Subject : More like a compact
Comment : This Loreal True match Mineral foundation comes in a very sturdy packaging. It has a transparent cap which is very sturdy and not prone to crack easily. The bottom container is also sturdy and contains the mineral foundation, it is covered with a lid that has small holes to take out the product. Over that container, there is a screw cap with a kabuki sought of small brush attached, with which you can apply the product. It does fill out fine lines and gives sheer to medium coverage. I also noticed that the coverage is not as buildable as more product you apply the more looks cakey and dry it looks. I like to take a little bit on the lid and then using the brush that came with it. Just touch the brush on the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Then with the help of the brush, I blend it properly. I felt that blending it evenly can be tricky especially around the nose and corners of the mouth. If I have to use a concealer, I use underneath it so as to camouflage the marks and blemishes better. If not blended properly it can look blotchy. Since I do not like or require much coverage, I just sweep a little bit on the entire face and that is like more than enough for me. When I apply it more for medium coverage then I feel little heavy on my skin. I also realized that once I apply it within 10 -15 minutes it adapts itself to match my skin tone and also does gives some sheen. You may feel a little dry with this if you have dry skin so try to moisturize before using this that can also promote the blending procedure. But I doubt how it will fare with the dry skin. It is sweat proof and water proof to noticeable extent which is good for those who sweat or live in areas where they are more likely to sweat or in summers. Finding the right shade of the foundation is always like a battle which is no different with this as well, you have to make sure that the color matches your skin tone closely at least if not perfectly. For me it’s more like a compact than the foundation.

Comment : Benefit's Ka-Brow Cream-Gel Brow Color is a pomade-style brow filler that earns our top rating due to its long-wearing, transfer-resistant color, shade range with wide appeal, and ease of use. We appreciate how the texture has just enough malleability to go on smoothly but won't slip all over the place. As it dries down to a matte finish, you can count on color that stays put. The gamut of shades (six at the time of this review) cover light blonde to brunette to black hair in varying cool and warm tones. It's a flattering range and the colors are buildable so you're in control of how defined and dramatic your brows look. The fragrance-free formula comes in a glass pot with a brush built into the cap. While the brush isn't the most amazing quality (you'll want to use a regular size brow brush), it's handy if you're in a pinch. Perhaps one of the most convenient feature of Ka-Brow is just how easy it is to work with. We found ourselves taking less time than normal to fill in our brows—a welcome change—and it held up through a standard workday, no touch-ups required. Ka-Brow offers versatility whether you're going for statement brows or those that blend in a softer way. Nice work, Benefit! PROS: Pomade-cream texture has just enough malleability to go on smoothly but doesn't slip all over the place. Dries down to a matte finish for stay-put color. Nice variety of buildable shades for light blonde to brunette to black hair. Easy to work with. Fragrance free. CONS: None

Subject : Best matte lipstick in budget
Comment : the lipstick comes in a regular twist up packaging. The packaging is not very boring yet nothing attractive about it as well. The twist up packaging works extremely well and I already keep this lipstick for emergency touch ups all day and it never disappointed me at all. Overall, I would say a sturdy and effective packaging for a daily wear lipstick. I got shade BARE.the shade is a gorgeous brown MLBB with slight peach undertones. In fact, the undertone is so fading that you would only notice it under sunlight. A perfect nude-ish color to compliment a lot of Indian skin tones. On wheatish to deeper complexions, it turns out to be the perfect nude to match up with a smokey eye. It is smooth as a velvet and glides like butter on the lips without making the lips dry at all. you would notice the color has settle down with a nice matte finish without settling into the fine lines. It does not bleed and hence I am happy to skip the lip liner too when I am in a hurry

Subject : The best concealer for new MUA
Comment : This liquid concealer has a light texture that makes application and blending very easy, setting to a soft matte finish that appears skin-like without any creasing.the shade range is impressive .I have used many other brands but still i love this. Its pocket friendly and easy to use.
Palettes
Subject : The best luxury eye shadow palatte
Comment : The foiled or 3D Metal eye shadows are breathtakingly beautiful. Especially ‘Rose Gold’ and ‘Trust Fund’, my top favourites. I would say this is the prime reason to buy this palette. The pigmentation is intense and apply very easily. Perfect for the lids. The 2 pearl eyeshadows are decent like most of my other palettes. Pigmentation is medium can be built up. The matte eyeshadows. Hmm. I actually have mixed feelings about this. The good part is the choice of shades. I mean they have everything you could need from a transition shade to a base shade, etc. However, I feel the textures are a bit inconsistent. Some of the shades felt chalky especially ‘Bossy’ and ‘Henna’. You will definitely need a very good eye primer/base before packing these on. Blending is fairly easy and fall out is less.

Subject : Best foundation for daily makeup
Comment : The new L’Oreal Nude Magic Foundation comes in a rectangular glass bottle with a screw on cap. The packaging is certainly different but not exactly practical. Firstly, I prefer foundations to come with a pump dispenser and secondly there is always that risk of breakage when it comes to glass bottles. I almost always end up taking out more foundation than required as it is so runny. The product also tends to gather around the opening and looks untidy as I really do not have the time to clean it from time to time though to be honest I’m just plain lazy. the application is super easy as the formula is silky and transforms into powder after a few minutes of application its best to to apply the liquid powder foundation by hand as a sponge or brush would soak up too much of product. I usually never get the perfect finish when I apply foundations by hand but these sort of runny foundations work best when applied with hands. They sure weren’t kidding when they claimed it to be like second skin as the foundation feels extremely natural and adds a healthy glow to my face. I expected it to be quite matte but it is more satin or semi matte in finish.
Subject : Best primer for oily skin
Comment : L'Oréal Paris Base Magique Primer is a moisturiser designed to hydrate and protect skin as well as work as primer used to mask wrinkles and uneven textures in the skin before applying foundation. The formula erases fine lines and pores, and contains soft powders to help absorb sebum and mattify skin to reduce shine. Silicon oil enables easy glide-on application with no greasy residue for longer-lasting make-up. The packaging of the product is very eye catchy, both the outer box and glass jar look nice. The small glass jar has a black plastic cap that fits tightly on place to secure the contents. It is travel friendly packaging – compact and spill-proof. Though it looks classy but the only thing that I do not like about its packaging is that I have to dip my fingers to get hold of the product, and I do not particularly like dipping fingers in product. It has rosy shade as mentioned in claims but this color does not come up on the skin rather gives a nice and healthy glow to skin. When blended, it goes almost transparent. It is not a tinted primer so will not even out skin tone or hide any imperfections, and just sticks to the role of a primer i.e. enhance makeup longevity.

Subject : The best brow gel
Comment : I was really unaware of importance of eye brow filling game until @benefitindia taught the importance. @benefitcosmetics has actually changed the whole eyebrow game. And I love the change. @benefitindia Gimme Brow has all the wow-factor you'd expect from a BEST-rated product! The small brush easily grooms brows into your desired shape, and the tinted microfiber brow gel that the brush deposits works in two different ways to fill in sparse areas. The gel formula is thickening, so it clings to the existing brow hairs and builds volume without becoming clumpy or hard. Subtly building on what you already have is good news for people who have reasonably filled in eyebrows, but what if you don't? Use the tip of the small wand's brush to draw in a little color and you'll be surprised at how gorgeously even the sparsest brows will fill in. ????Small wand and brush is easy to manipulate. ????Grooms and fills in sparse brows. ????Can be used to draw in color. ????Doesn't make brow hairs clumpy or hard. Subject : Perfect travel size contouring pallete
Comment : The new Rimmel Kate Sculpting Kits help you get the complete look all from one palette. With a highlighter, contour, and blush shade in each compact, they’re convenient and add a beautiful natural sculpt and glow to the face. These palettes are relatively small, only a smidge larger than the palm of my hand. Even still, each shade is big enough to easily swirl a brush into. The highlight shades in all three palettes give a soft glow that’s more of a sheen than it is sparkly— a plus for me! The blushes also have good pigmentation and very subtle shimmer, which adds to the radiance of the finished look. really like the smooth texture, as they blend extremely easy over foundation, which is important when I want to layer them for more definition. What really surprised me, though, was the staying power. After a 6 hour work day, my contour was still visible without the patchiness I experience with a lot of other products. I like the texture and the color payoff lasts on me throughout a busy work day— something that’s hard to find!

Subject : A total waste
Comment : This product was a big disappointment and a waste of money. The cosmetic consists of a small bottle of red tinted liquid with a brush applicator. The brush was very small, too small for lip application and way too small for cheek application. It is meant to be brushed onto to the cheek and lips and “stain” them with color that will last longer and look more natural then lipstick, lip gloss, and blush. When I applied it to my cheeks, following the directions exactly that were on the bottle, real consumers real experience Reviews » Cosmetics » Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Rose Tinted Cheek & Lip Stain I decided to try the Benefit Benetint Rose Tinted Cheek & Lip Stain at the suggestion of the saleslady behind the counteragree ?disagree ? by Gianna Lauretta TRUSTWORTHY all reviews Support I am a big fan of the Benefit Cosmetics line. I use many of their products and am usually pleased with anything I purchase. I decided to try the Benefit Benetint Rose Tinted Cheek & Lip Stain at the suggestion of the saleslady behind the counter. This product was a big disappointment and a waste of money. When I applied it to my cheeks, following the directions exactly that were on the bottle, it would not blend; no matter how many different times I tried to use it. I was left with spot of red that would not blend into any semblance of blush, even when I tried to apply it in different ways then the method recommended. When I tried to use it on the lips, I did not see any lasting results. If I applied many many layers of the tint, I could see the coloring (which was not natural or attractive looking at all) but it did not last more than 15 minutes or so. I tried applying it over and under chap stick and lipstick. Neither made a difference. This product was a colossal waste of time and money. While I liked the idea of a lip and cheek stain, this did not deliver as promised.

Home / MAKEUP REVOLUTION ICONIC PRO BLUSH BRONZE AND BRIGHTEN FLUSH PALETTE REVIEW MAKEUP REVOLUTION ICONIC PRO BLUSH BRONZE AND BRIGHTEN FLUSH PALETTE REVIEW MAR 22 by: ADMIN note: 2 COMMENTS Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Blush Bronze and Brighten Flush palette scarletblushblog.com Ria Rajendran (6) Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Blush Bronze and Brighten Flush palette If you are someone like me who likes to Travel light, and prefer to carry multi utility products or the miniature versions of the products then this product is for you. Today i am going to be talking about the Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Blush, Bronze and Brighten Palette – Flush! The ‘Blush, Bronze & Brighten’ palettes, as the name suggests, each contain a blush, bronzer and highlight powder – All of them are big pans of products but the palette is still compact and sleek, whilst housing a good sized mirror. I really like the concept of having a bronzer, blusher and highlight all in one palette as it makes things very easy when applying your make up and it comes in handy without having to hunt out each product. I also think it is great to have a multi-use product such as this when it comes to travel as this combines three products in one, saving a lot of space and weight As you can see this has a really nice quality look, it has the sheen that you may have come to expect from Makeup Revolution products and it has the iconic rose gold script that I love so much. This palette looks like they’re worth far more than their, unbelievable, Rs. 850/- price tag! These palettes are Available in 4 amazing shade variations : Rave, Flush, Smoulder and Golden Hot. The Bronzer is just slightly darker than my skintone probably just a shade darker so it isnt a very dark bronzer but would work as a subtle everyday natural looking bronzer which is perfect! The Highlighter has pretty honey tone in it and it gives the correct sheen to the skin. Its great for my NC 42 skintone. The Blusher is a beautiful peachy-pinky-coral blush which just gives a flush of color on my cheeks The formulation of these palettes is really good; they’re very pigmented, blend well and last all day on me. They also have a silky smooth texture and so are extremely easy to apply without feeling chalky

Subject : A budgeted liner
Comment : A black liner is a staple for most of us; I personally love a good liquid liner and use it almost daily since I feel it gives the most precise application especially for that perfect winged eyeliner look which we all love. And here is the new Colossal liner by Maybelline in shade Black which makes eyeliner application easy as a cakewalk which I will review and swatch today. The Maybelline Colossal range already has a black kajal, turquoise kohl, both waterproof and non waterproof mascaras and now the pen eyeliner which I recently bought. Maybelline the colossal liner is only available in black color as of now, I wish Maybelline introduces some new shades as these pen eyeliners are a boon for many. I was very impressed to see how one stroke gives opaque jet black shade, pigmentation wise this is one of the best liquid eyeliner currently available. The formula is not too wet and sets within seconds to a semi matte finish which has slight sheen which prevents it from looking flat. It does not budge easily or transfer. The liner is not completely waterproof and on contact with water it can get messy but a good eye makeup remover is needed to remove all the last traces completely. I have been using this liner since a while now and have not experience any drying issues with the tip so far. Currently in winters it stays for around 7 hours without any fading and smudging, although I doubt about the staying span during summers.

Subject : MAC lipsticks are the best
Comment : I have got the much coveted, the very famous Mac Ruby Woo and as a result I am jumping with joy. At last the much hyped red lipstick in the whole world is in my hands. I am sure Ruby Woo doesn’t need any introduction. Ruby Woo is a hot favourite of a lot of Hollywood as well Bollywood stars. Ruby Woo is definitely a cult favourite. Ruby is no doubt an attention grabbing colour. I wanted the Ruby Woo since ages and every time I went to the Mac store in Delhi it was always out of stock. I wanted Riri Woo too as it is a much brighter red and the packaging is so classy but since it is a limited edition I could not get that. So finally when I went to Mac last month the first thing that I asked the MUA even before entering the store was Do you have Ruby Woo and she said YES… I was ecstatic when I heard that it was in stock I love bright and bold lipsticks(even if my husband hates them), I love wearing bright lippies as they add so much of brightness to your face, they add the much needed glamour to your entire look, in short, a bright lipstick completes my look. I hardly have any nude or brown in my stash. My collection is all about reds, pinks, fuchsia’s, orange and corals. So the latest addition in my stash is Mac Ruby Woo so I will be reviewing it today. Ruby Woo is the queen of all red lipsticks.

