I used Maybelline colossal kohl in black as a regular kajal some time back and since I already have a favourite kajal from Lakmé Eyeconic, I had similar hopes for this one.
However, it is not the blackest kajal and doesn't glide as smoothly on the water line and it just gave me a hard time and made me frustrated.
I've heard a lot of people still talking about Maybelline colossal kohl like it is the best kajal, but in application as well as in the final appearance, there are much better products in the market. So it's not my fav, nor do I recommend it to anyone.

I was totally interested in buying colour shades of this kohl, which is why I brought the torqouise and crushed emerald green shades of the kohl. Needless to say, these easily last for 5-7 hours in a go, without smudging or needing re application. for the price at which it is available, I am sure that all users will find their value for money with these kohls. they come in a roll up stick format which makes it very easy to use and apply, without making any mistakes. If you are a first timer at colour kohl, then I would surely suggest you to go for these.
Maybelline collosal kohls are fevorite from the day it came into the market, I love all the kohls of maybelline all colours are my fevorite Shades available in collosal are 1. collosal kohl terquoise 2. collosal kohl jewelled eye 3. collosal kohl crushed emerald 4.collosal kohl smoked silver all are so good and rich in colour. It comes in same yellow coloured cover just like normal black kohl by maybelline, which is very sturdy and easy to to hold It claims to consist of nourishing inggredients and vitamin E in it. last for around 8 hours very smooth to apply It costs 250 INR for 0.35 g (very reasonable price ) easily available in market and online as well.
affordable kajal with such an amazing formulation. highly pigmented and pure black color. stays for a good 8 hours.
Maybelline Colossal Kohl had come up with the color kohls that have been in trend amongst college bees. Apart from the basic black kohl I like wearing browns/coppers/plums midnight blues from Avon cosmetics. I have SMOKED SILVER shade from Maybelline Colossal Kohl, its of gray shade (n I love it). It has good stay with minimal smudging at some point.
Texture: The kajal has creamy texture so it gives smooth application. I the Colossal Kohl to even create smoky eyed look.
Shade : Smoked silver – not much at silver as it is more of gray toned ,slightly light on pigmentation.
maybelline colossal kohl has many other shades in the range : Crushed Emerald(emerald green ), Jeweled Jade(teal blue).
Packaging: The Maybelline Colossal Kohl comes in yellow colored retractable pencil packaging just like other Maybelline liners.
Price : I bought my Colossal Kohl stick @ 220/- INR from nearby market.
Maybe I was bored with the regular black lined eyes and wanted to try some color on! That is when I picked up the maybelline kohl in the shade turquoise. It comes in a few more shades but i picked this one up since I wanted to try blue and green liners on my eyes, and this one looked like something in between!
Price: 249 INR for 0.35 g
The product comes in a convenient retractable pencil form and glides on smoothly to give a nice teal color. The color is not at all prominent on my waterline but shows up really well when I use it as an eyeliner. It instantly adds a pop of color to my eyes and gives them a break from the monotonous black lining. It does not move or smudge on my upper lid for upto 8 hours which is a pretty good wear time. Overall, I like using the product for a change but it is not the best formula since it does not work on the waterline. I might buy it again, but in some other shade!
