I bought this lip liner in the shade Red Alert which is a cool toned red color. It's neither too bright nor too dark but just the perfect balance of both. It is highly pigmented, very smooth, gives an excellent color pay off. No smudging, bleeding, feathering or fading issue exists with this one. It's so creamy that it can be worn itself too. It gives a matte finish, awesome coverage and has great lasting power. As a lip liner it stays for about 7-8 hours and if used as a lip color it goes for around 4-5 hours. I team it up with LAKMÉ 9 to 5 Creaseless Matte Lip Color in the shade Red Coat (MR1). It increases the staying power of my lipstick which otherwise tends to bleed after 2-3 hours. It comes in a standard wooden pencil packaging with a transparent cap which frequently needs to be sharpened. It doesn't break while sharpening but the product definitely gets wasted each time. Everything about this lip pencil is good except the price. Rs.400 for just 1.14 gms and that too for a lip pencil, I think it's way too much. Price must be definitely dropped and more shades must be added. All in all it's a great product and one should have it anyway!

Lakme 9 to 5 lip liner is the best option for office. It is sharpen like a pencil which makes it easy to hold. A very generic structure. They have really worried on the liner here are they say. The shades are perfect for the office environment I would recommend it for any formal event. The colors are surely going to catch rhe eyes of the people. The best par to me is the long lasting formula.

A disadvantage would be is on a costlier side. If you want you can invest in it.

I bought the shade red alert for 340/- and found it a little bit expensive. It has a long-lasting formula and excellent color pay-off. The best thing is it is available in a variety of shades from where you can choose from. It gives a precise definition for lips and cupid's bow. I used it before applying lipstick and it worked well.
This lip liner comes in a pencil form that needs to be sharpened once the tip becomes flat. The bottom end of the liner is color coded, so is of the same color as the tip itself. The front is covered with a transparent plastic cap that seems fragile. I have used such pencils before, and they need to be dealt/stored with care. You cannot just allow them to find a place for themselves in vanity boxes. They need to be properly placed for the sake of keeping it intact.
It has creamy texture, which means it easily glides on to the lips without any crumbling. This beige pink shade is exactly what I had been looking for. It has slight hint of pink in it but it is quite subtle and comes super natural on my lips.
totally love this shade and wear it often. Because of the neutrality, it can be worn in various ways. I wear it alone (without any lipstick or lip gloss), and it does not make my lips look or feel dry. I know it sounds absurd but trust me it really shows up well. The only thing I take care of while applying it alone is to exfoliate my lips. After exfoliation, it glides even better and gives them a natural look.

Lakme 9-5 lipliners are great , infact one of my favourite lipliners as they are creamy pigmented and long lasting . I have the shade red alert which is a true red color lip liner and brick rose which is perfect nude lip liner . The fact that they are quite creamy can makes it little difficult to sharp nonetheless it's amazing pigmentation and softness is quite forgiving . Love it

This shade is best described as very light brick red colour with light brown undertones. The texture of this lip liner was slightly better than the Beige pink liner i had bought from the same brand. It did not tug or pull while application but again the wear time of this lip liner was poor not withstanding more than 3-4 hours. Also it did not help the lipstick or the lipgloss to last longer than they do. This lip liner would go very well with the darker nude brown lipsticks or even with lighter lipsticks to create an ombre effect. Again a good colour marred by poor staying power.

The shade beige pink is neutral light mauvey pink with strong brown undertones. The texture of this lip liner is not very soft, still it is manageable but tends to tug and pull if you have dry lips. Also it can cling to dry patches on your lips.Colour is beautiful but what it lacks is the staying power which is maximum 2-3 hours after which fades away fast. Also it is not very helpful in increasing the longevity of the lipstick or lipgloss (i usually use nude lipsticks with this ) above it ,so the whole purpose of using it as a lip liner is defeated.