Subject : One of my favourite mascara
Comment : Hello people!! L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara comes in a black and gold tube which has the name of the product emboldened along its length. I like the packaging – both in appearance as well functionality. The brush is amazing and the wiper inside the tube ensures that the brush does not pick up excess product. My main issue with many mascaras including high end ones has been excess product on the brush but this one is cleverly designed to overcome that. The brush has lots of tiny plastic bristles that give volume+length without coating the lashes with too much product. The only downside is that the brush is rather thick so the very tiny inner lashes can be difficult to coat without getting some product on the skin. The tube design is slightly thicker than how I like, its easier to hold slimmer handles during application but this is a really minor issue! The mascara dries down quickly though not so quickly that you can’t work with it for a few seconds. It volumizes as well as lengthens but what I love most about it is that it gives the lashes a very clean, defined look, almost as if one is wearing a false lashes. The ends of the lashes are perfectly aligned which just looks so symmetric and neat! It does the fanned out effect that it claims. Out of all the mascaras I’ve tried so far, this is the only one which gives this effect! It also holds up curl really well, I generally curl my lashes in the morning when I do my makeup and even 10 hours later, my lashes look perfectly curled! I also love the jet-black color of this mascara! Even though it is not waterproof, I’ve rarely had issues with it running down but then I do not have a very moist eye area and water-resistant works fine for me. However, women with very oily/sweaty eye area should steer clear of this one because it will run down if you sweat a lot around the eyes. The upside is that it comes off easily with any makeup remover (not plain water though)

Subject : Great product
Comment : Hypercurl Volum’ Express Mascara has been in the market for quite some time now and being an ardent fan of mascaras, anything written ‘volume’ and ‘waterproof’ catches my eyes and I end up buying that. So, this is another one of those buys again but I wasn’t very skeptical because Maybelline, as a brand, hardly fails. Also, because I keep the Maybelline The Falsies Mascara as a backup one in case I don’t like any mascara that I have recently purchased. The packaging is in a fat chubby wrapping with a sleek black and rose gold one. I loved how they have coordinated the color and it looks quite pleasing rather than boring. The waterproof/washable variant is written on the bottom and it comes with an attached wand with the cap. Overall, the mascara has every feature in regular Maybelline mascaras and quite lightweight and travel friendly as well. The texture of the mascara is of a thick whipped cream. I have used several volume boost mascaras before but I found the texture slightly dry. Hence, you have to work super-fast when it comes to coating several times. If you wait too much, two coats can even feel clumping and uneven. Having said that, it dries up pretty fast on the eyes and doesn’t crumble too much on the eyes as well. The mascara does curls, add length and volume to the lashes but everything is in small amount. And that is why I have a love-hate relationship with this one. Often I skip the eyelash curler when I am in hurry and this wand beautifully curls up the lashes and keep it intact for several hours. If you use a curler, the curls stays intact for whole day. It adds slight length which looks good but coating inner lashes is difficult and hence, looks uneven. Coming to the volume part, it only adds a little volume for a nominal daytime office kind of look but not the ‘over-the-top’ falsies volume. The staying power is indeed impressive. It stays for the whole day but the amount of volume goes down after 6-7hours which is pretty much in all mascaras. For the price, I would say this is a great mascara for daily wear even though it does have certain drawbacks. OVERALL – A pretty mascara with thick whipped texture that adds a little of everything – curl, length and volume and can be used as a great wear mascara. Also, available in two variants of your choice.

Subject : Awesome nude colors palette
Comment : So talking about this nude palette from maybelline. It has all nude shades. They are apt for daily use. The shadows feature a mix of satin, frost, and matte shades. I’d say you’re looking at about five matte shades all of which are fairly dry and dense with sheerer color pay off. There are two or three frosts and the rest are satin. I find the frost shades are nicely pigmented but since I dislike frosty shades I’m not keen on these. The satin shades are ok but also prove sheer. Out of the entire palette there are two shades that performed very well. One of which is the fourth shade on the top row and the fourth shade on the bottom row. These too colors had a velvety texture with strong pigmentation and a fairly soft, buttery texture. It makes me rather sad that out of twelve shades only two captured my attention as fair quality where as the rest were just blah.I think the palette looks amazing! And really quite exciting for the natural girls and guys out there. But when you get it home and realize the shadows are either sheer or just too bloody dry to blend well that’s when the disappointment comes into play. The Maybelline the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is unique to the drugstore world but it has a long way to go to becoming anything at all like the nude, natural palettes we’ve been seeing lately. At this price you can get twice as much palette and better quality from the Coastal Scents Revealed Palettes

Subject : Awesome spray to keep your makeup fresh
Comment : Honestly, there isn’t a single thing that I don’t like about MAC Fix + spray. I love it a lot. This caution is just for people with oily skin. This spray does give a shine and dewiness to the face so I am not sure how it would work with oily skin. I suggest that you go to the store, ask the MUA to spray it on your face and let that be on your face for a few hours. That ways you would be able to decide better as to how it works on your skin. A lot of people with oily skin also swear by it but I suggest that you do give it a trial test before purchasing. It is very cooling and refreshing so I won’t be purchasing it in winters and this bottle is going to last me atleast till October. You have to spray it atleast 10-12 inches away from your face so that the mist is equally sprayed or else you would end up having little water patches on your face. You may use rose water as a finishing spray as well but personally I have felt that MAC Fix + spray keeps my skin more moisturized and I don’t have to bother about dryness at all. I love facial mists and this does set my makeup. The other day I was wearing heavy liquid foundation and with the Delhi temperature these days, most liquid foundations are bound to melt. I had sprayed Fix + on my face and my makeup didn’t budge for hours. I was outside (without air conditioning) , inside, moving around without any worry about my makeup slipping or getting ruined in any way. I carry it with me and spray it on top of my makeup just to cool myself. You spray it on your face and it evaporates within 30 seconds or so leaving your skin fresh. I have used it with my eyeshadows and pigments to bring more intensity to the colour and to set eye shadows. It works great. I use it on my bare skin after applying face packs etc. It lightly moisturizes my face. I use it after powders and it gives a dewy finish to my skin. MAC fix + removes all the powdery finish leaving the skin glowy and dewy. I love the light cucumber fragrance of the spray. Sometimes I get dry patches around my nose , MAC Fix + spray takes care of all the dryness on my face. It is enriched with glycerin, cucumber, castor oil etc. Goody Good! ???? The bottle would last me good 6-8 months.

Subject : A great find
Comment : When I got MAC Studio Fix Fluid Spf 15, it seemed like the only foundation I was going to need through the summer months. I got this stuff as I wanted some base with good amount of coverage. My skin isn’t looking great, all thanks to my hectic schedule and poor eating habits. I wanted something that could help me to blur my imperfections and smooth the appearance of pores. Also during these horribly hot summer months, I prefer a base product with SPF that can look after my skin simultaneously. So while hunting for a good summer foundation I came across MAC studio fix fluid which looked like perfect match. A little amount of product goes a long way as it offers high coverage. The coverage is buildable and two layers are enough if you want heavy coverage. It does cover light spots and marks in one layer itself, but if your skin has way too many blemishes, this foundation needs a second layer to cover up everything. Make sure you blend the foundation as quick as you can because it has the tendency to set quickly. the texture is liquid but not excessively runny, or ‘Fluid’ if you go by its name. It blends seamlessly into the skin and looks natural in every way possible. You can blend it with damp sponge and try to avoid normal foundation brush as brushes can sometimes make thick foundations look streaky. The texture is not that lightweight if you build layers, specially for oily skin person like me(I’ve tried products with better texture). The foundation has SPF 15 but thankfully doesn’t deposit any whitish layer on the skin. However, if you are going out in the sun, you have to apply sunscreen underneath. I have a very oily skin and summer worsens my skin condition. I had not so good experience wearing this foundation on its own as my oil broke down the foundation on T-zone giving me a cakey and uneven look. I was about to throw it but decided to give it one last chance – I used a primer and a translucent powder to set it. OMGee it was totally like a different product. It suddenly changed into a perfect base that really helped me to look flawless without overdoing the layers.

Comment : Firstly, the Liquid Mattes were much easier to get hold of in Dubai than the Lip Contours but not every single colour in the range is easy to source. I managed to get these four from Mall of the Emirates in Dubai and they seem to be restocking frequently. They're also now on Cult Beauty and Sephora and stocked in Harrods in London. Again there was a huge amount of hype around the launch, Huda's own snapchat feed from the launch in Harrods was insane. And for good reason-these are seriously good-possibly my all time favourite liquid lipstick-and definitely the least drying that I have tried. There was a little bit of inconsistency across the range-Gossip Gurl was the most drying on me. Material Girl was the patchiest when I applied it initially and I thought I hated it but it wore amazingly throughout the day and was easily the longest lasting and most perfect at the end of the day. Heartbreaker was also brilliant. Cheerleader was the one the wore the worst, it seemed to fade quite a bit in the centre. However, reapplication was easy and so topping it up wasn't a problem. My lips weren't dry or flaky and the colour didn't bleed or peel off my lips. They're really lightweight and very densely pigmented and dry to a very comfortable matte. I like them so much I've just bought another 3 shades from Sephora!

Comment : These lipsticks are for 299 rupees and online you can get them as cheap as 240 during the sale season online. These Maybelline color show lipsticks are packaged a decently looking glossy black packaging. The colors are shown on the band that we see in the middle. The shades which are orangey, there would be an orange band and for the pink, pink, bands and so on. This actually helps to locate the lipstick. Like I have 5 of these lipsticks so, locating them without opening these Maybelline color show lipsticks becomes really easy. Maybelline color show lipsticks are worth the money. Some of the shades are glossy, light in color which looks lovely for the day time. While some shades are very vivid bright color that one can wear for grand occasions. There are so many shades in this range that one can have a shade that they would love to wear. I have 5 of these lipsticks as the price is really affordable. I will recommend that you can try these lipsticks, you will love them.

Comment : A luxurious domed face powder with minerals, slowly baked to provide a dimensional yet natural-matte finish. Provides perfect low coverage. Use to set and fix foundation or as a touch-up throughout the day. MAC Mineralize SkinFinish Natural is one of my first product that I purchased from MAC. I bought this in December along with MAC Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation. Honestly, when I bought it I had no clue why I was purchasing it. I was pissed with Lakme’s base makeup and the MAC makeup artist did such an excellent job on giving the most natural look to my skin that I picked MSF up in a jiffy. It was expensive for a compact but then I couldn’t go on looking like a white cakey ghost for the rest of my life. Both MAC Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural that MUA used on me gave me exactly the look that I always wanted. Clear, non cakey, natural, and dewy. MAC Mineralize skin finish natural is a baked mineral powder. And it is supposed to give a natural look.I have used quite a lot of it so you see the flat top of the product. Otherwise it’s quite a big dome, good enough to last you atleast 2 years even if you use it every single day. It’s crazy. ???? It’s 10 gm of product. It blends into the skin like a magic. It’s there and it’s not there. You can’t actually make out if there is anything on your skin, atleast I can’t. May be because the shade also matches my skintone so perfectly. You may also purchase the darker shades and use it as a bronzer.

Subject : Shade polly and faded
Comment : All Lime Crime products have very unique packaging. These Velvetines liquid lipsticks come in a frosted plastic tube with a doe-foot applicator. I love the design of roses on the cap which gives it such a girly appeal. The applicator is a bit small, but it is precise. I personally do not feel any difficulty with application since I am quite familiar with liquid lipsticks. But, for beginners, it might take some practice as mistakes can be a bit difficult to clean as the lipstick does set quickly. Once it dries, it is completely budgeproof , smudgeproof and kissproof. It does not bleed at all. It works best at the thinnest layer, hence if you put it too thick, it will feel drying and transfer too. FADED-The shade, “Faded”, is a gorgeous cool toned faded purple-mauve color. It is a very unique shade and complements cool toned makeup really well. Even though this shade is very different, it will still look flattering on most skin tones. POLLY- “Polly” is a purple-tinged pink, I think it’s a fairly unique shade, not that there aren’t purple-pinks in the market. There definitely are, but still, this one is this beautiful balance of pink and purple which brightens, is super easy on the eye, and is extremely flattering. I really do like this one! I think the shade would work across the spectrum of skin tones. It would probably lean more purple on darker skin tones. It is available on there website for $20 with shipping charges extra.

Comment : The colors offered by the Maybelline baby lips are in fact very flattering on Indian skin tones, I use it , my friends use it and it is true, we all found a color that suit us. The lip balm doesn’t pack on a lot of pigment though, the intensity of the color you get will be light and the finish would be glossy balm finish, but unlike gloss, your hair won’t stick to your lips. It gives a really nice light pink tint to my lips and I really like it for when I am not in the mood for a lipstick. I can easily fit it into my wallet when I am not carrying a bigger bag. The only thing that bugs me is that a company like Maybelline doesn’t think it necessary to tell us even a bit about the ingredients used. However, I like the packaging and with its reasonable price, along with SPF and slight tint it is sort of a multi-purpose save the day product for me. For me it does hydrate my lips well but if my lips are severely chapped then I have to run back to plain old Vaseline but I like it for everyday use as I can easily apply it on without a mirror without having to worry about getting the shape of my lips right like with gloss or lipstick. I was, however, a bit disappointed when I tasted it and it tasted lip normal lip balm on my lips, not the whole “More Flavor” that the packaging and the ads claim and the smell is not tropical either but if by flavors the company meant more colors they yeah the colors are nice and suit almost everybody.

Subject : Great range of colors for indian skintone
Comment : I found the texture of these lipsticks to be soft, of course in any way they were supposed to be soft since they are meant to be creaseless. I noticed that almost all shades had shimmers in them, may be only 1 or 2 shades to be exception. Pigmentation: I did not find any lipstick to be insanely pigmented. The range has either sheer lipsticks or semi opaque coverage lipsticks. Of course layering can build the color up, but for swatching I did not layer the lipsticks much, because I wanted to be as close as possible with the original shades. Shades: As I already told above, the range offers a total of 20 shades. While the earlier 9 to 5 range was all about mattes, this range is a creamier version and glides on smoothly.

Comment : Packed with four different shades of Studio Finish Concealers with two Studio Finish Correctors, the Conceal and Correct Palette comes in a sleek, clear case the same size as MAC Eyeshadow Quads. There are four sets of colors available – Light, Medium, Medium Deep and Dark. Studio Finish Concealers in the Conceal and Correct Palette felt creamy and not drying. The tiniest amount provided excellent coverage and blended easily. My only gripe is the price. A regular Studio Finish Concealer gives you 7g of product at $18 yet the Conceal and Correct Palette contains only 6g of product at $40. You are essentially paying more than twice as much per gram in return for the ease of having different colors in a compact.

Subject : Great day to day BB cream
Comment : This is really a nice and decent product, it gives light to medium coverage and blends nicely too. As it claims, it gives a glow to the face as well. But yes, do not expect too much as it is just a bb cream and not a foundation to hide every flaw from the face! : ) i don’t apply anything else after this, it is a good product.. i am totally satisfied. The product is great. It brightens and makes my skin look fresh. Use a small amount and its perfect for everyday use. It has SPF and it lasts for a fairly long time. And yeah make sure to choose the right shade: Radiance is for very fair skin tone, Natural is for fair skin tone, and Nude is the shade for wheatish to dusky skin tone. claims are true Contains SPF 21. Does not make skin greasy or too oily even after hours of application (on my combination skin) Easy to use Won’t clog pores Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin Attractive and cute packaging Easy to carry Brightens the face without leaving any whitish cast. Gives light coverage which is apt for routine/daily makeup. Imparts a healthy glow to the face shades available for different skin tone

Subject : One of the best liner by indian brand
Comment : I am a huge fan of lip liners and for sure, Colorbar Cosmetics makes one of the best lip liners in India. Though I own only one from this range. I must say that I totally loved these. The quality is great and the price is reasonable. The pigmentation is just great and one swipe is all that takes to cover any kind of pigmentation on lips. Also, the colorbar definer lip liner settles as a total matte finish which means it stays on for long. The lipliner is travel friendly and I love the fact that this doesn’t really need a touch up during my work hours. I would love to use it alone. But at times, I prefer to use it along with my lipstick to make my lips standout. The only con I feel is that the product wastage. You don’t want to waste a lot of product while sharpening.

