Moving out everyday to work or for my weekend brunches with friends applying foundation was a bit too much speacially for day and not applying anything just a sunscreen or moisturiser didn't give my skin a proper texture . That's when I started researching on something which I can apply daily while going out to work and protects my skin too . I came across few bb creams on some beauty blogs online and thought it's worth a try . One of these blogs helped to find out that bobby brown is the only brand giving so many variants of shades for bb cream helping you choose your perfect skin shade . It comes in small black packing in a tube , not at all fragile so you can very easily carry in your handbag everyday . The 40ml tube oozes out magic on your skin when applied and you need just few drops to cover your skin and neck . It has spf too which protects your skin from sun . It treats your skin and cover it well preventing it from the effects of pollution and sun . It adds glow plus provides coverage which doesn't look odd during day . Just apply your kohl and gloss and you are all set to go .
The first thing which hits you about the BB cream is the size of the tube. It’s fairly small and slender, but houses 40 ml of product – as opposed to 30 ml from other brands. The small black tube is extremely convenient to carry along in your bag. The tube has a screw on cap and a small nozzle from which to dispense off liquid. The nozzle allows sufficient control on the amount of product being dispensed out. The tube comes housed inside a black cardboard box – typical to Bobbi Brown.I have been in search of a good BB cream since ages, loved the texture of Guerlain BB cream but with only 3 shades, which too seemed a little cool toned, it was not a match. So, I was really keen on trying Bobbi Brown’s BB Cream – one, because she is known to have a good range of colours and two, she understands that our base products need a bit of yellow in them and thirdly, because of the fact that her products have rarely disappointed me.The BB cream comes in astounding 9 shades – the highest number of shades I have seen in a BB cream. The shade I picked is “Natural” – I use the same shade in Bobbi Brown’s foundations too. I’m NC 30-35 (depending on the season). The shade has a hint of yellow and suits my skin tone perfectly.
The texture is creamy, not too thick, not too runny either – easy to blend. I generally use my fingers for applying this. It feels like your day cream being applied – it’s not heavy and goes on smoothly.
