Pretty good

I have the shade natural beige and I use it more as a highlighter/ contour than a foundation stick cuz it gives a very medium to sheer coverage .... I prefer the liquid Fit Me foundation over this ... this does blend well and gets absorbed into the skin and doesn’t feel dry or crackly but it’s feels cakey under the eye ... also I feel like the “powder core centre “ is very gimmicky and doesn’t really do much. But it’s a good product!

An Amazing Stick Foundation

Maybelline’s Fit Me Shine Free Foundation Stick has an anti-shine core with ultra-lightweight powders built in to instantly dissolve oil. The gel stick formula goes on creamy, blends easily, and transforms to a matte powder finish.

BENEFITS-
• Gel stick foundation provides tailor-made mattifying coverage.
• Goes on creamy and transforms to a matte powder finish.
• Ultra-lightweight powders in the anti-shine core instantly dissolve excess oil.

APPLICATION-
Apply foundation stick onto skin and blend with fingertips, sponge or a brush.

INGREDIENTS-
No ingredients list mentioned on the product so I got from their official website.
Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Polyethylene, Phenyl Trimethicone, Nylon-12, Diisostearyl Malate, Ozokerite, Polyvinyl Laurate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Caprylyl Glycol, Propylene Carbonate, Calcium Carbonate, Zinc PCA, Acrylates Copolymer. May Contain: CI 77891 / Titanium Dioxide, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 / Iron Oxides, Mica.

SHADES AVAILABLE-
110 Porcelain
220 Natural Beige
230 Buff Beige
235 Pure Beige
330 Stick Toffee

PRICE-
It retails for Rs.550 for 9 grams of the product.

PACKAGING-
The product comes in a roll-on black tube with transparent cover. It’s a very nice and sturdy packaging. It can be easily carried around in your handbag without worrying. Especially for ladies like me with dry skin, this will be really helpful as we can do touch-ups on the go now. Considering powder only makes our skin drier.
The foundation has two products in the form of concentric circles. The inner core is the anti-shine powder core while the outer one is the foundation. This makes it different from other foundation sticks available in market.

TEXTURE-
The texture is very similar to Lakmé 9 to 5 Weightless Mousse Foundation. It’s very light on skin and makes it feather soft. I really like the way my skin felt after its application. The product blends very easily and effortlessly. I tried half face with a makeup sponge and other half with a stippling brush and both sides blended seamlessly.

COVERAGE-
Coverage of this foundation is light to medium only. Though I feel this will work great with a concealer or as an everyday foundation. This product is meant for combination skin as well as claims to be shine free. Hence, I tried to use it without setting with a powder. In fact, I am quite happy with the result as it neither made my skin dry nor oily.

STAYING POWER-
At the time of writing this review, I am still wearing the foundation. I wore it at about 1 pm and its 7 pm now, and the product is still on. Though I think ladies with oily skin will need to give it a touch up in between or may not last this long.
I did not have high hopes with this product as I have dry skin type. But I am quite happy with the results, especially now that I can do touch-ups wherever I want.
Also, I am not very sure why Maybelline launches only limited shades for each product in India. The range has a total of eight shades while only five are launched in India. Overall, I will say the product is worth it and a must have for all beauty junkies looking for everyday medium coverage foundation.

PROS of Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation-
1. Sturdy packaging
2. Stick form of foundation is very travel friendly
3. Easily blendable
4. Doesn’t make the skin too dry or oily
5. Very light weight on skin
6. Lasts for about 6 hours without touch up on dry skin
7. Affordable
8. Can be used just with fingers also, like we blend moisturiser

CONS of Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation-
1. Only limited number of shades launched in India
2. The product will get over quickly compared to a liquid foundation
3. Coverage is not very great

Will I buy Again?
Absolutely Yes. After a long time I have found a foundation to do justice to my skin without making it too dry or oily. For everyday use, this is a great product.

SUGGESTIONS-
I would suggest setting it with a powder for oily skinned ladies. Also, if you have spots or blemishes on skin, use a concealer before or after the foundation as this won’t give you much coverage.

Best foundation stick at this price!

I'm totally crushing over this foundation stick. Its smooth and easy to use and very blendable,it gives a matte finish and there's no cumbersome brushes or sponges involved. Its kindof oil based but doesn't seem very oily,it stays on for a good amount of time and if you set it with powder you can survive a whole day.

Pros
1) travel friendly pack
2) no cumbersome brushes and sponges needed
3) easy to blend
4) available in lots of shades, suited to Indian skin tone
5)does not look cakey, stays put for long
6) gives great coverage

Cons:
None at all.

Shade: 235

I am NC42 in MAC studiofix powder compact (for reference).

This shade is not an ideal match for me but it somehow looks okay on my skin. This foundation oxidizes a little hence the shade will become slightly darker after some time of application.

It is a foundation stick with an anti shine powder core which seems siliconey to me. It is super easy and fun to apply. I draw some random lines on my face and blend it out with fingers. It works best with fingers (saying this after having tried beauty blender and brush) and blends in super quick.

It stays whole day long but it doesn't control oil for long. After 2-3 hours my face turns oily so a touch of compact/loose powder is necessary. Other than that, I love this and use it for my office wear.

Recommended to normal to oily skin, it might accentuate dry patches for dry skinned beauties.

Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Balance Stick Foundation

I love this product! It is everything you want in a makeup bag. I use this to contour my face. The price is also low compared to other products. The product is matte, but blends/melts in to your skin very easily and beautifully. I apply this with a beauty blender. If you are into contouring this is a great one. It does NOT last all day and the texture suffers if you have oily skin type. The pigmentation of this product is good. Do try it out if your are found of countouring your face cuts . :) :) :) :) : )

Amazing!!

This is one of the new product in the market. Foundation sticks were available in the market but they were from high end brands and quite expensive. This launch from maybelline is a total game changer. Now everyone can use the stick foundation. The packaging is totally awesome and travel friendly. The roll on stick is not messy at all. It gives a decent medium coverage. The texture is creamy and not cakey. Its good for people with oily skin like me. The price is INR 550 which makes it in budget and you get decent amount of product as well. I find it totally worth. I did use a primer and a setting powder. And it lasted for good 8-9 hours in humid weather.

Nice

Really like this product from Maybelline. Provides decent coverage and is great for on the go use. Just apply, blend with your fingers and you are set! I have oily skin, and although it didnt break me out, it definitely didnt control the oil either ( as it claims ). Its good as a budget buy!

Good for oily skin

This is a fairly new foundation from maybelline and as usual, maybelline did not go wrong with the formula! I love the packaging of this foundation. its so easy to use and even travel with. It is a rotating stick packaging which is so convenient for most of us. I make multiple strokes on my face and then just blend using my fingers. You could use a brush too but I just find it easier with my fingers. it has medium coverage but it can be built. However, I like to just it once for. more natural look. I do feel the need to set it since my skin is quite oily so I use the maybelline fit me compact over this. It keeps the foundation in place for much much longer. I have not got any breakouts after using this yet and it has been a month I guess (so glad to find something that doesn't break me out). I guess it retails at 550 but I got it for 500 rs. It is totally worth it and if you have oily skin, then you will love this one.