Comment : This kajal comes in a new and oh so sexy packaging. The pack is totally black in color with bold pink prints on it. The kajal is in a retractable pencil and it contains 0.35 grams of product. I know the product quantity is really less as compared to the price but when you are a kajal hoarder you don’t have the time to look at the price. The pack is classy and travel friendly. I don’t think the pencil will last long and I think Loreal should reduce the price a bit.

Comment : Perfect your complexion and fight the look of blemishes with our Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream. This dual action cream gives you flawless coverage whilst tackling the appearance of blemishes. Formulated with purifying Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil from Kenya. – Blemishes and imperfections are instantly covered – Lightweight formula gives shine-free complexion – 3 shades blend seamlessly into all skin tones for natural-looking coverage The BB cream comes in 3 shades – 01 Light, 02 Medium and 03 Dark. I chose the 02 shade as it works well with my skin tone. I am glad the TBS has made that extra effort to launch it in 3 shades. The BB cream is packed in a sturdy green plastic tube with a flip cap. The colour of the flip cap is the same as the shade of the BB cream. It smells of tea tree oil which is quite refreshing. The fragrance subsides after some time so if you are not too fond of the tea tree smell, you don’t need to worry. The cream is quite thick when you squeeze it out, but it blends into the skin very easily. A small amount goes a long way. It get absorbed into the skin quickly leaving a dewy matte look. It is good for normal and oily skin, but if you have dry skin, you might need a moisturizer under it. The coverage provided is better than all the BB creams that I have tried out so far. It hides my pigmentation and acne scars to quite an extent. It gives me that fresh no make-up look instantly. I just love that. Even though it gives a matte look initially, after 4-5 hours, the face starts looking oily. It does not transfer on to the mobile. I am prone to acne these days and thankfully it did not break me out at all. So, I can safely say that it does not clog the pores, but I am not sure if it would make my skin clearer. Guess I’ll have to wait and watch.

Comment : Loreal true Match BB cream comes in three shades- Ivory, Honey and Gold to choose from. It contains the highest spf among other bb creams available in Indian Market and can be easily substituted for a daily sun lotion. As per the claims of the company it perfects and smoothens the skin from within as it contains anti ageing actives. Plus vitamins CG gives skin clarity and neutralizes the spots instantly. The anti ageing and spot neutralizing formula are the features which allured me into buying this. Among the three shades ivory matches my fair to normal skin tone; it blends very nicely and gives coverage that is pretty much like other bb creams give. As there are only three shades, even just one shade lighter cream can give whitish cast so shade selection is very important with this. The age spots and blemishes are partially covered and the skin looks even and toned. The face looks glowing and healthy and even after hours of wear I do not find the thing getting oxidized like foundations. Once worn it stays easily for more than 5-6 hours and I do not need compact touch ups as I have dry skin. It is very light on skin and looks very natural too just that the complexion looks even and brighter with this. The best part of Loreal True Match BB Cream is the sun protection formula is 35 which is much higher than what other bb creams posses. I do not have to top it up with an extra sunscreen plus the hydration it provides is good enough for normal and combination skin. From sheer to medium coverage to semi matte finish to staying power, I cannot figure out anything amiss with Loreal True Match BB Cream. However the only downside is that it is not meant for girls who want a matte look with a bb cream and also the hydration it provides is not adequate for dry and mature skin. I have to wear my regular moisturizer beneath this.

Subject : Awesome collection of red shades
Comment : This was the biggest L’Oreal Paris launch of 2015. And I cannot argue. Red lipsticks endorsed by L’Oreal ambassadors? I’m listening! This range has different set of stars depending on the country you live in. UK gets Julianne’s and Liya’s. US gets Eva’s and Blake’s, France gets Ines’ and Leila’s while apna India gets Sonam’s and Aishwarya’s in addition to Freida’s. Although it leads to a little confusion for those searching on google for swatches but it makes sense to rope in stars from the country people can associate to. The Indian version has 3 Indian women apart from some Korean Chinese celebrities so I am guessing the Asian countries get the same set of stars. The shades in this collection have quite a lot of variety. All these have red undertones as they fall under the Pure Reds category. This range has a pink, orange, brown, coral, wine, warm red, cool red. I like they have picked a colour from every colour family. My favourite shades are Pure Garnet, Pure Rouge and Pure Scarleto currently as winters are all about deep shades. In summers my hands would definitely go towards the brighter shades like Pure Fire, Pure Amarathe and Pure Vermeil. Pure Brick is the only shade which didn’t suit me as its a mature shade. I would recommend it to office going ladies. The pigmentation of these shades is good as they are deep and go opaque in one swipe.

Comment : True Match Super-Blendable Blush is a collection of silky powder blushes whose sheer colors and seamless application do indeed make them super-blendable. The palette of soft colors is beautiful and is divided into warm, cool, and neutral tones. You might find their blush groupings confusing (some of the cool shades go on more golden or peach than befits that description), but if you shop by the color itself rather than by its classification you should be satisfied. Each blush also indicates a coordinating shade of L’Oreal True Match foundation and powder, but blush color and foundation or powder color are unrelated so you can ignore that matching as well. Aside from those details, this is one of the better powder blushes at the drugstore. (Note: Each shade has a subtle shine, but it gives a soft glow to the cheeks, not distracting sparkles.)

Subject : Moonstone
Comment : This is by far my favourite highlighter of all time, I even like it better than champagne pop. Shocker, I know. It is so so soft and buttery - almost doesn't even feel like powder. Its not chunky or glittery, the shimmer is beautiful and the colour is perfect for my skin tone. I'm absolutely in love and obsessed with this. I would repurchase it in a heartbeat, I'd even keep backups. Moonstone is my favorite shade; but regardless of which color you choose: these highlighters epitomize the "lit from within" look everyone talks about. The effect is so beautiful and out of this world gorgeous without making you look texturized or metallic. You just simply shine and glow like you're some kind of angel. These are a must have for anyone, young or old, any skin type. No settling into pores or fine lines. The downfall of many highlighters is that it can be tricky to get a high color pay off without looking too "rough" because of the heavily concentrated pigments and shimmer. So many times I will find a highlighter that texturizes my skin, which is disappointing because I don't even have texture issues! (Discoloration, yes lord please help me there. But so far, so good with the overall smoothness of my skin. Oh shoot don't let me jinx this.) um, hello other highlighters, don't give me a problem I don't have, thanks! Becca has my heart for finding that rare, nearly impossible equilibrium of high shine factor without looking gritty. I can't gush over it enough. This baby is delicate. It will shatter if you are not careful, or if you travel with it. I like how Becca packaged it in a sturdy, nearly-rubber-nearly metal-case. I feel like they knew this would be an issue and tried to compensate for it. But unfortunately it's a problem I have encountered with basically any and all finely milled powders. I recommend purchasing it in-store, not from a website, and not traveling with it unless you absolutely have to. It's best to leave it safe on your vanity.

Comment : The dome shaped blush comes in a sturdy black case with a transparent plastic flip top cap opening; it has additional plastic cover to save blush from accidental breakage. Overall I am quite happy with its wide packaging. My shade “Gentle” is defined as raspberry with gold pearl which is true to its description as it comes up sheer raspberry pink on my pale skin tone with subtle hint of gold shimmers. Oh yes, don’t let the shimmery blush deceive you; these shimmers are barely visible on skin. Believe me! In fact I was pretty intimidated at first when I swatched it on hands but the way it comes up on my skin is ultimate love. As they say the shade truly gives me sheer and light-weight natural pink flush on cheeks while it is further buildable with no shimmery or glittery finish at all. I love how these shimmers never look OTT or bold on my oily skin; they never seem emphasizing my open pores or shiny skin. You know what, I feel that this color is exact match of my natural blushing and it certainly gives a cool tone to my bit warmer undertone somehow. I say so because I look bit fairer with natural pink glow which makes me reach for this blush every other day

Subject : My favourite lip pencil
Comment : The lip pencil comes in a matte black packaging. The pencil itself is wooden and has a black plastic cap. It is not a retractable pencil so it needs to be sharpened. I personally have no issue with that because it means that you can get a sharp tip everytime. But that also means that some of the product is wasted each time which might be a problem for some. The thickness of the pencil is pretty average and you can use any good eye/lip pencil sharpener available in the market for this purpose. I use a Colorbar one. The length, however, is on the longer side of an average lip pencil. Coming onto the texture, it is quite soft in the sense that it goes pretty smoothly on your lips and does not tug on them at all. However it isn’t crumbly soft either. When worn by itself, it feels quite comfortable on the lips and does not dry the lips any further. Because of this, it can be layered underneath a lipstick or worn alone by itself too. As a lip pencil, you can pair it with your nude and light pink lipsticks to create a gradient effect. I get an average wear time of about 4-5 hours with mild drinks in between. If you have a full meal with this on, it is going to wear off

Subject : Matte revlon nail enamel
Comment : These ‘matte’ nail enamels come in matte textured glass bottle with a black cap each. There is a nice print on the cap with the shade name on the top of the cap. The packaging looks nice and very cute. This range offers a normal brush applicator. I don’t like this brush as it is too thick to apply the color evenly on the nails. I need to swipe the color many times to make lighter shades appear perfect. Hence, the brush is quite difficult to work. Wish it were a little thicker in size. The nail color has a medium-thick texture that glides easily on the nails but even application is quite difficult. These nail colors stay on my nails for long without any chipping. They look nice even after a week. But the matte texture loses its matte effect after 4 days and becomes a little shiny. Also, if you apply oily products on your nails then also these turn glossy. Overall, the matte effect stays well for 4-5 days. But after that, it does not look as gorgeous.

Subject : One of the best drugstore mascara
Comment : Maybelline colossal volum express mascara comes in fat yellow colored tube that has the turquoise colored text. I find the packaging attractive, but somehow I feel that if the packaging were sleek it would have been easier to handle it. The advantage of this packaging is that you can spot it in a pile of makeup products. If it had been a black or grey colored tube, I would be spending couple of minutes in just taking it out from my vanity drawer (no matter how many times I organize makeup, I have to redo it after a couple of weeks). Nevertheless, this mascara comes in two versions – waterproof & non-waterproof. The price is same for both, and both have the same packaging except the text color. For, non-waterproof mascara, the yellow colored tube is coordinated with purple text. If you have both the mascaras, you can easily differentiate one from other by just seeing the text color. On daily basis I prefer non-waterproof mascara as it is easier to remove. I wear waterproof mascara on special occasions or when I have to wear makeup for really long hours. The black wand contains fine bristles that enhance lash volume. The bristles spread the product evenly and do not leave any residue clinging to the lashes. The length of the wand is average; I mean it is neither too long nor very shot. It provides good control while I have to work on inner lashes but if I talk about the ease of application on inner lashes, I feel it is not that great with this brush. Reason being, unlike the Maybelline falsies mascara, the volum express mascara has a flat brush that makes it difficult to reach the inner corner. I have to be very cautious while working on the inner corner and lower lashes. Otherwise, one slight mistake can smear it on nose and under eye area, and as this is waterproof it becomes hard to take it off. The consistency is neither too thick nor very runny; in fact for the consistency it is easier to coat the lashes without any clumps. I like heavily coated distinct lashes as they have the capability to lift up the regular look. This mascara dries fast so I have to quickly apply 2-3 coats to get that lift. I have long lashes and it makes them even longer. So if you have short and sparse eyelashes you will notice a lot of difference. The only con I find is that it does not give me the desired curl. I like curly eyelashes, but this mascara fails to add a dramatic curl.

Comment : I am so in Love with the new Nail color range launched by Maybelline. If I were to describe them in one word, I would say they are totally Fantastic! I mean first of all there are some amazing shades to choose from. These Nail paints stay on me for good 4-5 days without chipping at all, and yes they look equally fresh too!! The colors are opaque and look really glossy.Price – Rs 75 each but I got half of these at 70 Rupees and the other half from Shoppers Stop counter at 63 Rupees. For this price and color selection, I will give full points to Maybelline.

Subject : Not for oily skin
Comment : This is not for Oily Skin. If you are oily skin stay away from this foundation - you have been warned. Ok so for my combo-dry gals, this will be your HG foundation. I have an oily T-Zone but almost crepey skin texture on my cheeks, forehead and jaw. This foundation has some weird way of making the texture of my skin so smooth and supple that I have not seen in any foundation. I usually set this foundation with MAC's careblend powder and just set my nose with Rimmel's stay matte and I am set for the day

Subject : Much hyped.
Comment : These blushes are nice terms of formulation and blendability. They are ultra smooth and finely milled. Out of the 6 shades in this line, I purchased 3: Wild Honey (peachy nude), Flowerchild (peachy pink w/ golden highlights), and Hyacinth (vibrant poppy pink). I do think the these colors are pretty but I wouldn't say they are unique shades in any way. The best aspect of these blushes is that they do not emphasize any texture issues, dry patches, etc. As for cons, there are enough of them that I can't justify a higher star rating. Wear time sux for me - these fade out and away in less than 4 hours on me, which is odd because I have dry skin. Another issue (which I touched on above) is that the color range to me is lacking - kinda boring to be honest. If someone wanted to dupe these shades at a much lower price point I am betting this would be easy to do. I am also betting the formula is not quite as unique in terms of smoothness as its been hyped up to be, considering that its far from the only mineral formulation in existence. Ultimately though - and given the issues I do have with these - the price point is outrageous IMO. $32.00 for 0.2 oz?!? No thanks, I'm just not impressed enough with these to justify paying that much.

Subject : Really love sugar lip crayons
Comment : The Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick has a creamy consistency that eventually settles in to a matte finish. With stunning shades that dont fail to impress, it provides maximum coverage with the right amount of color. This power product is dermatologically tested & approved and 100% safe for your skin.. Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipsticks come packed in cardboard box. Once you open the box, you will see black colored crayon. The bottom of each crayon is color coded to identify the shade. Overall, nice and sturdy packaging which is totally safe to carry. These Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipsticks have soft, creamy texture and glides smoothly on lips. These lipsticks don’t make lips dry or stretchy. However, as it is winter, so I would suggest to exfoliate the lips before applying these lipsticks. The lipsticks are very lightweight and you won’t even feel that you have put any lipstick on. But sometimes certain shades do accentuate fine lines, therefore exfoliation is must to get rid of this. Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipsticks are fragrance free. Talking about pigmentation, these lipsticks provide great color pay off in just one swipe and have lovely matte finish. Lips feel very comfortable throughout the day, no heaviness or stickiness at all. Plus the staying power is also great. The lipsticks stay put on my lips for 4-5 hours without any touch up, even if I had any meal or drink in between. Re-application is also hassle free, just a swipe and you are good to go again.

