It’s been a week since I have started using so it’s kinda like first impressions. Currently my skin is dry ,I prefer a dewy look and truly have had a difficult time finding a good setting powder which doesn’t leave my skin looking cakey. And this has come the closest I’ve found to getting that natural finish .I use it all over my face concentrating more powder under my eyes and to set concealer and it stops any creasing or smudging.Totally enjoying the way it has transformed my makeup look.I find this is good even in winter without much fuzz but it’s a bit steep however I do like how much product you get .
It sets my foundation on my t-zone perfectly. Keeps oil away and adds a little extra coverage (definitely not as translucent as I thought it would be, but I'm actually kind of happy about that, tbh). It cleans up my contour SO nicely, leaving my lines more defined. It also is the only powder that stops foundation from settling into my fine lines! I have smile lines and a wrinkle straight across my forehead, and this stuff keeps it from gunking up. So awesome!
Cons: I can't use it under my eyes, because it's so drying. I have to use a separate powder to set my under- eye concealer. I also can't use it to set my foundation all over my face because it does look a tad powdery.
Price: it's expensive. But for my personal needs, it's worth it.
Packaging: It's good. A jar with a sifter that you can shake into a twist off lid. Some powders in this type of packaging are impossible to dispense but this one comes out easily.
Tips: I definitely recommend using a setting spray with this powder to make the finish look more natural. Try to just use this on your oily areas because it can be quite drying.
i have a really oily face and this powder does wonders. i swear by it.... just love it too bits. by far the best loose power. i love it for baking under the eyes and whole face. my face becomes so soft and flawless after this. It is slightly pricy but the product is really highend . The best dupe for this is NYX translucent powder or ben nye loose powder.

This powder has literally changed the way i think of highlighting and baking. I always felt highlighting and baking wasn't for my skin type because all the other loose powders i had used before this one would make my skin super flaky and dry. This one however gives that perfect highlighted effect without overdrying my skin. I use my favourite Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer (make a triangle under my eye) and then use a slightly wet sponge to apply the laura Mercier powder. I do not pack on too much product - please dont do that if you have dry skin like me. Then i let it set for 5-10 minutes while i do the remaining makeup. After that i use any fluffy brush to dust off the excess. It gives such a flawless airbrushed effect. It also photographs beautifully and there is no white cast in flash light. If you have an oily skin you can just leave it like that i like to spray some MAC fix plus to add some glow back to the face. Cant think of any dupes for this - I guess it was a bit pricey but the results make it absolutely worth every penny! This is a must have product and it will make baking a cakewalk even for beginners. Highly recommend.
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder(3.5 gm)
This translucent powder is one of the most raved products of 2016.It is used by almost every youtuber/blogger. I also joined the bandwagon of it .The powder makes baking a child’s play .I use this under my eyes with a damp beauty blender ,under my contour .This gives my skin a soft air-brushed look. I dust it off using the Real techniques face brush. The powder is a boon for me and makes my Baking game strong.
