! As the name suggests, it's matte as hell but not at all drying. Feels creamy on application and sets into a complete matte look. The crayon shape makes it easy to apply. No need for a lip liner. It stays for a long time if you don't eat something oily. Fades away uniformly. It's not completely transfer proof, does transfer a little. Only one disadvantage is it's not retractable, comes with a sharpener which results in a little wastage of the product. Very classy black packaging. Easy to carry in purse. Use a creamy or oil-based remover for removing this lipstick. My favourite shades are Scarlett O'Hara which is a tomato red and Cherry Darling which is a cherry red.

Which colour or shade did you buy?

How many hours does the lipstick last?

Finish: Super Matte, Matte, Glossy, Cremesheen, etc

It is transferrable?

Tell us if it is worth the price!

Any dupes?

Does it dry out your lips or get flaky after a while?

Do you like the packaging?