Subject : Great
Comment : It's a finely pressed powder, perfect for on the go retouches and traveling. With a damp kabuki brush or damp sponge, I'm able to put this on beautifully (takes a bit of practice). I kid you not people actually think I use liquid foundation on my face! It gives me a nice medium coverage. I don't use concealer but I heard that if you do want to use one, apply that first before putting your foundation. Performance: By around 4 hours my nose starts to get oily, but I'm able to blot it off with blotting paper without disturbing much of the product. I also don't really use this to retouch for oilyness, I use my innisfree no sebum mineral powder for that (to save the product). By the end of the day it will fade as most powder foundations do, but it fades gracefully. Its one of those moments where you actually look better when your make-up fades! (anyone has the same thing happen to them?) I say this is perfect for girls with oily and combination skin, and I highly discourage my dry skin sisters with this. I love this product and the only con really is the price. This gives me a nice based and a pretty glow, BUT PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO: GET. THE. RIGHT. SHADE

The only difference in the packaging of the Enrich Satin lipstick & Enrich Matte lipstick is that the later comes with a matte inner case. There is no shade name provided, only the shade number PM12 is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick and also on the outer carton. All in all, the packaging is sturdy and the cap will not open accidently in your purse that makes it easy to carry while going out. Sturdy and travel-friendly packaging. Beautiful coral pink shade. Non-drying formula. Feels very light on the lips. It has good pigmentation. It gives a matte finish and stays on for up to 3 hrs. 20 pretty shades are available. Not very expensive.

Subject : Old traditional liquid liner
Comment : This liner comes in a super cute teeny tiny bottle. You can easily plop it in your bag and easily lose it too ???? This liner is not the blackest black. The good aspect is ,you can layer it on without making it flakey. In this aspect, it is much better than the Inglot and Sephora eye liners that had been reviewed earlier. The applicator is fine enough but it does not give a hyper sharp line. I suggest you do not store this eye liner for long. Use it on a regular basis and get it over with. If you store it, I will continue to thicken and become useless. The consistency of fresh bottle of liner is pretty thin. This liner sets into a matte finish. The staying power is pretty amazing too. For me it lasts easily between 5-6 hours if I don’t rub my eyes. It does not flake. This eyeliner is not water proof. It comes off with a simple face wash. Some may not like this feature, I personally like this.

Subject : One of the best setting powder
Comment : It sets my foundation on my t-zone perfectly. Keeps oil away and adds a little extra coverage (definitely not as translucent as I thought it would be, but I'm actually kind of happy about that, tbh). It cleans up my contour SO nicely, leaving my lines more defined. It also is the only powder that stops foundation from settling into my fine lines! I have smile lines and a wrinkle straight across my forehead, and this stuff keeps it from gunking up. So awesome! Cons: I can't use it under my eyes, because it's so drying. I have to use a separate powder to set my under- eye concealer. I also can't use it to set my foundation all over my face because it does look a tad powdery. Price: it's expensive. But for my personal needs, it's worth it. Packaging: It's good. A jar with a sifter that you can shake into a twist off lid. Some powders in this type of packaging are impossible to dispense but this one comes out easily. Tips: I definitely recommend using a setting spray with this powder to make the finish look more natural. Try to just use this on your oily areas because it can be quite drying.

Comment : Elle 18 Color Pops Lipsticks come in a cute black plastic lipstick bullet with a twist up bottom. The shade name and number are printed on the bottom of the lipsticks. The packaging makes these tiny ones easy to carry, user friendly and mess free. The only problem you might have to face is ‘breakage’. If you are living in hotter cities of India (Eg. Chennai) then I am sure it would melt and break from the bottom if not stored inside the refrigerator. But for 100 bucks.. hmm well, I am not complaining. The lipsticks are more prone to breakage if not stored in a refrigerator. These lipsticks smell sweet, bubble gum-like; but few girls out there hate the smell! All these lipsticks contain a moisturizing core in the center to prevent lips from drying. The staying power ranges from 2-4 hours but not more than that due to the creamy nature. If you have dry lips, these lipsticks are best affordable picks for you! For 100 bucks, these are one of the best selling lipsticks in India. No one I know has ever experienced allergies/irritation with these lippies.

Subject : Best for dewy look
Comment : This very liquidy foundation gives my oily skin the most beautiful satin-matte finish (verging on dewy). Shade NC35 is perfect for my golden medium skin (Ref: EL 3w1 Tawny, Nars Stromboli). I drop it on the back of my hand, then use the RT expert face brush to buff on. It spreads on SO easily and gives medium coverage that way. Because my skin is super oily and this is a satin-matte finish, I set my T-zone with loose powder. That combination really helps to extend the wear. I was SO surprised how after 10 hours I still looked decent; this is surprisingly long wearing and not a greasy formula! If you have oily skin and want light to medium coverage with satin-matte finish I would recommend this. It feels weightless on skin, looks natural, and doesn't sink into pores or cake up. Cons: Dropper packaging is fussy (but I get it; it's very liquidy). Pricey.I recommend using a sponge, rather than a brush, because when I used a brush, the bristles made the foundation appear streaky due to its thin consistency. The reason I gave it four stars rather than five is that after 5 or 6 hours it went cakey on me, and also when I applied powder on top it seemed to cling to certain areas and not others. This doesn't really bother me because I wouldn't usually apply powder to this, as I like the glow it gives. Overall, really good and would buy again.

Subject : Nice formula
Comment : It has a gel-like creamy and smooth texture. The foundation has quite a thin creamy consistency which helps blend quickly to give an even and flawless finish. You really don’t have to do any hard work for blending in the foundation. It blends with a light hand, so comfortably like I am applying a good coverage BB cream. The foundation feels light on the skin and does give the second skin feeling as the brand claims. It is weightless and blends perfectly. The formula of the foundation is really impressive.I tried using my fingers and also a duo fiber brush to apply the foundation. It works fine with both, but with a brush, you can get a perfect finish. The foundation gives medium to full heavy coverage. You can apply a few dots and blend it for a very natural and light finish and also build it up for a heavy coverage. The foundation easily covers up all the blemishes and dark spots. The formula blends and spreads evenly into the skin and gives a nice matte finish. The foundation wore on for a good 10 hours on me and it did not get cakey or patchy. It did not oxidize on me and it gave me pretty natural finish. I picked up the shade “Beige Honey,” which matches my skin tone really well and almost perfect. My hands are fairer than my face, so it looks orangey in the hand swatch. The foundation is free from SPF, which might be bothersome, but for me, it is perfect as it can photograph well.

Comment : Packaging: The foundation comes in their “Absolute” signature style packaging with a glossy black box and some hints of silver and white. The foundation comes in a medium-sized bottle. It has the shade name and number written at the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is handy and looks luxurious too. It has a nice pump mechanism which works really well and dispenses only a pea-sized amount at once. The price is also reasonable since it comes from a reputed brand like Lakme and most of the good foundations in this price range only. Inr 750 The shade that I have picked is called “Beige Glimmer,” and I picked this particular shade because my skin has tanned a bit, but this proved to be a tad darker and yellow for my skin, so I would prefer a lighter shade. What I did not like is that this range has only 4 shades to select from and the shade range is limited to fair to medium skin tones. I wish Lakme launches shades catering to more Indian skin tones. Beige Glimmer is a medium flesh toned shade with mild yellow undertones. The shade is pretty pigmented and has little illuminating shimmer. The illuminating foundation works really well since it brightens up my skin in seconds. It makes my skin look a lot healthier and fresh. It gives me medium coverage by covering dull skin, uneven skin tone, redness and also brightens up my under-eye area by making dark circles look less darker, but it does not cover up acne marks and blemishes. It will just cover minor flaws. It gives my face a very fresh glow because of the illuminating particles present.

Comment : I've purchased this four, maybe five times in the last two or three years. It is by far the BEST cream/gel liner I've ever used. Previously I used Tarte's Amazonian Clay liner and tried Maybelline but this beats them both. The brush kind of sucks, I there it out and use an inexpensive Japonesque liner brush. It is SO black and stays on through crying, allergy season, naps, everything! It applies so smoothly too. All time favourite liner! I have tried so many cream and liquid liners and pens and my watery/sensitive eyes smudge and crease. This is the first liner I have tried that really stays put. I love it. It is not a jet black, more of a soft black which I prefer so my lashes are blacker. I also have it in "Black Honey" but the black is my go to. The BH is a rich eggplant with a touch of shimmer and I feel it competes a bit with my eye colour, I think it would be fabulous on green and hazel eyes. The tiny brush is ok for travel, but it isnt effective for daily use, I always use a regular sized angled or thin liner brush.

Comment : What it basically is, is a bottle housing a sponge saturated with nail paint remover with a hole in the center. You dip your finger in, hold it there 10-15 seconds and then twist it around 3-4 times and when you pull it out, all the nail paint is gone. It takes me just about a minute to remove the polish from one hand now. And I especially like this for darker polishes because they tend to get a little messy when you remove then in the traditional method – especially reds. I was told by the Colorbar SA that it’ll last be 4-5 months easily when used once a week. I generally change my polish more often than that. I’ve had it for over 2 months now and it hasn’t dried out or anything yet. Its acetone-free and doesn’t dry out my finger tips at all. In fact, they feel a little nourished when I use this. It has soapy fragrance that tends to stay around for the while on the fingers. Its not unpleasant so I don’t mind but everyone may not like it! With the obvious benefit of being quick, convenient and easy, it has some serious drawbacks! – Hygiene factor. All the nail polish you remove goes back into the sponge so over the course of a few months, there is a lot of gunk collecting in that sponge. – Can’t use it for toe nails. – Can’t use it for glitter polishes

Comment : The concept of Lakme Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact is that it can be used as a foundation when wet and as a compact when dry which is what it comes in (dry form). If you want to use it as a foundation, you can slightly wet the sponge and pat it on the compact and then apply it with light hand or you can use a damp beauty blender or even a damp stippling brush. I think the sponge gives a pretty much good finish when used wet as well as dry. When used wet, the compact gives a pearly finish with somewhat sheer to medium coverage and my dry skin kind of looks good when I use this compact as wet but I still have to make sure that my face is nicely moisturized or it can look patchy and cakey. It has very soft texture which feels like silk if you touch it with your hands.

Subject : Cream highlighter
Comment : The highlighter comes in a creamy stick with a little sponge applicator on the other end. The plan is that you draw on a line or two of highlighter wherever you want it on your face and then you blend it in with the sponge. I did this the first handful of times I used it and it works fine and does really blend and blur the highlighter. Although I feel personally for me I like to use my fingers or a brush as I feel that blends it into my face a little bit more seamlessly but that is just personal choice I guess and I think its good that you do get the sponge to use as an option. The highlighter is a cream and the description says it turns to powder when applied. I would disagree with this slightly though. It definitely is a straight-up cream when its own your face and I understand what they mean as it does have a more powder look on your face when applied but its definitely not a powder in the traditional form. If your not a fan of a powder highlight please don't let that put you off this as it still has 100% the texture of cream on your skin just not the full look. I was so happy with the finish and feel of the highlight and was so happy that is wasn't a full powder finish either.

Comment : L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis nail polish collection is rich in high-concentrate pigments and a built-in Top Coat. The Top Coat contains film-foaming polymers for shine and colour durability plus a “crystal acrylic” to ensure the purest and truest colour. The ultra-fine ingredients in the formula are combined in a liquid gel base called Liquigel, so the polish glides on smoothly and easily during application and provides even coverage over the entire nail. The liquid gel base prevents the polish from spreading too thinly to avoid the runs drips and bubbles of classic polishes. Colour Riche Le Vernis has an innovative new brush that includes three different patents in its design. Firstly the stem was especially created to ensure the product adheres to the centre of the brush ans delivers just the right dose of polish for a one-stroke application. Secondly, the internal and external capillaries of the bristles serve as reservoirs to ensure better polish applications and thirdly the brush is flat and rounded so that each stroke applies an even amount of product along the nail. Available in 38 shades.

Comment : The product comes in a tiny transparent plastic tube, with black and pink graphics , which is characteristic of Elle 18 products and a black screw-on cap. Remove the cap and you find a tiny nozzle through which you can squeeze out the product and spread it directly on to your lips. The lip balm smells like the Lacto candies you might have had as a kid. I never liked those candies but I think the smell of this lip balm is in a way an improvement upon that of those candies. The consistency of the lip balm is not akin to any other lip balm, whether tinted or not, that I’ve ever used. It’s more of a gloss than a balm or at best, a cross between lip balm and a gloss. The color of the lip balm is a bubblegum pink in the tube, which, however, sheers out when applied on the lips to a transparent layer or a translucent hardly noticeable pink, if applied in a copious quantity, at least on my pigmented lips. Since the consistency of the product is a lot runnier than an average lip balm, it does not heal chapped lips or get rid of them. It does, however, provide a nice, healthy sheen to the lips, which I adore. The staying power of the lip balm is ridiculously low, but then I’ve got a habit of slathering on to my lips a luxurious dose of lip balm every hour, so that’s not an issue for me. Summing it up, this lip balm( It’s not really a lip balm!) provides a nice glossy effect to your lips. I think it’s a perfect lip product for teenagers and college goers.

Subject : Super creamy and shiny
Comment : I have used Revlon's lipsticks for years and this is my favorite one of all their formulas. If they have changed it over the years, I cannot tell the difference; it is still as good as ever. They are so smooth, creamy, silky and moisturizing without feeling waxy of greasy. They go on like a dream and they have reasonable staying power. Anything that stays on a couple of hours is good enough for me, and even when these fade they do not leave a line around the lips.(One exception, though, and that is the Black Cherry. I suspect because is it such a pigmented shade.) I would love to see more shades, something in a blue-red/ burgundy or cranberry, with a bit of shimmer. That would be the perfect shade for me. I am on the search for that and have yet to find it. Some of the pinks are just a little too pink for me. I am not too much on reds in general, but they do make a good selection if you are into a classic red look. I recently got a shade called Plumilicious and it is a nice plum/berry/cool tone with just a tiny hint of a purple. I had Plum Baby but gave it away, it was a nice plum tone but too warm for me. Berry Haute seems to be popular here, but was way too purple/pink for me. And Cherries in the Snow just went a bit more raspberry on me than cherry red. I am working on trying more of these and do hope they come out with more shades. Revlon is pretty good about keeping the tried and true favorite shades along with bringing out new ones, so that is always nice to see. They have a great selection of both creme and pearl finishes. The price is $5-6 a tube which is a steal and I love a round lipstick tube. These are so easy to use and the tube always clicks back into place. Also, no strong fragrance, basically no fragrance at all, so I love that too. Revlon is sticking with a classic and that gets my vote!

Comment : these lipsticks come in a very pretty reflective rosey silver mettalic finish tubes. I think these look absolutely fab dot com! These kind of smell a little sweet too. I mean the smell isn’t too obvious but if you get your nose real close, then you will be able to admire the scent. As the name suggests, the lipsticks have a super matte finish. At the same time, they are not overly drying either. I love the formula super much! Its smooth and soft. Glides on to the lips like silk and butter. I fell in love the first time I used these. girl I tell you! these are still one of my favourite matte lipsticks.

Comment : Light weight you would never feel that you have a concealer on. Little goes a long way. Waterproof- Apply it in morning and forget about your under eyes or blemishes showing. Do apply some powder on top to set it. Super creamy- blends like a dream. SPF-35- Protects your delicate under eye area. Opaque. On sweep of it and it shows no blemishes, pimple scares etc. on your face. Haven’t given me any break outs. Does not settle into fine lines. It’s so tiny that you would be gald to carry it around. If you have very heavy dark circles and you need a full concealing then I guess MAC Studio Finish is a better option. It conceals perfectly, brightens the under eye area, rarely cakes, easy to blend, and stays on for as long as you have it on (a good 12 hours). If there is anything to complain about, it'd be the packaging, since the jar is unhygienic, and it gets harder to get the product when you're hitting pan. Overall, a good and RELIABLE product that lasts a long time. Price point is perfect as well.

