The bottle is made with sturdy frosted glass. It has gold and black lettering and a screw-top gold cap which makes it look very elegant. The bottle comes in a dark blue cardboard box with gold writing which I threw away. The bottle is not travel friendly as it is made from glass. It has no pump, but I use the pump of my old MAC foundation on it and it works great.
My EXPERIENCE with Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup SPF 10:
My main gripe with studio fix fluid was the shade selection. This foundation has a wide range of shades (you can check out the shade table on their official website), but it was a bit hard at first because I couldn’t make sense of all the numbers and letters. Then, I figured out that in my shade 3w2 for example, the 3 denotes shade intensity. 1=Very light/fair, 2=light, 3=medium, 4=medium/dark, 5=dark and 6=very dark/deep. The w in 3w2 means warm. N=neutral tone, C=cool tone and W=warm tone. The 2 in 3w2 means the darker second colour in the warm medium skin tone range. I can guarantee you that you will find your shade. Finally, a foundation yellow enough for my dark Indian skin!
I have very oily teenage skin with acne and pigmentation marks and this foundation covers it very well. It provides medium coverage and can be built up to full without looking cakey. It stays on my skin for around 8 hours whereas MAC rubbed off everywhere in 2 hours! Also, it gives a natural matte finish and I don’t even need to powder my skin because it sets so quickly. It stays on skin like cement, never rubbing off-even on white shirts. But beware; it stays so well that you need a good makeup remover to completely remove it. I have slept with it on in the plane journey back from India and my face still looked freshly done after the 2 flights that were 13 hours in total.
The texture is neither too thick nor too thin. It feels just right. It does not feel heavy at all. It contains SPF 10, but beware, it’s a physical sunscreen, so it does cause tiny bit of flash reflection. Also, I have heard dry-skinned ladies saying it clings to dry patches so be sure to moisturise well. I can’t comment on how well it works on mature skin so get a free sample and try it out first. This foundation has never broken me out. It has a bit of a strong paint-like smell which some people may find offensive. It smells exactly like Studio Fix Fluid. I personally like the smell!
DIRECTIONS OF USE-
You can use a stipple brush or normal brush or any tool you want to apply this foundation, but I find I get the best results when I use my fingers. It’s best if you do one area of your face at a time because the foundation sets very quickly.
PROS of Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup SPF 10:
* Medium coverage that is buildable to heavy coverage. There is another foundation in the double wear range called Double Wear Extreme that provides extremely high coverage for tattoos etc.
* Not cakey.
* No need for powder, it sets quickly.
* Wears for a long time on my very oily skin and covers my imperfections.
* Not that expensive.
* Excellent shade selection, I finally found my shade!
* Adapts to your skin tone and looks natural.
* Did not break me out.
* Transfer-proof and waterproof.
CONS of Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup SPF 10:
* Wears a bit too well, you need an oil based or bi-phased makeup remover to take this off.
* Bit of a ghost-face with flash but a bit of bronzer can fix that.
* Dry-skinned ladies need to moisturise beforehand.
* Shade numbers are a bit confusing at first to understand.
* Some ladies might not like the smell.
* No pump. but you can use a MAC pump which fits perfectly.

The Estee Lauder Double Wear in Honey Bronze used to be my go-to foundation for a very long while! When it says full coverage, it REALLY means full coverage. I never even had to whip out my concealer while wearing this foundation. It is easier to apply with a wet beauty blender or sponge. Working it in with a brush takes me way too long, so I don't prefer it. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have a pump -- because it gets messy! If only they'd revamp the packaging! Don't wear this on days when you've dry patches on your skin or an epic breakout -- it does not end well. It does have a tendency to look cakey if you're not careful with it.
Even with those minor problems I have with the product I'd buy it again. Its a great finish and coverage and you don't need to touch up during the day!

This foundation is my number one favourite right at the moment.Is is a full coverage foundation and I love a full coverage foundation anytime.The foundation last all day for me.It gets a little dry if you have normal to dry skin.But with a good primer beforehand works wonders with this foundation.It has a thick consistency.A little goes a long way.If you apply a lot of foundation then it gets really hard to blend because it gets really dry while applying the foundation.A little bit on the expensive side but as I said before a little goes a long way.I have had this foundation for a year now and still I have a lot of product left.Best applied with a wet Beauty blender because it gets a little difficult to blend with a brush.Its a long wear foundation.Covers every spots and blemishes.It retails for 3000 Rs.It comes in a glass bottle which makes it a little difficult to travel with.The packaging is a little bit bulky.It will look Cakey if applied alot of product.You don't need to set the foundation with powder because it tends to get more dry when applied powder on top of it.Overall a great product.Only a teeny tiny bit dry if applied alot.Other than that a great full coverage foundation
I have an oily skin and i got this product recently. I loved how it blends but after some hours my face started to look oily .For me it doesn't stay for long but for small time it is the best .It has good coverage and it also blends well.Giving it 4 stars because of the oily looking face after six hours
The liquid foundation is very powder based which makes it a godsend for oily skin but feared by those with normal to dry skin. If you have normal skin to oily then you'll be fine with this foundation but I really wouldn't suggest it for people with dry skin as the high powder content makes it very drying. If your skin is more combination or oily with dry patches, I would recommend wearing a moisturiser underneath the Double Wear foundation, even people with oily skin who don't wear a moisturiser under their make up can benefit from a layer under their Double Wear. Again though, this is where getting a sample before hand can prove very valuable as you'll be able to tell from a few wears if this is going to be the right foundation for you. Both the liquid and powder formulas are very buildable. Both the liquid and powder contain an SPF of 10. As a general rule, if you're going to have your photograph taken then you should stay away from foundations that contain an SPF because it reflects the light from the flash and can make your face look lighter than your body. However Estee Lauder promises that Double Wear is photo friendly and since I have tested this out when having my photo taken during the day and on an evening, I can concur with this
this is the best foundation for oily skin types. it has full coverage, it is oil based with dewy finish . the packaging is frosted without a pump. its a glass bottle which has a list to break but looks very highend and is highend of course. its is bit expensive. 10 ml is for 3300 bucks but if i get such amazing product then price doesn't matter. it lasts all day long . i use a primer den this foundation den mc studio fix and den a setting spray for that perfect flawless look. perfect for parties. dupe ill say mac studio fix foundation. i apply it with a brush and blend it slightly with a beauty blender.

This foundation is definitely not meant for dry skin types like me. But since i bought it after hearing so much about it, i dint want it to go waste (because i bought it for i guess Rs. 3000) so i decided to apply a good moisturiser and body shop's vitamin E serum before applying this. This definitely makes it look way better and keeps the skin looking hydrated. A good thing about it is the staying power - it stays put for 10-12 hours. Its a medium coverage light weight foundation and has a matte finish. I obviously only use it since i would not want to waste it, else it is not good for dry skin.
One of my all time favorite foundations. Its one of the few products that me less oily, even after few hours of usage It has medium coverage and stays put for a long time. The only drawback for me is the price and the fact that it doesnt have a pump. I find it a little unhygeinic.
