Extremely patchy, and is very difficult to blend

Cost : USD 12  (INR 835)

Other shades available:  Deep, Medium & Light

I wonder why NYX decided to call this universal, this is definitely not universal and on some deeper Indian skin tones this is not going to work! I got this from Ulta.com since at the time it was not available in India. The stick seems such a good portable option and it claims to conceal, highlight & contour. The funny part about this is that the Contour stick is pretty decent. Slightly oily but goes on evenly and gives a natural finish.

But the highlighter formula is doubly disappointing! It is extremely patchy, and is very difficult to blend. I have tried blending it with a damp sponge, a dry sponge, a brush and with hands but none seem to work. Whatever tool I use the finish is still streaky and irregular. The texture is terrible! It gives a greasy, patchy finish and just doesn't sit well on the face. When both of them are used together one is bound to look oily and I don't mean in a flattering way! If you have oily skin, don't even think about this.

2 in 1 benefit

It comes in stick form, so, we can highlight and contour with only one product. I purchased it from amazon on discount for Rs. 720. As it is cream highlight and contour kind of product it stays for 4-5 hours but we set it with powder contour then it will stay for 7-8 hours on me. Now I had kiss beauty highlight and contour palette but as it is unbranded makeup product I used it and love it at starting but later after 2-3 months my skin started reacting, so, I stopped using it. But I would compare it with L.A girl concealer which I have a dark shade Espresso which I use as a contour and it is really a great product. But if I have too choose between both of them then I would choose them both as both have their own different set of benefits. I use real techniques contour brush or pac mini beauty blender to blend it. It is really very travel friendly.

So this is basically a contour stick where you darken your jaws and wherever you want the shadow part and you highlight whenever the light falls like on ur chin cheek bones and the nose part. It blends easy and it is in a stick so it is also easy to apply .The part of the contour is a brown tone too warm for my taste since it makes that the shade that we realize with him is a little orange and is not natural at all. In this case, the bars end in a rounded shape. I usually apply it where the bone of the cheekbone sinks, at the birth of the hair and in the jaw, to make it optically more oval.
In conclusion, it is a product that I find very practical to use and transport when coming to both products in one. The application and diffusion are fast and we can enhance its effect or result with illuminators and powder bronzers if we want. I'm using it daily and except for the somewhat orange outline of the outline, I think it's worth it.

Recruitment process

This product claims to be an all purpose dual stick for concealing contouring and highlighting with a creamy finish making it easy to blend.
.
My views-:
-I bought this contour-highlight stick in shade WS02 medium/tan, great for beginners looking out for contouring.
-?It has a creamy texture which helps to blend very easily without looking harsh.
-?The package comes with a pictorial on how to use it in just 2-3 easy steps.(Helpful if you are new to contouring).
-?It's travel friendly and easy to carry( 2-in-1 stick)
-?It gives more of a natural finish( which i personally love).
-?If you are looking for a darker and deeper contour you would need to use more of the product and set with some darker shade or powder( A little con)
.
Price- Rs 835 ( easy contour without spending a lot????)
Available- All NYX stores or get it online

NYX Wonder Stick in Medium Shade

I've been using this wonder stick by NYX for quite some time now and I can say the quantity of the product on both sides of the stick is great.
Yes this stick is a dual purpose stick which serves the purpose for highlighting as well as contouring.
Both the sides are covered with transparent plastic caps.
I have this stick in Medium shade and I've been religiously using it for contouring my cheek bones.
I don't use the highlighter side much since it looks more like a concealer.
The consistency and the coverage is just fine. Both the sides have a creamy texture and blends effortlessly.

it's worth it

It is a double stick that on one side has an illuminator and, on the other, product to make the contour. Each one with clear plastic lids that already show some crack of so much use.
Each part contains 4g of product, which is usually the amount that comes in any lipstick. It seems to me enough for the stick to last us a long time even if we use it daily.

The part of the illuminator has a pink beige tone very clear to be able to give points of light in the upper part of the cheekbone, septum and tip of the nose, upper area of the arch of the eyebrow and bow of Cupid. The bars have finished shape in tip, which makes precise application of the product.

The part of the contour is a brown tone too warm for my taste since it makes that the shade that we realize with him is a little orange and is not natural at all.

What kind of contouring kit is it- stick, liquid or powder based?

Where did you but it from and for how much?

How long does it last you for?

You can compare it to your last contouring kit, and tell us which one is better.

Which brush do you use to apply it?

Is it travel friendly?