Subject : No words to say!! Amazing
Comment : The liquid foundation is very powder based which makes it a godsend for oily skin but feared by those with normal to dry skin. If you have normal skin to oily then you'll be fine with this foundation but I really wouldn't suggest it for people with dry skin as the high powder content makes it very drying. If your skin is more combination or oily with dry patches, I would recommend wearing a moisturiser underneath the Double Wear foundation, even people with oily skin who don't wear a moisturiser under their make up can benefit from a layer under their Double Wear. Again though, this is where getting a sample before hand can prove very valuable as you'll be able to tell from a few wears if this is going to be the right foundation for you. Both the liquid and powder formulas are very buildable. Both the liquid and powder contain an SPF of 10. As a general rule, if you're going to have your photograph taken then you should stay away from foundations that contain an SPF because it reflects the light from the flash and can make your face look lighter than your body. However Estee Lauder promises that Double Wear is photo friendly and since I have tested this out when having my photo taken during the day and on an evening, I can concur with this

Comment : Housed in a small gloss pot, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner has a gel-cream texture that you apply with a brush (sold separately, or you can use your own eyeliner brush). It goes on smoothly without skipping or dragging, a trait which makes lining the eyes a breeze. More to love, the formula holds up to its claims of water/sweat-resistance for worry-free wear, even during the heat and humidity of summer. Although all of the shades offer saturated pigmentation, the ones without shimmer apply the richest. The selection of shades are often changed up seasonally, but the core assortment of blacks, charcoal brown, and steely grays remain staples and are perfect! You'll notice some shades are categorized as "Double Lining" on Bobbi Brown's website, but after speaking to the brand's reps, we discovered there is nothing different about the formula. "Double lining" simply refers to a technique that Brown uses when applying a gel-cream eyeliner and then layering a powder over it to intensify and/or set the color. This is an option, but one we find superfluous given how tenacious and dramatic Brown's gel eyeliner can look on its own. In the end, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner earns accolades as an extraordinary product that not only lasts the workday through, but comes in a gorgeous assortment of colors. Thanks Bobbi!

One can just throw the product into there purse and they are good to go. The cap shuts with a click. Which is a yay from my side. I just couldn’t ask for any other better packaging than this colorbar. So overall really like the packaging. Coming on the the wear time of the colorbar perfect match primer, it totally increases the wear time of my foundation and keeps it shine free. Overall I am very impressed with the primer. It’s one of the best primer that I have ever used and totally recommend it to you beauties, specially those of you who have oily-combination skin. ITS definitely A PERFECT MATCH FOR ME (yay :))

Comment : This Lakme Loose Powder for face comes in 2 shades, one for fair skin tones and one for warm dusky wheatish skin tones. The shade SOFT PINK is for fair skin and WARM PINK is for wheatish skin. I have the one in soft pink which is little more dark pink than the warm which has a slight tint of pink to it. This Lakme Rose Loose Powder has very light to medium coverage just to give you a kind of touch up in case of emergencies or when you are in a hurry running short of time and this loose powder comes as a quick fix that time. I prefer using this in summer to keep oiliness at bay which it definitely does giving a matte finish and keeping oil at bay for few hours easily if not whole day. I totally avoid using it in winters since it tends to highlight my dry areas even more making my dry lines even more prominent.

Subject : Drugstorr stick foundation
Comment : The drugstore world is kinda lacking in foundation sticks and since they are such an easy product to use it’s nice when one is released like Revlon Photoready Insta-Fix which has a nice, easy to wear formula. I used to be a major fan of Benefit Playsticks but my skin has changed considerably and I couldn’t use them much anymore as I started to notice they’d cling to my drier areas! Sadness! Needless to say foundation sticks are just easy. They are such a no brainer swipe and blend application that needs little work to apply and use. I like lightweight coverage that’s subtle, natural, yet pigmented enough to ease dullness and brighten my skin and that’s exactly the type of coverage Revlon Photoready Insta-Fix offers. These are slightly dry so if you have oily skin you’ll get on well with them. If you’re like me, dry, you’ll want to prep up well prior to application! The formula isn’t terribly pigmented but it has enough color to hide mild redness, some darkness, perhaps light acne, and of course, dullness. I find the texture a bit on the dry side so not really creamy in the least and not as satiny or silky as Maybelline’s Fit Me Stick. The consistency is thicker than the Fit Me Stick and has a more seamless look once applied to skin. It probably makes little sense but once applied the coverage almost looks skin-like in finish. I find it brightens up my skin very nicely, eases dullness, and gives me a focused, refined finish. It’s very subtle, lightweight coverage so don’t expect an industry foundation stick here. If you already have good skin, you’ll find that the Revlon Photoready Insta-Fix will enhance your own natural skin. Coverage wear is around four hours, I haven’t been able to get it to wear longer on my skin.

Subject : Richly pigmented blush
Comment : This pressed powder blush is marvelous in every respect! Its silky-smooth texture applies easily and builds beautifully for more intensity, yet this looks great applied softly, too. The fragrance-free formula is supposed to be skin care and makeup in one (hence the "all-in-one" portion of the name) and although it contains some beneficial ingredients such as antioxidants, they cannot remain stable in this type of packaging; the routine exposure to light and air will degrade them—yet that doesn't stop this blush from earning our highest rating. Turning to the shades, you'll find every color has some amount of shine but on many it's quite subtle and not the sparkling variety (though those shades are available, too). The best shades include Macaroon, Marshmallow, Guava, and Truffle. The Rushed and Cookie shades are very shiny and best reserved for evening or special occasion makeup. The shades work best for fair to tan skin tones, but women with darker skin tones can layer for a soft wash of color.

Comment : The packaging is luxurious and it is something you want to keep staring at. The color coding adds on to the smartness of the packaging. The shade name and number is mentioned on the top of the tube. The outer paper cartons mentions all details about the product. The texture of the lip gloss is pure love. This is the most lightweight and non sticky lipgloss I have ever come across. These are the two “put off” factors for me in a lip gloss and I must admit this has surprised me pleasantly with the texture. The consistency is just right. It is neither too thick nor too runny and hence there is no bleeding or feathering whatsoever

Subject : Luxury blush
Comment : These blushes come in a luxurious looking rose gold compact . The compact contains a flat angular brush and mirror. The Lucent Magique range of products is all about subtle highlights and bringing light to the skin. Concurrent with that theme, these are highlighting blushes that contain fine shimmer that adds a soft glow to the cheeks. I like the concept of the blushes and the 3 colors in the pan do look attractive! The shimmer is very fine, non-gritty and adds a soft radiance to the skin without drawing attention to pores. Each blush contains 3 strips of coordinating colors in the same color family. The lightest shade is a pearly light shade which packs the most shimmer, the middle shade is a bit deeper with a more matte/satin finish while the last strip of color is the darkest color. The strips are too narrow to pick up individual shades and the best way to use these is to swirl a brush around to pick all 3 together and apply to the cheeks. Be careful to use a soft brush with these because the texture is soft and a scratchy brush can dislodge a lot of powder from the surface. Overall, I quite like these blushes – the packaging and the formula feels lovely and luxurious though the lighter shades could have better wear time. These are slightly expensive though at Rs 850 for 4.5 g!

Comment : The texture of the Maybelline Colossal Kajal stick is smooth and creamy. As it is creamy, it tends to break easily if pressure is applied. I recommend working with a light hand to prevent breaking of the tip. The kajal pencil glides smoothly on the upper lash line as well as the waterline. There is no tugging or pulling of the skin. The pigmentation is pretty good. However, you need to layer it at least twice or thrice to get good color pay off. I really like the color – it instantly adds brightness to my eyes. The kajal sets to a nice matte finish within a few seconds of application. It has an impressive long lasting power. It lasted on me for good 10 hours, but it doesn’t live up to the brand’s claim of 12 hours staying power. It does not bleed or crease, nor does it smudge. I noticed light smudging only after eight hours of wear time. But, I would say it will crease faster on very oily eyelids. Therefore, I recommend setting it with a matching matte black eyeshadow to prevent creasing. I did not notice any irritation, stinging, or allergy in my eyes. The kajal cannot be removed easily with just a face wash; you would definitely require a cream or oil-based makeup remover. Overall, this product turned out to be an impressive, budget-friendly buy. The only downside to the kajal is, you cannot achieve clean thin lines with it. Apart from that, the formula, color, price, and staying power turned out to be superb. It became one of the most popular kajals in India

Comment : The Lakme blushes comes in duo shades in which one shade is lighter and the other is just one shade darker and both of them can be used individually or you can apply both of them by blending them together. They give a nice peach or coral tint to your cheeks. The staying power of the blushes is good. They stays for around 5 hours without fading but I wish it stayed a little more as its going to stay much lesser during summer the summers due to the sweat and oil. I would ask Lakme to do something about the pigmentation and staying power! I hope they are listening!

Comment : the Moist Matte Lipsticks has some drop-dead gorgeous packaging. It has bold matte black body with a twist up function. Each lipstick has the signature of the fashion icon (enables you to recognize the shade) which is a sheer touch of fabulousness. the texture is soft and moist, as the name suggest and blends like a dream. It doesn’t tug or pull at all, making it the ultimate creamy indulgence. It is creamy enough without any patchy or uneven application. it is also slightly hydrated, being enriched in Jojoba Oil. the finish is like velvet matte – soft yet matte. This is the exact comfortable matte finish you have been looking for which delicate a silk touch effect. It feels light weight and classy on lips with every embracing quality. the L’Oréal La Vie En Rose Star Collection has very soft looking pinks which are bright but still slightly less pigmented as they are in bullets, except for a shade or two. It gives medium to buildable coverage with an ultra-smooth finish.

Comment : The lipstick, coming housed in a golden tube with a twist up bottom spells class. This sort of a package was something I used to drool over back then. However, L’Oreal lately has been coming up with classier packaging that has gradually helped me get over gazing at the goodies on my dresser. Yes! The lipstick looks like it really is worth the price tag from the package. The base is provided with a color coded sticker with the shade name. I generally do not store my lipsticks upside down and hence would have rather appreciated a color coded body. This anyhow is not an issue to me as I own just this shade from the range. Now, coming to the texture of this lipstick, I feel they have been wrongly categorized under Matte Mania. They feel creamy in contrary and glide on the lips with great ease. I did observe that it settles into a semi matte post long-long time once worn. Was that some sort of a clue? Yes! It indeed was! They have an amazing wear time of 6+ hours. I am totally impressed

Subject : Matte finish but drying
Comment : The lipstick comes in a black tube, it’s a basic packaging but looks nice. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom. The middle band reveals the color of the lipstick which makes it easy to spot the shade if you own quite a few shades from this range. The lipstick cap closes with a click and would not open up in the bag accidentally. This lipstick is available at $6 which is quite a good price for the quality. This range has 45 freaking shades! Can you believe it? I wish I had picked a few more from this range. The twist-up mechanism works fine hence no flaws with the packaging at all. The lipstick glides very smoothly on my lips. It does not dry out my lips at any point. The initial creamy texture helps to keep my lips hydrated, but if you have very chapped and dry lips, then you might need a lip balm beneath. The pigmentation is just amazing. The color perfectly comes out on my lips and I wish I had picked a good colour. The color stays as it is for hours. The finish is super matte, just as the name suggests. It looks very classy and rich.

Subject : Lovely liquid lipstick
Comment : The liquid lipstick comes in their signature navy blue coloured box with the shade number written over it. I wish there were some names to it because the range has a lot of shades and the number series is quite confusing. The packaging is see-through hence I can see the shade and it also mentions the shade number at the bottom of the plastic bottle. It is very compact thus easy to carry around. The wand is designed perfectly and ensures great and smooth application The consistency is very smooth and perfect to be called a liquid lipstick. It looks velvety matte initially when applied. It does dry up pretty quickly hence I need to be careful while application because the lip-colours that I picked are quite bold and hence form a lip shape. So a mistake during application might change the shape of my lip. The pigmentation is more than amazing. The colour appears bold in the very first swipe which is indeed great to cover pigmentation. But I apply 2 coats to make it even and more intense. The finish is ultra matte which looks extremely gorgeous. This range is a must try for matte lovers. I am in love with the finish because it looks very elegant and classy.

Subject : Revamped the old ones
Comment : The Infallible lipsticks used to come in a rather drab looking packaging but the new packaging is quite attractive with the black body and tinted caps. The colored caps makes it easy to locate shades. The Infallible lipsticks have a smooth, easy-glide formula that is packed with pigment and quite long lasting. I find the texture softer and creamier than the old Infallible lipsticks. They apply with a creamy finish that gets more matte as time passes. The lipsticks are full coverage and stay on really well even through meals. These are fairly comfortable considering they are matte, long stay lipsticks but you do need to prep and moisturize your lips prior to application. If you have chapped lips, this will highlight the dry bits so make sure to exfoliate. These stain quite heavily so the color stays on the lips for a long time. After a few hours the lips might feel a little dry but it doesn’t show. I was quite pleased with the fact that these did not emphasize lip lines (a common problem I face with matte lipsticks) or make the lips look dry. The shade range is similar to the old range, the shade names are the same as well but I spotted some new colors in this launch. The 6 shades I have swatched in this post are a mix of bright and deep colors. I love how rich and pigmented each of these are. Scroll down below to see each of the 6 shades on me. If you are on the lookout for lipsticks that deliver intense long lasting color, do check these out! The only downside is the price point; at Rs 990 apiece, these are a bit heavy on the pocket

I searched the drugstore stores and came out so confused as there are more than 1000 products and what if I ended up buying a wrong one. Then I got to get this L’Oreal Matte Morphose Foundation. Soufflé is nothing but a French dessert which is light and fluffy. The texture of this is just like that. It is so soft, smooth and blends without any efforts. Comment : I really like this foundation. I typically use Makeup Forever HD stick which I do love, but being so very pigmented it can take work to use only what one needs and not more than that, so it takes time to lovingly pat the stick with my Beauty Blender to get just the right amount of product, I feel that in the time it takes to apply the stick foundation on the sponge I can apply this Dream Velvet foundation to my entire face. The coverage is very good but truth be told I don't have a lot of skin issues and do well with a "your skin but better" coverage so milage may vary. Having said this I don't feel the need to use a lot of concealer under the eyes or around the nose, maybe just a little. Those who really want a matte look may be disappointed as my skin still looks dewy which I prefer and I typically stay away from "matte" foundations but this looks matte not from a powdery finish but with the use of silicone that leaves a suede like texture which I really like.

