I liked it

I bought Maybelline Magnum Barbie Mascara for Rs. 399 and found it to be pretty good. I have heard from a lot of people that it is lumpy and doesn't do anything for the eyelashes but that is because a lot of people use it the wrong way. I bought it from Nykaa but I asked an attendant at LifeStyle store to demonstrate it to me as to how to apply it and she did. I then understood how to apply it. I might do a "how to do that" of the mascara on my channel (let me know if you want that). Anyway, I found it good and I am using it.
My verdict:
Lasts: I took it more than a year ago and it still is there. (It depends on the use though, I use it only for parties and special occasions)
Smells: A bit weird. I don't like the smell, hence 4 stars and not 5
Worth the money: Yes
Should you buy or not: Definitely

The Barbie Mascara

I wanted to buy the Colossal Mascara, waterproof one since it was for my farewell party at school ( eyes rain on the day, right? ) . But it ran out of stock, and I got this one. The packaging is true to the name, Barbie style, so this is one is a beautiful piece for your showcase. The product is not really worth the price. Initially, I hated it for the uneven texture and lumps it created, but soon understood that I've been applying it wrong for months. With a tissue, wipe of the mascara on edge and sides of the wand and with minimal product on the wand, apply it on the lashes. This is the only way it comes out good, and there is wastage for that reason ( I believe that's the case with every mascara ) . It kinda curls the lashes and definitely thickens it. But it gets so sturdy that for specs wearing girls like me, it irritates the eye when it touches the lens. It dries out to a weird texture after a few hours. It is pretty much a longing to get this thing off the eyes, and without a makeup remover, it's a headache. You don't get it off in the night and you wake up the next day, there's another headache. 2.5/5 . Won't buy again.

Price is 399. It is quite cheap and affordable.
It has a cute girly pink and yellow packaging.
It has a curvy wand which is made of plastic. The combination of the bristles is ok, not as good as their Falsies, though. This is because there are few odd bristles here and there on the wand. Overall, the applicator works smoothly and covers each and every lash.
The wand looks similar to the Falsies but the formula is quite different. The consistency of this mascara is neither too thick nor runny. It is almost a medium creamy consistency but a little on the thicker side. It glides smoothly on the lashes but after few coats it clumps a little and it dries out quickly on the lashes. So, it needs to be applied very quickly. It doesn’t look patchy after application.
I wore it on my curled lashes however I was really disappointed that it didn’t hold my curls well. My lashes became quite flat after 15-20 minutes. This did define the lashes and made them look more black and volumised.
the mascara is waterproof and stays put for almost an entire day which is pretty great. To remove this mascara, I needed a lot of patience. This does not come off easily. You need to have a good quality makeup remover.
