Natural Finish but very evident Flashback

Beautiful matte finish with some luminosity. I would not recommend it for setting makeup for functions where a lot of photographs will be taken as the flashback is very evident. I have used this product on a CC cream or a Foundation as it does not have much coverage on its own. The packaging is tricky as the sponge is in a different compartment of the compact along with the mirror. The product is beautiful so you do not mind the inconvenience of the mirror on the product. I did not use the sponge much as it collected too much product and deposited in one place, making it very hard to blend. The product works beautifully with a brush.

Ahh the LOréal Mat Magique. It's awesome. Applying a foundation and then applying it or simply applying it is entirely on one's personal choice and skin type
I applied it on top of BB Cream with light strokes of a brush on my face and neck area. It gives a cool neat finish and even toned coverage. It's extremely useful when on a trip. Before stepping out into the scorching heat, a light touch-up of few strokes with the brush acts as a nice protector from the sun. Once back into the car if your sweating heavily or been to a dusty place, can wipe your face lightly, remember not to rub it, and after your skin dries apply few strokes with the brush. It last long. I usually apply few strokes specially on my forehead area as it gets tanned badly. Packaging is good and attractive. Price is a consideration for the Macro Consumer Segment in India. Most buy online during sales. Otherwise settle for Indian brands.
A tip for all the users and prospective users: online shopping is great as long as you know exactly what you want and which shade. The best way to be sure for first time users is to go to a shop or outlet do the patch test and note the shade code book online. Or just pick across the counter if price is not a consideration for you. All the best to all the lovely ladies out their, enjoy your trips and parties to the fullest.

Best compact

There are alot of compacts available out there in the market there are some which are affordable but not good and expensive also not that good but there are some like loreal matte magique which works wonder like this works for oily and dry skin tones this has medium pigment which is best over foundation this makes concealer set on place all day and at the same time it gives best finish and doesnt make base look cakey or something but flawless also this has the cutest packaging of pink colour which is soo cute to travel with also it is super affordable.

My Holy Grail

This compact is my all time favourite. I never used any other compact after I started using it. I own the shade Golden Amber which is the darkest shade of the range. This product can be used in multiple ways like you can dampen the sponge provided and use it as a foundation. it can also be used to set the foundation. What I love most about this compact is how it mattifies my oily skin. this thing works wonders for oily skin as it can soak up oil from the face like magic which is a major thumb up for me. whenever I don't want to apply foundation I use it as a base and I am all ready to go. It has medium coverage which is okay for me. I am not a big fan of the packaging though as I like it when mirror lies in the top of the compact. I would have much preferred if they had more darker shades available as the shade I am using is a little bit lighter than my skin tone. So, I need to be very careful whenever I am applying this on my face as I don't want to end up whitewashed. Oher than this I superloved this product and will buy it once it gets over.

Best Compact Powder

I'm in the shade N6 Nude Honey, which is perfect for my skin tone. The compact is finely mild, and provides good coverage. For the job that it does, it is quite affordable. You can compare this with really high end powder compacts. I absolute relish having this in my collection, its my go to product because even if you are not wearing heaving makeup it gives good coverage and my face looks fresher. It gives matte finish which is really like for summer months, It sets and locks the base well without making it look cakey or heavy. It doesnt even look too powdery or ashy you can skin set your makeup with makeup setting spray and your makeup is not going any where.
It has around 6 shades so it becomes easier for most skin tones to find their match.

Shade: N6

This is the second lightest shade in the range. A decent match for my NC42 skintone. Coverage wise it provides slightly more than sheer coverage when used alone. It also controls oil production and hence keeps the face fresh and oil free for a long time. I sometimes just apply a primer and this compact to my office as it feels light yet evens out my skin. It also has SPF which is an added bonus. The packaging is very chic and sturdy. Dry skinned beauties might find this a bit drying. Recommended for combination to oily skinned people. Go for it if you find your match!!

Best foundation for oily skin

Best foundation I've ever used. The loreal foundation is one of the best foundation for oily skin girls. it's super matte and long lasting. This foundation retails for 525 RS and I'm in the shade G5 which is a perfect match for me. This foundation has volcanic complex which controls oil. I really love this foundation and already have repurchased it. it has a medium to buildable coverage. I won't suggest this foundation for dry skin people but if u have oily to combination the this is a must buy.
Overall review:
Skin type-oily to combination skin
Coverage- medium to full
Texture- liquid foundation
Finish- matte finish
Staying power- 7-10 hrs
Rating- 4.7/5

worth buying

The product comes is round in shape with a clear plastic lid.
It has two compartments, one with the powder and the lower section
contains the sponge puff with a good sized mirror.
The puff is good enough for a touch up but I prefer applying the product with a powder brush, it gives me more soft and natural look.
Nevertheless the packaging is very classy, travel friendly pretty and attractive.

The texture is silky and smooth.
The texture is not too powdery and the skin adapts it well on application.
It has an almost satin like finish which applies so well onto the skin.
It blends perfectly into the skin and it gives very smooth coverage to my skin.
It does not settle down into fine lines and gives a soft matte but not a flat finish.

It doesn’t give a very heavy coverage, but it is good enough for daily wear.
They work well as setting powders but the coverage can be built up which is pretty good for an everyday no makeup look.
Its really good for everyday use and I’ve been using it a lot since the day I got these.

Staying Power

It claims that it keeps the skin shine free all day.
It stays put for a good 4-5 hours.
On average, I can go on without retouching for 5 hours and still it looks okay.