Comment : I can say that there is some great pigmentation with these blushes but they still apply and can be blended out very easily. And don't be afraid by the darker shades in the palette. Just use a very light hand and use the buffing technique (buffing out with a powder) to leave just a sheer wash of colour on your cheeks. There are only 2 shades (the ones in the bottom right) that are remotely similar so this palette will be great for travelling. Blushes add soo much glam to your overall look. This palette is perfect!!! I love it

They have launched some really good stuff, like their nudes eye shadow palette and the fit me makeup range. Their latest launch is their lip gradation by colorsensational! Abroad it’s known as colour blur! I have all 8 shades. Will review them all. It is a slender stick, It is a double sided lip product! On the retractable side is the actual product it doesn’t need to be sharpened and I find it easy to use, it is slender enough to line my lips very nicely in the inner corners and the cupid’s bow and the other side has the cushion blender tool. This tool is used to smudge the product on your lips to create a softer look. It is very sturdy and travel friendly. The lip gradation lipstick is quite pigmented just one swipe on your lips and you are good to go. It is very creamy and glides on very easily on your lips. It is a matte lipstick so it has no shine whatsoever. It does not settle in the lip lines. It feels very soft and very comfortable on the lips. Maybelline colorsensational lip gradation Doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and it is not very drying. The lasting power of colorsensational lip gradation is also pretty good. It will last you a good 3-4 hours with light meals. It has no fragrance

Comment : It is a hydrating lip balm with a slight sheer tint. Benefit promotes them as a sheer lip balm with a conditioning formula that can be worn under your favorite lipstick or on their own as a hydrating, slightly tinted balm. Benefit did such a great job with these. First off the packaging is adorable. Each lip balm comes housed in a nice weight mirrored tube featuring a design inspired by their powder blush sister’s packaging. They are a nice size tube and quite pretty and cute to look at. I put a good deal of importance on packaging myself and I think Benefit did a very nice job here! They do market them as a “fruity” flavored lip balm but they actually taste and smell like the old Benefit Benetint Lip Balm which had a rose flavor and fragrance! It’s very subtle but it is there for those sensitive to fragrance in their lip balms. I like it but others might not

As far as I can tell, it’s permanent. The entire palette smells like sweet cocoa when you open it. The quality varies from shade to shade, with some being beautifully rich in pigment and soft, buttery, and dense in texture, and then there are a couple of misses that are rather powdery, sheer, or a combination of the two. Overall, the palette is more of an adventure in darker, smokier neutrals with a couple of curve balls (pale pink, deep purple), so depending on your stash of neutral palettes, this may be superfluous. Most of the eyeshadows wore well for around eight hours, with some of the powdery ones fading sooner. One thing I wish Too Faced would change about how they do their palettes is either include truly, all-brand-new shades or not be afraid to include a shade from a previous release.

Comment : . It applies very smooth and the color is extremely black, which I like. The applicator is good, although I would have preferred a more precise tip. The one I have is the super liner black lacquer in the waterproof formula. it was 12 euros which I find a little bit expensive for drugstore, but the actual product is worth it and it isn't the 20 euros you have to pay for the kat von d one. The only thing is that it has a glossy finish, so if you prefer a more matte finish this one isn't for you

Comment : The L’Oréal Super Liner Gel Intenza comes in a classic glass jar with White-Gold lid and detailing. Nothing really to hate on here. I absolutely love the White-Gold lid as it just adds the tiniest bit of extra glamour. It also makes a somewhat cheaper product look and feel a lot more high-end, which is really nice. The liner is very richly pigmented, and I find it to look a lot deeper than MAC’s Blacktrack. Formula wise the L’Oréal liner is very smooth and creamy. It applies like Black butter and is very easy to work with. Longevity wise this baby stays on like no other.I’m having some really good feelings about this one. The liner is insanely pigmented, buttery and smooth and stays on like a champ

Comment : With a formulation that lies between the comfort of a cream and the ease of application of a powder, Infallible eyeshadow contains an exceptionally high proportion of binders (oils) for the softest, most velvety eyeshadow. The eyeshadow melts gently from the fingertips to the eyelid on application. The result is a rich and satiny look. These eye shadow monos come in a unique packaging. The product is contained in a transparent plastic packaging and has a black plastic separator inside (apart from the outer screw on lid). The packaging is not as easy to use as a regular pan packaging where you can just flip open the lid and dab the product on the eyes but I can ignore that part as the product formula itself is really good. There are some really good things about the packaging like the colored lid and the transparent bottom which makes it easy to locate shades if you own many. The packaging does not come with an applicator or a mirror. The eye shadow is not in loose powder form but its not very strongly bound like pressed eye shadows either. It appears like loose powder pressed together without a binder and hence if you accidentally drop the eye shadow, it will result in broken clusters of loose powder. It happened with me but thankfully it is easy to restore the product. Just scoop the spilled powder back into the container and press it with the black plastic separator. Coming to the formula of the product ~ The eye shadow is very soft and pigmented, it applies smoothly though there may be a little bit of fall out. It does not feel very finely milled and there is a slight aggregation between the powder particles but it is not difficult to work with. I just mentioned it because its something I notice when I use it. The best brush to use with this kind of texture is a soft, dense brush as it will pick up the product best. It blends like a dream and stays put for about 11-12 hours on my oily lids without a primer which is simply fabulous! Only the creasing begins after about 12 hours but the shadow stays beyond it too. It the longest wearing eye shadow I have tried, beating MAC too which wears about 7-8 hours on my lids without a primer. For me, the ultimate deciding factor is always the wear time and if an eye shadow is soft, finely milled and pigmented but does not wear well, it is a deal breaker! Price is 450 INR

Comment : BUY IT WHAT IT IS A dramatic mascara HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS: The formula goes on very wet but dries quickly and creates a feathery effect. Though it contains lengthening fibers, they don't fall off into your eyeballs, meaning this mascara is safe for even those who wear contacts or have sensitive eyes. WHY WE LIKE IT: Not only does this formula never seem to dry out or start to clump the way even our former favorites have after a month of opening and closing, dip after dozens of dips; the cool, oddball brush allows you to both deposit a ton of pigment and then smooth it out perfectly. Allow us to explain: The brush is definitely funky and took some getting used to. We'll save you the trouble of figuring it out with a lesson on how to use it. (Or at least the method that worked best for our editors.) First, take a close look and you'll see that this brush is not round, or even oval. It's flat—almost shaped like a spearhead. Weird. Why? We found that the two really flat sides with the supershort bristles are great at depositing a boatload of pigment at the base of our lashes. Then we switch to one of the sides with the much longer bristles to spread that pigment up and out along our lashes for great separation and lengthening. This formula isn't about big, thick lashes. But if you're looking to coat every single little lash you have, and make them as long as possible without looking creepy and spidery, then this is your stuff.

Subject : Opaque coverage
Comment : First up, this product is NOT a liquid lipstick, it's a liquid cream lipstick, a stark difference as this lip product transfers on everything, and I mean everything. It applies like a liquid lipstick though and "dries" matte. I quote dry because it never really dries down. It feels slightly sticky the entire wear time, which might annoy me if I were planning to wear this on it's own. It also has a tendency to define the lines in your lips. But the reason I wanted to buy/try out this product is one of it's pros. This product is opaque as hell. With just a couple careful swipes (You don't want mess up the application of this product) you can get a fully opaque color with none of your lip color showing through. Way better coverage than a normal cream lipstick. But because of the opaqueness, you can end up applying too much on, that can glob up as you talk, so go light on the application. It will still be as opaque. As this product is not a liquid lipstick, you can't expect it to last all day. On an average work day, with a topper (lipgloss or another lipstick or chapstick) this lasts about 4-6 ish hours, leaving me the dreaded lipstick liner look that most of us are already familiar with. For the opacity of this product, I don't mind reapplying, but because it transfers so easily, don't be alarmed if you find it in places you don't expect. Surprisingly it is waterproof, even if water isn't really the enemy. It's more likely to transfer onto a straw than get swept away with water

Subject : Great for everyday contouring
Comment : NYX came out with an awesome product a few years ago that I had never tried and since I learned how to contour I wanted to pick it up. It is called the Wonder Stick and it is a dual-ended highlight and contour stick that is great for every day but would be really awesome for travel too. The Wonder Stick comes in 4 different shades, light, medium, dark, and universal. According to NYX’s website, light is a neutral/taupe, medium is a light with pink undertones along with a yellow brown with slightly red undertones, deep is a medium beige with slightly yellow undertones accompanied by a brown with yellow and slight red undertones, and last but not least universal is a light neutral with shimmer and a yellow brown with slight red undertones. Universal is the only one where the highlight has some sort of shimmer to it, the other three highlights are all matte. Universal is also supposed to be the one that works the best with any skintone The stick itself is very easy to use and I think it is a great product for beginners. It’s very creamy and easy to blend and if you know anything about highlighting and contouring then you know the key to using cream products is to blend blend blend and of course setting it is always a good thing too! That’s another thing I wanted to mention. I’ve read a lot of people have issues with this product lasting all day and my question for those people is, do you set this product with a powder? I always always always set cream products with a powder and this is no exception. Once I apply the product and get it blended out, I go over the highlight with a translucent powder to set it and I go over the contour with another contour powder to set that. I also spray my face with a setting spray once all of my makeup is complete and I’ve never had a problem with this breaking down or wearing off throughout the day.

Comment : The bronzer comes in 3 shades and contains .33 oz of the product and a little does go a long way! Some of the main ingredients in this bronzer are : Talc, Mica, Mineral Oiul, Zinc Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Silica. It is cruelty free, hypoallergenic and lead free There are more things that I dislike about this bronzer more than I like. The first thing that I totally dislike about this is that the color is very unnatural. It looks really red (on pale skin) and orange( when you put it on darker skin). When I had tried putting it on my friend who has a bit more darker skin tone, it didn’t look as red but it did look more orange and it still looked very unnatural. Also, it wears off so easily. I had tried to see how long it would last on my skin so I had timed how long it stayed. Two hours after I had applied the bronzer it had already almost faded away. After four hours it had completely faded away. If I decide to wear this , I have to take it in my purse to re-touch it every few hours! Also, when I applied it, my family was like it kind of looked like I put red mud on my face. I was not happy hearing that.

Subject : Average coverage
Comment : The consistency of F&B is downright odd. Let me first say that I pride myself on my ability to wrap my head around tricky textures (and sometimes shitty textures) so I was surprised that I encountered a fair amount of trial and error. It is water based so straight out of the bottle, the consistency is very liquid but you have a window of 30 seconds before the product starts to set, leaving you with a grippy/rubbery/sticky dilemma. Once you’ve conquered the application, MAC F&B is a beautiful product. I prefer it applied lightly for sheer coverage but you can let it set and apply another thin layer for medium coverage. Full coverage would be a stretch, I don’t think the good people at MAC created it for that purpose. The effect is ultra natural; this is the foundation to fool your family and friends, the pigment is oh-so-fine and utterly undetectable. The only aspect that might give it away is the sheen, F&B is definitely on the dewy spectrum so I like to set with a powder, MAC Mineralized Skinfinish in Natural bumps up the coverage a tad but I actually prefer SUQQU Loose Powder to tone down the tackiness for a soft, diffused finish.

Subject : Shade ivory
Comment : I have been combing through various foundations to find one that has a great matte lasting power, where it feels light on my face and doesn't run off by the end of the day. For me, this is a hit and miss in some areas. Coverage- This is a sheer, light coverage, but it can be built up to an extent without looking too caked on. I usually use a stippling brush with it, because I find if I make any sort of circular motions with this product, it tends to streak. The finish depends entirely on how many layers you've put on, with the bare minimum it creates a similar dewy effect to Urban Decay's Naked, but it becomes more on the matte looking side if you've added another layer or two. Color- At first I was a little put off by the color. I tried to get in the lightest shade to match my paler tone, but it appears to be a rather yellow color. Once blended on the face however, it wasn't entirely horrible, but I think it oxidizes to a more warm, orange-like tone after a few hours, so it's not the most ideal color for pale skin, but if you have warmer undertones, you can probably get away with it, especially if you add a lighter concealer. Irritations- My skin is usually very sensitive to most products, and with this it seems to do fine, there are no breakouts with it or more oily skin than usual as a result.

Comment : This Maybelline lip smooth color bloom comes in a slim twist up peachy colored tube. I love the packaging. This can be kept in the bag also so that we can use this when we want. I still remember when we were going out on a trip. Then I was in college so, I don’t use to use too many makeup products. Thus, I took this with me and apply this when I wanted my lips to look peachy pink. I just love natural looking lip color. If you will see the bullet of this Maybelline lip smooth color bloom. This is a light yellowish in color. This comes enclosed in carton, just like our Maybelline baby lips comes. This does not have too much fragrance and when I apply this, it gives a soft peachy color within 1-2 minutes. I loved that the color looks so natural and as if I have the same natural colored lips. Well, my lips have no color at all. Now you must be thinking what that is? Actually some people have dark lip color like brownish and some have pink, red etc. but I have seen that my lips do not have any color at all. They can be very slightly pink. But when I wash my face and I have no lipsticks etc on my lips, my lips look pale like my skin. So, this is why I like colored lip balms and lipsticks as they can brighten my face by giving some color to the lips

Subject : Good liner in budget -beige pink
Comment : This lip liner comes in a pencil form that needs to be sharpened once the tip becomes flat. The bottom end of the liner is color coded, so is of the same color as the tip itself. The front is covered with a transparent plastic cap that seems fragile. I have used such pencils before, and they need to be dealt/stored with care. You cannot just allow them to find a place for themselves in vanity boxes. They need to be properly placed for the sake of keeping it intact. It has creamy texture, which means it easily glides on to the lips without any crumbling. This beige pink shade is exactly what I had been looking for. It has slight hint of pink in it but it is quite subtle and comes super natural on my lips. totally love this shade and wear it often. Because of the neutrality, it can be worn in various ways. I wear it alone (without any lipstick or lip gloss), and it does not make my lips look or feel dry. I know it sounds absurd but trust me it really shows up well. The only thing I take care of while applying it alone is to exfoliate my lips. After exfoliation, it glides even better and gives them a natural look.

Comment : Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara comes in a sturdy and simple black packaging of plastic fiber made-up with screw in eye lash brush applicator. The long brush applicator is made up of good fiber plastic and brush has thick volume to dig out good amount of mascara to apply on the eye lashes to add thickness and volume to the lashes. LAKME Absolute Flutter Secrets Dynamic Eyes Mascara doesn’t get spread or smudge and stays for quite a long time. I was told it is fully water proof so it will not smudge if water is applied on the lashes but I found it to be partially water proof actually. Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara got washed off with water after little efforts. So I will not consider it a fully water proof still a good mascara with great volume on the eyes giving an illusion of fake, long beautiful eye lashes. Overall Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara is very good mascara but I feel that the price could have been little bit lesser. At the cost of Rs. 675/- I think it’s a bit over priced compared to its quality and after effects if I take water proof factor in to consideration. Rest it is one of the best mascara I have used till date. A deep black finish with volume, it is an ideal mascara

Subject : Good option for 995/-
Comment : was very excited for this because its the first time Lakme has done a palette and gone beyond the duo/trio/quads most brands do. These come in a rectangular compact, contain 6 shades and are available in two variants – Gold and Silver. While these eye shadows are workable and have decent color pay off, they are not as soft and buttery as I would like. Most shades in the Gold palette are slightly stiff in texture, need to be layered a bit to show well and have a matte/satin finish with barely-there shimmer. On the upside, if you’re new to wearing eye shadow, you can’t go wrong with these because they don’t deposit too much color on the skin in a single swipe and the colors are quite soft. You can do a nice neutral look with these but I personally feel the quality could have been a little better in terms of texture and color pay off. I would have also loved to see a little more variety in terms of finish. I think the palette is a bit monotonous with the satiny shades and needed a few shimmery colors for variety. The one thing I cannot fault though is the wear time. They stay put for nearly 8 hours with minimal creasing and fading!

