Finally an affordable eyebrow product in India

This product is a little similar to Anastasia brow wiz. But what I ove about this is it has a pencil as well as a powder side. It comes in two shades, brown and grey, which should suit most indian skin tones. THough I'd have liked a larger shade selection, but oh well. Since I am dusky and have really dark eyebrow hair, the greay suits me.
Coming to the product itself, the pencil side is hard and isn't very creamy which is quite good since its a brow product. The tin pencil allows to draw precision lines and if you work in short strokes, the chances of ending up with caterpillar eyebrows will be very less. Anyway, pencil products need some amount of care and precison, and practice. So if you aren't getting desired brow shape with this, practice a little and see if it works. For me, it works perfectly fine.
I use the pencil tip to fill in the places where i have sparse hair, and to outline the shape of my eyebrows. It is important that you keep brushing your eyebrows with a spooly to spread the product evenly. Talking of the powder side, I absolutely love it. The other side of the pencil has a sponge and there is powder in the lid, so everytime you close the lip, the sponge gets loaded with powder. I love the powder side as it helps to fill in the parts where I couldn't fill in with the pencil. Also, I sometimes use just the powder to fill my eyebrows if I'm in a hurry.
At the price of less than 300 rupees, this is a great affordable brow product.
Though, if you have really oily skin, I'd suggest to use a brow pomade, as this might not stay for too long.

I have a love hate relationship with this product. This was the first brow product I used so my expectations were not that high. Initially I loved it when I was using the Grey shade. Since I have black hair, Grey was a good option for me. But after some uses I felt that this product was a bit difficult to blend in and the sponge side of it was fully useless. Whenever I used the sponge tip my eyebrows would look so scary that I would wipe them. But the pencil gets over so soon that You have no option but to use the sponge tip.
After some days I bought the brown shade because I felt that I judged the product too harshly . This one worked better for me but now I don't use the sponge tip anymore.
Over all, great product but my only complain is we get very less quantity of the product so that sucks. And also the shade selection. There are just two shades so our options are limited.
If You are light skinned it would be better to use the brown shade as it looks more natural.
Not my favorite but maybe I would buy it again, because there are no good brow products available in India...

No Spooly

I have strange eye brows that are not full and are very unruly. I need to a spool to keep them looking groomed. I had to invest in a separate spool to use this product, which is fine by me, unless I need to travel because there is an extra item I need to carry in my makeup pouch instead of one product that does it all. This product has a hard wax tip that is not very pigmented, so it is very inconvenient as it requires a while to fill up and shape your eyebrows. The smudger is useless as it makes a mess of my brows, I constantly need to clean around the edges as the smudger disperses the product everywhere.

I have sparse eyebrows which look almost non-existent. So I always have to paint my eyebrows! I used to use a brown/black eyeshadow to fill in my eyebrows. I have also used brown gel eyeliner which worked pretty fine for me. When I bought this product I was definitely very excited. I bought the shade grey which is going to suit most Indian skin tones, the other shade (brown) is very light and I think it will suit people with very fair complexion. This is a double ended pencil that has a retractable pencil on one end and a sponge applicator on the other end which has powder in it's cap so every time you close the cap, the sponge is kind of refilled. The pencil is a bit hard and dry and if you press it , it's going to break. So use it carefully. I also feel that the hardness of the pencil makes it smudge free. However it's not totally smudge proof. Stays on for 5-6 hours if you do not sweat a lot. I draw the edges of my eyebrows with the pencil and then fill in with the sponge applicator. It gives a very natural look. However people with thick eyebrows should avoid this as this is not going to help them. Thick eyebrows should go for the pomade crayon instead.

Shade Brown

This was the first brow pencil I had purchased so I dint have much expectations or set standards for this one. I have very light eyebrows which are almost non existent so I was badly in need of an eye brow pencil. This one from Maybelline is a double sided pencil. One side is the eyebrow pencil and the other side has a sponge with brown colour on it. I found the pencil to be a little dry and hard so it doesn't glide on very easily but you can do with it with little extra effort. I prefer the sponge side to fill in my brows and give a more defined look.

Fashion Brow duo shaper

This was the first Brow product launched by Maybelline in India . I was desperately looking for something that could help me with my thick brows. So I decided to give it a try. I bought the grey one. It is 2 edged pencil with a cap that covers the pencil , and a rotatable round cylindrical cap for the powder end. The powder is kept in the cap, I figured out. The pencil is retractable. Much prone to breakage. I broke it twice , in fact. You've got to be light with the usage. The color, otherwise is good and just perfect- neither too dark, nor too light. The powder is also fine, but getting some more stuff out is pretty tiresome. Closing and opening it all over again. The grey shade suits black eyebrows . I also have one in the brown shade which I won as a prize from Maybelline New York for an eyebrow transformation. It suits brown or lighter eyebrows. Certainly not black. However, the brown powder is pretty useful in giving a blurred look to dark eyebrows. This works really well for sparse eyebrows , thick ones avoid this. I won't buy it again since it's not useful to me, but it's cheap , and totally worth the money!

Maybelline The Fashion Brow Pencil

I have very very light and sparse brows and hence cannot do a day without defining my brows. I bought the one in black shade to try it out. The pencil has dual tips. one is a roll on waxed pencil tip kind and the other one is like a sponge with powder on it. The black shade does go with my skin tone but in the beginning when i used it, it was so not pigmented. I had to keep drawing it again and again till the color came, making my brows look so weird and unnatural. The powder part fades off soon. The pigment gets over soon and then you are left with the pencil part only. After several use the pencil part is easier to use and the pigment is better and slides smoothly. Its just an average product which i am not very sure of buying again. wouldn't recommend it either. would rather try out other brow products. nothing worthy in this to stick with.

Good Eyebrow product

Considering the fact that eyebrow products are not that available in indian market, i will say this is pretty good buy. Its a dual sided product with one side of pencil (roll on) and one side with a powder. They come in 2 shades one is brown and 1 is grey. I took the brown one because I wanted to try a little natural finish but let me tell you the color is not exactly brown little blond types but it definitely gives a natural look to your brows. Price wise its very inexpensive and what i like about it is even if you finish up your pencil you can use the powder part also and do your brows. I do it sometime and use a spoolie to shape it.

Good for beginners

I love this product , it comes in dual sided pencil . I like the fact powder is provided to set the brows . It comes in two shades brown and grey . The pencil is not extremely pigmented therefore it's easier to add strokes without adding loads of product . The packaging is travel friendly too . Highly recommend this product .

Brown shade

Our indian market lacks in good eyebrow products so this product might fill that lack.
Your eyemakeup is incomplete unless you fill your brows.

Maybelline Brow Duo Shaper is available in 2 shades in India: Brown & Grey
The pencil does feel a bit dry but I prefer this texture as creamy eyebrow pencils only stick to the hair and look so stark. The pigmentation is sheer making it perfect for beginners as I know the major issue I always used to face with filling in my brows was going too overboard. I always prefer building it up as I go rather than using a highly pigmented product for my brows.
The pencil is hard which makes it easy to work with and simplifies application. The pencil is used to just outline the eyebrows while filling part is taken care of by the powder and sponge applicator. The powder is soft, velvety, and gives matte finish. The sponge applicator evenly spreads the powder throughout the shape of the brows.
If I talk about the staying power, it stays all day without any fading. It is not waterproof so you have to keep your distance from water otherwise it will all come down on the cheeks. But the good thing is it can be easily removed using regular cleanser, and you do not necessarily require face cleanser.
There are only two things negative
First its not waterproof and second shades available are only 2.
