Lakme launched their lip balms which comes in a tube form.
Packaging - it looks good, normally like my himalaya lip balm.
Shade i have - pink
Mrp - 200
Review - starting with its review i must say that it is a little pricy to me if i compare it with maybellene. I have purchased it to try after looking at the shade. Its consistency is think and nice. It definitely gets transfered when you eat something or when you apply it for a longer time. It gives your lips a glossy pinkish look and make your lips shiny. I like its formula but it doesn't make my lips smooth like maybellene does. I have purchased it for once and i have discontinued it. Lakme is a good brand and i look forward to see an updated version of this lip gloss.

I have this lip gloss in the shade Strawberry.
This lip gloss is nice and easy to apply.
It makes your lips nice ,soft , glossy and ready to go.
You can use it anywhere at anytime. Also smells like strawberry.
It has a rich and thick formula which is moisturising but not sticky .
It comes in a transparent tube that's why you can see how much product is left for use.
But the only con is it is bit difficult to apply in cupid's bow and corners of the lips.
Product costs 200 bucks, and it worth the price.

The lip gloss comes in a transparent tube with a slant tip, secured by a cap. The cap screws well on the tube and this makes the tube travel friendly. You can also use it over a matte lipstick for a glossy shine or to tone down very bright lipsticks. The slant applicator also helps to control the amount of gloss. The Lip Gloss is also moisturizing, which makes your lips feel soft and supple. Lakmé is one of India’s leading color cosmetic brands offering a wide range of high-end, world-class color cosmetics and skincare products. Lakmé has a vast product range specially crafted by experts for the Indian skin.

I had this lip gloss in the shade Strawberry. I loved the smell which was very tempting but the gloss was a little too thick in texture which would feel heavy when applied. It kept the lips moisturized for 1-2 hours with a shine. The lips felt smooth and supple after applying it. It also gives a tinge of color.

Lakme Lip Gloss..... I had expected more from it. It has led me down badly.
I got the nude shade once again to compare it with the Maybelline clone.
Well it is too sticky once again. Lips feel too heavy and I ended up keep my lips apart as it was a very uncomfortable feeling.
Stays for as long as you don't eat it up. Or do not eat or drink anything. Easily transferable. It's so sticky even if you wipe it off it's greasy effect stays. So in a way it's a good moisturiser instead of gloss.
Prince is okay, easily available, travel friendly.
Packageging - Second let down and the most dangerous one. It tends to crack from the neck and you might as well end up with all the gloss in your hand. If you don't and are unaware of the crack it will spill off into your pocket or bag wherever you have kept it. So it is travel friendly as long as it has not got any cracks. My friends faced the same problem.
If you have not finished it yet and summers have come better keep it in the refrigerator for few hours daily. Or else the oil ratio is so high it liquidises and flows freely.
Lakme as a brand is something I trust a lot and is trusted by others too for being not only an Indian brand but for being on the dresser of every household for generations, it would be nice if the company takes note of it and improves on the plastic quality and the greasiness.
Dupes well Maybelline has an exact product with the same back draws. Nothing is different in either except for the Brand name.
I have discontinued both and am not recommending either Maybelline or Lakme for this product to anyone.
Tip- If you do not want to let it go wasted after realising your bad buy, apply it as a top coat to your Matt finish Lipstick during the winters and finish it off.
Only 3 stars from my end :(
Lastly despite all the flaws it is one of the fast selling products and most of the time is out of stock online and in malls. So Lakme please do improve on the overall quality of the product.
Like other Lakme products, this one too, is an age old product.
I'm reviewing the shade bubblegum. The shade is a light mauve pink.
Being a gloss, it stays decently for more than 2 hours without meals and does transfer. Keeps lips moist. The smell is a bit bothering for me. Nothing else to complain at a price of Rs 200 for an affordable and easily available product!
It comes in a tiny squeezy tube.
Worth the price.
Must try for college girls and beginners.
Good to pair up with smokey eye for a polished look.
Recommended! Must have at least one in your vanity.

The lip gloss comes in a transparent tube with a slant tip, secured by a cap. The cap screws well on the tube and this makes the tube travel friendly. The shade looks reddish pink in tube but comes out quite sheer when applied. If i try to build up colour by applying more of the gloss, it kind of feels heavy. It is thick and sticky, but not very sticky. I use it over my matte lipsticks for a glossy shine or to tone down very bright lipsticks. The colour does not stay much on my lips and vanishes after about an hour. If I have a meal, the colour vanishes completely. Even after the colour disappears, the gloss leaves a glossy shine which stays for another 1-2 hours. It is glossy but does not have any shimmer. It has a sugary kind of sweet fragrance smells of strawberries. Can’t say about the taste because I never lick my lip glosses.
The best part about this gloss is that it is very moisturising. My lips feel soft and supple for 3-4 hours, even after this gloss vanishes. My lips turn very dry in winters and this lip gloss is my saviour. I apply this lip gloss only or use it with a lipstick and I am good to go.
The tube is transparent and I can see how much gloss is left. The Slant applicator gives better control over quantity but it’s a bit difficult to use it on the cupid’s bow and corners of lips.

The lip gloss is nice and easy to apply. As it comes in a lip-balm type tube, you can use it anywhere, without much need of a mirror. It Makes your lips smooth and soft. It also gives your lips a beautiful Shine and tint. It is transparent and it gets good fragrance. It is a Little highly priced for a transparent gloss. The Staying power is Not really great but okay for this price. The texture of this product is not liquid but thick gel like. It's really sticky on your lips. Still its Very moisturizing. Do try if you girls ok with a kinda sticky lip gloss..!

This is very old Lakmé product that I can't remember seeing since my college days .I had this lip gloss in the shade Strawberry and it was a very pretty peachy pink kind of colour with very sweet strawberry like smell which I used to enjoy so much. This texture of this lip gloss is very moisturising and slightly tacky and thick but not uncomfortably so. It had a very poor staying power being very creamy (1-2 hours) on my lips but even after it used to fade my lips used to remain mosturised. It I said very affordable too even now and I recommend it for school and college going girls.