Subject : Using since years
Comment : Be it one shade or 3 shades; light colored paint or the dark-hued one, it wipes off clearly and effortlessly every bit of nail paint from the nail-bed and that from the cuticles too. You need not even put any extra effort for rubbing. Just a swipe of cotton over the nails works out so very perfectly well. There is no white caste on the finger beds after its use, as was the case in most of other removers that I had tried in the past. Enriched with Vitamin E, it gives my nails the care of an expert, preventing dryness in and around it. Having used it for years together, I even have developed a liking for its fragrance. There is no odd sensation after its usage. It fully justifies itself.

Comment : I was impressed by this gimmicky product promos on the TV as well as print ads. So, I ordered this with a couple of other things. There are two textures of blue eyeshadow and glitter in this package. The eyeshadow is creamy, metallic cobalt blue and this is unique in itself as no primer is required to apply this and this has to be applied with the wand provided that sets after a few seconds. The good thing stops here as this starts to crack and crease like crazy! I have tried blending with my fingers and also once with a primer, but things didn’t change much. The glitter part is horrific as it has the exact texture and look of “glitter glue”. The applicator is another story! ???? What a shame from Revlon! This product gets big thumbs down from me.

This launch from maybelline is a total game changer. Now everyone can use the stick foundation. The packaging is totally awesome and travel friendly. The roll on stick is not messy at all. It gives a decent medium coverage. The texture is creamy and not cakey. Its good for people with oily skin like me. The price is INR 550 which makes it in budget and you get decent amount of product as well. I find it totally worth. I did use a primer and a setting powder. And it lasted for good 8-9 hours in humid weather.

Comment : This pallete gives a nice bronze glow to the skin. This pallete can be used as highlighter, eye shadow, brow highlighter. I love the different colored strips. The texture of the shades is very soft. They fall out a little but very less chalky. They are super pigmented and only a little product is required. The colors make for a great bronzer. The staying power is super long even on a simple base.Remember the finish is shiny, it will reflect light and enhance pores so use it sparingly. All the colors are lovely and versatile. I recommend this product for everyday use.

Even while travelling removing makeup and let skin breathe is very important. And colorbar makeup remover wipes come to rescue. The packaging is so girly. They come in bright pink pack with a flip top to help wipes retain moisture. The sheets are big enough to remove the makeup of the entire face. The wipes are very soft on skin. And takes out all makeup. Bit if you are wearing waterproof makeup like mascara and lipstick you may need two! They are priced for INR 400 for 30 wipes which may be a bit expensive.

The packaging is quite sturdy. It is made up of thick plastic which makes it travel friendly. The texture is like a cleansing milk but thicker consistency. It is not heavy like a balm. A little amount is sufficient for full face. There is a mild smell whoch goes of after wiping. Coming to its effectiveness. It does removes base makeup well. But it does not work proper for waterproof makeup. So in that price you get other better waterproof makeup removers like loreal.

Comment : At first I was excited to see corbar launching makeup removers for all skin types. But there effectivenes was quite average. I tried this one for all skin types sometime back. The packaging is good and travel friendly. The tight cap ensures it does not leak at all while travelling but sometims when you are laid back opening it was a pain. The remover itself is a biphase one wherein it has to be shaken well to mix both the components together .It claims to have tea tree oil in it ,but if you look at the ingredients list,Tea Tree oil is the second last ingredient.meaning it has very little of it. You have to saturatr cotton in it to remove makeup. It does remove waterproof makeup completely. But it leaves a oily residue on skin which means you have to wash your face for sure. And last always hurt my eyes. My eyes used to be red after hours of usage. So that was a big con for me.

The plastic is hard enough to carry it. It retails for INR 699 for 90 ml. You do get other brands at same price but this one had sensitive skin mentioned. It cleans the skin perfectly with no oily residue. It does not irritate the eyes also. Only small amount is required to clean full face. I have been liking this remover a lot. The faint smell os also not bothersome.

Product is available in four different shades. Packaging comes in silver colour. The soft sponge makes it easy to apply on cheeks but it is unhygenic. I prefer using brush more. That was a close match. This compact has one of the best formula. The texture is super silky and its highly blendable. In just one swipe it gets blend. It hides the pores also . I have oily skin and it mattifies my skin well. It does not lokk chalky at all. One swipe gives good medium coverage and you can build yp in 2 swipes. It controls oil well and i sweat less after wearing it. So its perfect for humid summer days.

Comment : When i first heard about this creme compact from lakme I was very thrilled to use. And bought inmediately (around 8 years back). But i was really disappointed after the very first application. I thought it will work as compact + foundation. Lakme claimed that you need to wet the applicator given along to use it as a foundation. And can use as a compact if used with dry applicator. But it is not a compact at all. You cannot use it for setting. On a hot humid day it melts like a nightmare. The texture is creamy bot powdery. Packaging is beautiful and travel friendly.

I bought it for a special occassion for day time wear .The texture of this foundation is mousse-like, similar to a foamy shaving cream. You have to shake the bottle and press the nozzle. The mousse was actually very light weight which became runny after bubbles popped. I applied it using brush. It gives a light to medium finish and then you can build more. The staying power is great because in the 8-9 hours that I was out, only once I had to dab on with a tissue. It gives light to medium coverage with due look. I always used primer, setting powder and setting spray. The packaging is nice and dispeser is hygenic.

A very thick glass botle with a spatula attached on the cap. The consistency is runny but the foundation is very blendable. It is really smooth and not thick in texture at all. It has light yellow undertones, which is really perfect for Indian skin tones . It gives a dewy finish. But wear time is less just 2-3 hours with light coverage.

Comment : Colorbar all matte eye liner is a daily wearble eyeliner. It gives a beautiful matte finish. The packaging is just like standard maybelline liner packing. With a long screw cap wand and a small container. The consistency of the liner is quite watery but it dries out instantly to give a complete matte finish. The bought the shade green which is quite beautiful. It dries into a olive green shade and is very pigmented. A single swipe gives a opaque finish and i love it. The wand is perfect to draw thick and thin line. The liner is not waterproof. And wears off when it comes in contact with water. It stays well on oily lids as well. Its smudgeproof. The price is INR 700.

Comment : The packaging is simple and super classy, with a matte-beige colored outer case. The compact comes with a full-sized mirror. It is very convenient to carry around and the mirror helps for touch ups. The sponge provided seems good, but I cannot get to work well with it and it is not of much use to me. I chose the shade “Beige” that I felt would match my fair skin tone among the other shades that were available. I must say the shade selection is not very impressive and would not match a lot of Indian skin tones. My shade doesn’t look very much like what it looks in the pan. Upon application, it looks very cakey and gives a patchy finish. I cannot say that it is satiny smooth, but it is quite smooth, but not up to my satisfaction. It is supposedly a two-way cake, but I do not think it works in the wet form at all. It gives coverage to blemishes to an extent, but its biggest flaw is that it looks very cakey on me. I guess the shade I got is wrong for me. A little amount will go a long way, and applying too much will leave a whitish cast. The texture is a boon to oily skinned beauties as it controls oil well for 3+ hours. It does clog up the pores. My sister likes it better and it suits her skin well. This compact looks very cakey on me and tends to highlight dry patches, so it will not suit dry skinned beauties that well.

Comment : I was actually quite impressed with the brush. It's thin and narrow enough to achieve a nice, sharp line, and the bristles are soft, not rough like some other "comes with the product" brushes. The only complaint I have about this brush is that I'm already starting to see it shed after just a few weeks of use. The shedding is not major, but I've noticed about five stray bristles so far. The thing that surprised me the most was how small the pot of liner actually is. It looked like it was going to be larger, judging from how it appears with the lid screwed on. I own several gel and creme liners and I must say that I've never seen a pot with an opening this small before. It took some time to get used to because it's a tiny bit difficult for me to see the surface of the product when I'm dipping the brush into it. Another surprise was that this liner actually contains silver sparkle. I wasn't expecting that, but it's certainly not a deal-breaker for me (although I want you to be aware of it, of course). this liner is not big on pigmentation. It IS easily buildable though. However, if you're a gel liner pro and you love intensely pigmented liners that don't require you to go back over your lines, this one's probably not for you. I can go about 5-6 hours before I start to see light fading and slight creasing near the outside corners of my eyes. After about eight hours, I find that the color of this product has noticably faded on my eyes, but I do have extremely oily lids.

Subject : Shade 053
Comment : This dual purpose powder foundation can be used dry for light coverage and wet for heavy coverage, and as your main base or for touch-ups. It promises to deliver a matte finish and conditions skin with plant- derived oil ingredients, and comes in 9 shades. 052 is a warm beige shade with an Olive undertone-this is the darkest shade that we have locally and I find it a tad bit light for me, but manageable. Shade selection of this product is not impressive though as the shades don't have a progression-it's like one shade is too light and the next one is too dark already, plus the undertones for the shades are either in pink or olive. Texture is smooth and semi- creamy, and finish is semi- matte. It is unscented and looks good whether applied using a powder brush or sponge-quality of this powder is comparable to MAC's Studio Fix Powder Foundation. When applied dry, this product yields light to medium coverage. That said, if you have really dark marks on your skin, you will need to use it with a concealer.

Subject : Variety of shades
Comment : With so many shades to choose from, there’s one for every mood and occasion. Dazzling reds to pretty pinks, electric blues, pastel mauves and tangy oranges. These nail paints come across in cute round pots with black screw cap on which has the picture of the Elle 18 girl logo. The bottles are of glass yet they are sturdy enough to survive travelling. They take around a minute to dry which is normal. The application brush is of nice quality as against the price charged. The color glides on easily with the brush. In most of the shades one coat may do, but I prefer double coats for all my nail paints. The nail paints are pigmented enough and have a fine texture. The paint is neither very thick nor too runny. Shaking the bottle well before application is the trick here; otherwise the oily runny part of the content will be picked up. They last pretty well and I happy with what I got for the price I paid.

Comment : As soon as I heard of this new launch, I ran to Lifestyle to purchase this amazing kohl. 3 new shades *wohoo* I chose to purchase the kajal in Jewelled Jade shade as I’m soon going to run out of my blue eye liner. Although, when I purchased it; what surprised me was that this new launch doesn’t come in a cardboard outer packaging much like the other shades. Bad cost cutting idea I would say. This will deprive the customers of information like ingredients, claims etc. The packaging is the same as every other Maybelline colossal kajal. No innovation here. Except for the brand name, product name and shade name, nothing else is mentioned on the stick. The cap shuts with a click which will allow the product to survive travelling. ‘Jewelled Jade’ is a peacock blue color with shimmer in it. The shimmer is the part of its texture and therefore it’s only visible from near otherwise it shines when seen from far away. The shimmer doesn’t hurt the eyes or anything. The texture is moderately smooth but the pigmentation is low. A few swipes are required to build desired color and shine. A light hand at application is needed because it has a delicate tip which is brittle. Retractable and twist liners and kajals are better than the sharpening ones as it saves us from product wastage. The stay time is fine too. It stays on for nearly 5 hours after which it starts to fade. It is a smudge-proof kajal which steals the brownie points! It can be worn either way, on the top lash line or the lower lash line. Either way it looks beautiful. All in all, it’s a nice beautiful shade that will suit all skin tones and the color intensity can be controlled too.

Comment : Firstly the foundation is pretty expensive, I mean anyone would only buy this Amway foundation at Rs 1399/-only i f specific benefit is attached to it. Like in my case i went for this foundation because the claims were really high & secondly the agent from whom i bought assured me that Amway products are best for most sensitive skin even ( I have one ) & if in case any of the products don't suit you , you can return them back within a specific time. So I thought at least i should give a try to this Artistry Self Defining Sheer Foundation at least once. The foundation is little more liquid then other liquid foundations, definitely take care while taking out. On application, the foundation blends easily, it doesn't look cakey or powdery, just glides easily. But it don't do much in covering acne scars or any other marks or even pores on skin, The foundation just provides very light coverage required to hide minute flaws, like one can say its a good foundation to add little glow on face & make it little bright. It wont work on specific isuues like covering acne or scars. But one good thing it does is that it keeps my dry skin hydrated for long time without breaking on my acne prone skin. I surely felt it reduced my laugh line little bit & also helped in collagen building. I dont know if it really did this.(it dosent even claim that collagen part) ,but i felt this.

Comment : This product comes housed in a black glossy paper box with all the product info. The product is housed in a matte black compact case. It is solid, secure and durable and travel appropriate. It has an under side mirror which makes application easy even when travelling. The packaging is well thought and comes with a sponge of its own. In order to use the sponge wet, the base has little openings to let the sponge dry and keep it smell free. The white sponge tends to get dirty and I have washed it a couple of times. It has a buttery soft creamy texture all in one face makeup which claims to work as foundation, concelaer and compact. I have combination skin and it didn’t let my skin feel oily or shiny. On application it dries up and settles on the skin as second skin. I put t over a moisturized face to avoid any dryness and blotchy appearance. It blends very well and quick on a moist/moisturized skin when compared to a foundation. It gives a matte finish without any oiliness and feels like 2nd skin. I love the no makeup look it gives me. It is a sheer to medium coverage face makeup; it cannot give you full coverage no matter how much you layer it. The name doesn’t fulfill the full coverage claim. It cannot stand as a concealer, as the coverage is not that satisfactory. I need a separate concealer to cover my dark circles. It stays oil free upto 5 hours after which it becomes a bit oily. If you set it with a separate powder it will be stay matte for longer.

The Maybelline Color Show lipstick range has lip colors in four stunning hues – reds, pinks, browns and mauves. Offering 27 shades, this lip color range has a lipstick for every mood! I have many shades from this range.

Comment : Each of these lip contours retail for $19. These are called ‘lip contour’ but they are essentially just lip liners that are extremely pigmented, creamy and long lasting. Think of these as liquid lipstick, but in a lip liner form. You can use them in combination with one another to ‘contour’ your lips or you can use them in combination with lipsticks/lipglosses to make your lip color last longer. The three colors I picked out were neutrals, because I knew I would wear them a lot more than bright/bold colors. Here is a quick breakdown of the three colors I picked out: Bombshell: A gorgeous nude/pink that is going to be a perfect nude for someone who is lighter than me. I feel like it washes me out a bit, but it is still very pretty! Icon: The perfect way to wear color on a daily basis without being too bright. Icon is a stunning mix of red/brown and I love it the most out of the 3 colors I purchased. Trendsetter: The trendy 90’s nude/brown that everyone is currently obsessed with! Such a gorgeous shade that will flatter all skin tones, but will look different on every skin. Overall, I love the new Huda Beauty lip contours and highly recommend them if you are looking for a long lasting lipliner, which doubles as a long lasting lipstick

Comment : The foundation comes in a transparent glass bottle with a rose gold colored cap. The bottle has a pump on the top which actually makes the foundation easier and hygienic to use. Pump dispenser makes sure that only the required amount of product is released. The bottle itself is securely packed inside a pink colored box. The packaging is appealing but I won’t say that it is travel friendly as the bottle is made of glass and it is risky to travel with a glass bottle The foundation is available in just 3 color options and this is the biggest minus point of this. The shade I have selected for myself is Marble which is a little light for me. But thankfully it does not look too bad and I can work with it. The company claims this to be a long wearing foundation and it is true to its claims. The foundation stayed on me for a good 7 hours and even after 7 hours my skin was looking fresh and neat.

