Not very happy with this one

I was so excited about the concept of a double eyeliner. The ability to carry felt tip + kohl in one pencil seemed like a boon. Well, at least until I used it. NYX is my favorite brand and all of their products are totally worth, except this one. To be completely honest, I wasn't that happy with this product. It has an equal share of pros and cons. So, it is not the best buy! Read on to know why.
Both the sides are black
Rs 900 for a 2 in 1 kohl + felt tip pen eyeliner
******My experience*******
The eyeliner comes in a very strong packaging which has tight caps.
I will talk about the eyeliner in 2 parts, first being the felt tip. The first time I swatched it, it was impressing. It is deep black, nicely pigmented and having slight glossiness. The texture isn't like ink. It is matte and dries up quickly. But when applied on the eye, the quick drying nature becomes a con. One neat stroke is required to get a fine line and if you mess up and try to layer it, the liner starts flaking and coming off. This can be fixed by filling the gaps with the kohl side.
Coming to the kohl, it is a very soft and creamy jet black kohl. It is very different from the Maybelline and Lakme kohls because the texture seems very rich. It is matte and feels luxurious. As I said it can be used to fill any gaps in the wing. Well, that has cons too. If the felt tip dries within seconds, the kohl is the exact opposite. It doesn't set until blotted and can transfer above the lid. So the kohl can only be used on the waterline.
If you have a habit of going too close to the mirror while applying eyeliner, this might not be your pick. The eyeliner is 15cm+ long which keeps you far from the mirror, which for me is a big con.
The staying power is extremely disappointing. I could hardly make a neat wing with the felt tip. So when I filled it with the kohl, it started transferring above my lid, and my eyeliner was a mess even before I left home.
Another experience i and was when I applied only a thin layer of the kohl on my upper lid. It managed to not smudge for the entire day. But after 6 hours when I rubbed my eyes, the kohl literally FLAKED and complete came off. Never in my life, has my kohl flaked like this!!!!
And this does give panda eyes! Not to forget that is not waterproof.
If something didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you. So I'm quickly listing the pros and cons for you so you can decide whether this product is for you or not.
-Easy to carry
-The cap is tight enough
-Felt tip dries quickly
-Felt tip doesn't smudge
-Kohl is beautiful
-Felt tip requires to be applied in one stroke
-Felt tip leaves a gap between my eyelashes and lid which is very difficult to fill.
-Kohl transfers a lot
-The pen is too long
-Gives panda eyes
-Not waterproof
I don't think I will be purchasing this again. I prefer repurchasing other kajals and eyeliners I have for their price and quality.
