It is good to use and specially for beginners it is awsome .

Lakme Absolute Mousse Foundation is of a very unique consistency! It has a mousse texture which blends seamlessly into your skin.
1)Coverage is very sheer! Almost works like a light BB cream.
2) Mousse Texture blends like a dream.
3) I love the packaging. It's small and cute and extremely travel friendly. It's my go to foundation when travelling.
4) Good enough for everyday day time use. But the coverage isn't enough for night time events and functions. It also gives a little flashback which looks weird in flash photography.
5) Lasts for 3-4 hours without primer or setting powder/spray. With a good compact it lasts much longer.
6) Blends best with fingers. Totally fades out with beauty blender or brush blending.
7)Not very affordable+Sheer coverage+Gives flashback! You can skip this one.

This mousse to powder formula delivers a feather light finish giving you breathable natural skin. While its weightless formulation hides pores, fine lines and uneven skin tone to leave skin peachy soft all thorough the day. With SPF 8, lasts up to 16 hours.
There are 6 shades available in this range.
* Almond Honey
* Rose Fair
* Golden Light
* Lakfnd Beghony
* Lakfnd Ivory Fair
* Lakfnd Gdnmed
It is priced at INR 750, for 25 gm of product.
CUTE is the word !! The packaging of this mousse is so winsome and has been very artfully done. I found it really appealing in this round, ball-like shape with steel/silver finish lid and grey-coloured lower compartment which holds the product.
The mousse has this very interesting formula. When you touch it feels somewhat creamy, umm, also like somewhat slippery, slimey (not in a bad sense ), rubber-ish thing.
I just dot it all over my face and this blends into my skin seriously in no time, I guess my face cream takes more time to seep in/blend in compared to this.
It clears out my face on application, so about the coverage, I would say it is definitely light-medium coverage foundation. The mousse is lightweight, does look natural on my skin and is weightless/doesn’t feel heavy at all . The coverage is just slightly more than my tinted moisturiser. This can be a good product for you if you have slight imperfections. This does not provide much coverage to dark spots, so I would suggest you use a concealer over this.
This dries to a matte finish and will make an excellent product for oily-skinned beauties. I have combination skin which is more on the drier side as winters are coming in, so I apply my moisturiser liberally before this. I do notice a few dry patches, but nothing which my La Roche Posay thermal water spray cannot take care of.
I prefer not to set it with a loose powder, as it already dries to matte, powdery finish. So, I would suggest this product has been created keeping oily skin only in mind. Dry-skinned beauties should check the liquid foundation in this range. Also, I have sensitive skin, but I had no issues post using this.
Coming to the “16 hours” claim. The foundation looked good and fresh on me when I tested it outdoors, for about 3-4 hours only. I also, tested this indoors, inside my house, (@ low temperature because of winters here ) and it stayed well on me for some 5-6 hours. Like, it won’t disappear completely, but the freshness that it gives on first hour of application, isn’t there. So, if you are wearing this and you are outdoors, you will need touch ups.
I have described about the packaging above, so I would skip that here. It is undoubtedly attractive, but I personally, never like jar type packaging, be it skin care or cosmetics.
The major turn off for me about this product is its- fragrance!
Apart from the coverage, fragrance (-) points, I would definitely suggest this as a good daily wear foundation for oily-skinned beauties.
PROS of Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse:
* Lightweight, soft formula.
* Blends amazingly within seconds without much effort.
* Gives light- medium coverage.
* Suits oily skin well.
* I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, but it did not break me out.
* Attractive packaging.
* Lakme products are available easily throughout India.
CONS of Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse:
* The 16-hour claim is not true at all. The staying power is about 5-6 hours only.
* If you need a lot of coverage, you may not like this.
* Has strong (even though not bad) fragrance.
* Dry-skinned beauties may not like it or will have to moisturise a lot before applying this.
* The 750 rupees price tag for a light coverage foundation may seem exorbitant to some.

Been using this mousse since last 2 years and it blends like a dream. It gives medium-full coverage and doesnt make your face look cakey at all, it settles in a powdery soft finish. Works like magic for any ocassion!

Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse Okay
Lakme Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse gives a Medium Coverage. If you expect it to cover your scars, acne or blackheads, well definitely it is not for these purposes. You have to use a concealer first.
Looking at it first it looks like pudding. A smooth paste.
I applied it with my fingers as applying it with a sponge resulted in wastage. I tried mixing a drop or two of water and test if the sponge worked or not but the result was same. Hence have used my fingers only to apply it evenly on my face and neck area.
It gives a rich look. A velvety finish. I thought since I sweat it is giving this look and tried on my mother, grandma, sister and few of my friends. The result was same and all have different skin types.
It's packaging is awesome and looks very niche. Comes in an ovalish grey jar. Not sure if made of fibre or metal. It has a glossy look and shine. Becareful while applying as it might slip off because of the outer body.
While travelling it is okay to carry however because of it's shape it occupies more space.
Many will find this costly for the amount of quantity. However looking at it's performance it is worth the price.
It lasted ne the entire function. It's lasting power totally depends upon the other products being used along with it, like the primer, concealer, compact etc.
I applied my all time favourite Lakme compressed compact along with it. And I just needed a touch up with the compact brush once. If sweating chances are that the lines will start forming. I used it mostly on days when the sun was not in sight and the weather was cool and breezy.
It is easily available in the market and on various online stores.
I did not have any allergic reactions to it. However I have stopped using it as I have moved on to Maybelline now. In future I might go for it again. However it is a good product and I will recommend it to others as a neutral blogger. Whether it suits or not is something that can only be said after using the product.
Hope it suits you well if trying for the first time. If you found this review helpful please do press the like and follow option :)
Since I discontinued it's use and a little fidgety while travelling, I am giving it a 4 out of 5 otherwise a good product.

This product is Quite easily available in all Lakme counters as well as beauty stores. The staying power is also very good. Its suitable for All skin types. It has Light feathery texture which feels really good. It Blends well on the skin. It minimizes the appearance of fine line and pores on face. It is great to control oil on face. This foundation stays on my skin for a good 5 hours maximum and then it starts fading from the place where I generally get oily that’s my t-zone area. It has a really Attractive packaging. Overall, I do like this foundation for everyday basis because it feels very light on skin and lasts long.

I love the packaging it's cute and classy, steel finish lid and grey color lower base. It's very creamy and light to medium coverage but doesn't hides your marks or acne and can be applied to face daily. This product has rubbery texture and blends in no time. Oily skin beauties are going to love it. For me it lasted for 2 to 3 hours. Fragrance is a big turn off. It's not suitable for dry skin. Kindly apply this product with fingers it blends well. Do not set this foundation mousse with loose powder. I hope you find this helpful.