Comment : Starting off with the packaging, it is lovely to say the least. There is something very appealing about the way the pan looks. It comes in an outer silver paper carton packaging which has all the information about the product. There are 3 shades packed in one which is good and bad at the same time. Good because you get options and the liberty of mixing and matching and bad because the placement of the shades require special attention while working with. The texture of the blush is smooth and it glides easily both on bare skin and over base makeup. It shows up like crazy on the skin, thanks to the unbelievable pigmentation of the blush. It blends easily on the skin without much effort. One swipe gives enough color on the cheeks so it is advisable to go slow with this, you can always build up the color. There is no chalky feel to the blush; it is easy to work with and does not form up powder-layer on the pan like most blushes. Less is more with this blush, so it is going to last very long.

Subject : Shade pink
Comment : The Maybelline contouring blush comes in a compact black rectangular pan. It has a V-shape over it and I can see all three shades through that little window. The pan opens and closes with a click and the powder doesn’t crack up even if I drop the palette. The pan carries the instructions nicely written over the back clearly mentioning where to apply each shade. This is an affordable palette and it’s a 3-in-1 product. This palette also comes with a little brush which works fine. “Pink” is a nice soft pink shade that gives a nice rosy glow on the cheeks. The shade does not look chalky or powdery. It goes super smooth on the skin and blends well too. The lightest shade is used for highlighting and it does work very well. It highlights the facial features revealing a natural glow.. The blush warms up my cheeks and this shade will suit almost all the skin tones. The last brown shade can be used for contouring. It is a light brown shade that gives me perfectly sculpted cheeks and defined jawline, nose and forehead area. The pigmentation is good as the shades show up well, but I wish they were a little more pigmented. Staying power is around 4 hours on its own without a base and 1-2 hours more with a good foundation beneath. It loses the colour as time passes by but the touch-up is very easy too!

Comment : This is the only liquid lipstick formula I enjoy wearing. It feels like nothing on the lips and doe not dry them out either. I have mine in a bright red shade and it is super opaque and pigmented. It applies evenly and does not have any particular scent. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about those, great color payoff, easy application with the oval applicator, great staying power and beautiful matte finish! PROS: - Matte finish, does not transfer - No chemical scent - Longevity - Pigmentation is great - Easy to apply CONS: NONE

Subject : Expensive balm
Comment : I really like the packaging. It's sleek, modern and decidedly Bobbi Brown - I love her crest motif!! The top is a twist off, and the container carries a fair amount of product for a more expensive balm. The color is a soft pink in the pot, but does not impart any color on the lips. This has a very nice, thicker consistency that stays put all night and for several hours during the day. The texture is nice and non-greasy, I also really appreciate the fact that this has SPF - very handy for the upcoming Summer months. Packaging, consistency/texture and staying power...that's all I liked. The very important stuff - moisture/hydration, soothing feel - it lacked sorely. I don't feel this balm added any moisture to my lips. Instead, it sat on top and only sealed in what moisture was already there. If applied when my lips were damp, I would wake up with flakes. If I applied it when my lips were dry I was left with strange white marks where it looked as though someone had taken a vacuum and sucked every bit of moisture they could, and left me with Death Valley. With this feeling it could hardly feel even remotely soothing. Will I be repurchasing? No

Comment : You can have tons of fun with these shadows — super shimmery glitter-fests and high-shine foiled effects — but in order to go buck wild, I think it helps to know how to work ’em; otherwise, frustration could ensue. On that note, when working with these, here are some things to keep in mind… 1. Use a creamy base Whatever you do, don’t even think about applying these on dry skin like a traditional eyeshadow. Please! You’ll get glitter all over the place (read: fallout city) and won’t get the best pigment payoff. I get my best results when I layer these Dazzleshadows on top of a creamy, wet base, because they love to latch onto something.

Comment : The product comes in a typical MAC blush-like round packaging – no mirror or applicator. However, the box is smaller than a regular blush since the content is less. It’s simple, straightforward and convenient but not breaking any design barriers. Easy to use, easy to carry with you. Off late, I’m obsessed with the brightening and radiance bug and looking for solace in makeup (instead of skin care). Because I have an oily face, I had not really invested in highlighting products till now – except for my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks and the MAC Strobe Lotion, thinking why add to the shine on the face. But it took me a while to realize how “shine” and “oiliness” are visibly different. I really wanted to try the Benefit range of highlighters but accessibility being an issue, I thought let’s try MAC and check what they have to offer. The SA suggested the cream colour base, which comes in a variety of shades and colours to suit different needs and different skin.. The color itself is a beige pink with shimmer, looks sad in the pan, but I have started to realize that most face products (except the lipsticks of course) – the sadder or scarier they look in pan – the more beautiful they look on skin! Funny? Yes! But true! The product itself is a hard cream but when you move your finger on the cream, it has lots of slip, so the product comes off on your finger/brush easily without forming any lumps. On skin, it sets a little, so I do not see it transferring or moving around. The pigmentation is good, you have the option to build it up or sheer it out as per your choice and area of usage. Meaning, on the cheekbones, it can be used as is but in the decolletage area.

Comment : ways; as a highlight ‘for a brighter complexion with a lit-from-within radiant glow’; or ‘as a bronzer/blush for an instantly healthy, sun-kissed finish’. Ahhhh I see, I’m totally with it now. If you’re after a strong highlight then this isn’t for you. If you’re after a perky, brightening blush, then again, this isn’t for you. This is a soft yet warm iridescent pale peach. It works well as a subtle highlight as it gives off a really low key sheen. No glitter, no shimmer but an ever so slight sheen. And because of it’s warm peachy tone, it works well to add a hint of warmth to the complexion without being obvious. It’s barely there formula will work well on pale skin tones to medium/olive skin tones. Any darker, then this product will fail to show up. For me, it works well as a neutral blush when you are rocking a dramatic eye or a bold lip. It’s the sort of non-offending shade that will not interfere with the rest of your makeup, but merely compliment and bring a look together.

Comment : Packaging: L’Oreal True Match Pressed Powder comes in a squarish silver packaing with a see through lid. There are 2 compartments in there where the top one carries the pressed powder and the 2nd one down under has a mirror and the sponge/puff. The quality of the puff is pretty good as it is soft nice and fluffy so I can actually see myself using it instead of a brush to apply powder on face. W3 is described as a golden beige shade which is a nice yellow toned shade. It is a tad bit lighter than my actual skin tone but it adjusts itself on me quite nicely giving a bright and even complexion. (NC 40), I feel N4 can also be a great pick for someone with similar complexion but slightly neutral understones. L’Oreal True Match Pressed Powder has satin smooth formula and doesn’t feel even a bit powdery. The texture is finely milled and it blends in effortlessly into skin. I have a dry skin and I absolutely love how it goes on my skin. This is the only powder that I can afford to apply on my face during winters without looking like someone who forgot to dust-off her baking face. The compact doesn’t give much of coverage but a light veil of color which reduces the redness around nose and pimples. I tried but I didn’t see much of a difference while layering it on my skin so the coverage is not buildable at all. In summers, it doesn’t last for more than 3-4 hours on me especially on the T- Zone while in winters I can pretty much go without touch for 7-8 hours. L’Oreal True Match Pressed Powder is pricier than the regular compact but it does have such a gorgeous texture and feel to it that is missing in budget compacts.

Comment : Each palette has 9 eyeshadow colors that are a good size, about the size of a postage stamp. There are 12 palettes in total but I only picked up 3. Since I knew we were going into fall I picked out three that were neutral/fall colors that I thought I would get a lot of use out of. There are some palettes that are brighter and more colorful in the collection, if that is more your style. The packaging is really nice. I like that the front is see through so you can see exactly what colors you are getting in the palette. I also think the little bow that clasps the palette shut is adorable. Even the smaller palettes in this line have that little bow. It is pretty solid packaging so I think it would be safe to bring this palette in a makeup bag or to take it with you when you are traveling.

Subject : Nice pen liner
Comment : Maybelline’s Hyper Sharp Liner comes in sleek black packaging with metallic golden cap. The entire packaging looks very glossy and attractive! Most of the pen liners have felt tips which makes them so easy to use, but this one has a brush tip! Yes! The bristles of the brushes are so tightly put together that it looks like a felt tip to naked eyes and brushes are evident only if you carefully examine the tip! The liner has great pigmentation though its not the blackest black which I have seen but with 2 coats, it does appear jet black. The finish it gives is glossy so if you love matte finishes, this is not for you. It dries super duper quick and stays all day! Once set, it becomes smudge proof, but it definitely is not waterproof though it is water resistant. It does not crease, transfer or fade and has stayed for 7+ hours on my eyelids easily! The brush tip is great for doing fine thin liners and can be used to do thick liner as well. I mainly use it to line my innermost corners. Its also a great liner for anyone who is interested in doing more articulate and artistic designs on their eyes or someone who is a makeup artist

Comment : After having a bad experience with the Glow Foundation, I was petrified of using the compact, though I had purchased all the new range together, without much thought. I used the foundation first and then on another day used the compact. The compact comes in four shades as I already mentioned. I have bought the “Pearl” shade, which is suited for the lightest complexion. Though my complexion is wheatish fair I guess, but I thought of experimenting by buying two shades, one for foundation and another for Compact. Thus I chose Marble for foundation and Pearl for compact. I was more confused on the match of these two shades on my complexion, hence picked both which were most likely my match. After using both the products I feel, Pearl is best suited for my complexion. The compact comes in the trademark Elle 18 black packaging. It has a double packaging, paper outer carton case and inside it a plastic compact case. The product is 8 grams in quantity, and the packaging plastic is not at all bulky, thus this comes very handy to carry in your make-up pouch *toothygrin*. On opening the case, on the upper half there is a round mirror attached to the walls, Thank God for that. A compact without a mirror is useless I guess, to do last moment touch ups. The texture is smooth on application, spreads evenly all over your face and neck. The puff provided is quite average, but thankfully soft. It helps in a smooth hassle free application, as its small in size fits easily in yours palms to help you touch up each time. For me, a compact puff texture and size matter for precise application, this one does a fairly good job.

Try mixing both A & B shades to set your entire foundation in place. It is priced at Rs. 500/- only. Use the lighter powder to set your under eyes and highlight the areas like the bridge of your nose, center of your forehead, etc.

Comment : The lipstick comes in a simple black glossy packaging, it is travel friendly and sturdy. For the price, the packaging is good. Also, Faces has hiked the price from Rs. 200 to Rs. 249. The color Prairie Pink is a beautiful coral pink, somewhere between pink and coral. It will best suit fair to medium skin tones, might wash out darker skin tones. It is not completely matte, one would not be able to tell from the swatch, and I realized that after I came home and applied the lipstick. It has a slight pearly finish; it is not at all shimmery and has more of a satin finish. I like this different finish on lips as it gives a good sheen. It is not my favorite shade as at the store, it looked more orange, but on lips, it leans slightly more towards pink, just like the name. The texture is smooth and glides easily on my dry lips even without a lip balm underneath. It is not buttery soft and creamy and is slightly different from the old “Go Chic” lipstick as those were more creamy, but nevertheless, I quite like these as creamy lipsticks just don’t last on my lips and tend to feather a lot. It does not dry out the lips even after wearing it for long.

Comment : The packaging of this is very different from the regular ones since this comes in a tiny cute round glass jar with the makeup mousse inside. Though this packaging is not hygienic at all since you are required to dig your fingers inside the jar every time you use it or even if you require more for application, so I'm not do happy with the packaging but I'm not so upset since this is a very travel friendly packaging being small in size and free from the fear of spillage because of mousse powdery texture. This Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation is quite matte as the name says but feel spongy to touch. I just take some on my finger and dab it all over and then blend it with my Sigma brush. It gets easily blended giving a sort of airbrush finish. I know many people complain of this being very powdery which in turn gives a very dry cakey look on skin but I didn't feel this way. Rather of felt that this mousse foundation was the easiest to blend of all. Though it did leave skin little dry but when I used it along with the setting spray, I could see a nice clear glowing skin. In terms of coverage, it gives light to medium coverage which can be made buildable but it's definitely not a foundation with heavy coverage. I had few light acne scars which were still visible after the application of this foundation. So I think it's a nice mousse foundation to even down your skin tone with light to medium coverage for normal, oily as well as acne prone skin but yes this one is definitely not for dry skin since it would make dry skin look even more dry and highlight your fines lines and wrinkles. I do have open pores on my right cheek which got more into focus after applying this but somehow I was able to balance then with the makeup fixing spray. This Maybelline Mousse Foundation is overall a good foundation in mousse form rather great for oily acne prone skin since this keeps oil and shine at bay. It gave me matte effect immediately on application and this effect was there till evening without any oiliness or shine which I actually liked but if you have dry skin then this is definitely not for you since this can make your skin look more flaky and rough. Also if you are looking for a high coverage foundation, then you should go for something like Revlon Colorstay since this will give you just light to medium coverage. One more thing, which I personally felt on my sensitive skin is that it itched little bit on my cheek area may be because I have sensitive skin. I didn't face this problem everything but once or twice.

Comment : The packaging is very nice, easy to use and travel friendly. It comes in a lipstick like tube with a transparent lid, which is a good thing as it allows getting a glimpse of the shade easily. The bottom is glossy grey and shade is written at the bottom of the tube. The tube has to be twisted from the bottom just like a lipstick and you can apply it easily. I have picked up the medium 03 Lakme concealer and it works strictly okay for me and that is because I am not so happy with the shade I chose. That is just my case; it might turn out to be quite well for the others! The consistency is matte of course, which means you need to moisturize your under eye area very well before you apply this concealer. It has a sweet citrusy pleasant smell. I did apply it minus moisturizer and the result was not at all good as it settled down in between the lines of my under eye area which made it look quite uneven. It is easy to use and glides on well on the skin. Coverage is light to medium, so not a great choice if you have pigmentation or deep scars. It does not leave any white cast so, yay! It has a powdery finish which means a good choice for oily skinned girls and for dry skin, a moisturizer is a must prior to the concealer application. I feel it is a decent product if you manage to get the right shade for your complexion.

Comment : The packaging of the makeup remover is very easy to use. It has a plastic stopper that controls the amount of remover dispensed out of it. Maybelline Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover is a bi phased remover with dual phase formula- a layer of oil over the liquid. You just need to shake it and it is ready to use. I take an appropriate size of cotton pad and dispense the remover over it. In order to remove eye makeup, make sure you keep the cotton pad on your closed eyelids for few seconds before swiping. This way, it removes all stubborn eye makeup (even waterproof mascara) quickly without tugging or pulling. It also removes waterproof or glittery lip makeup easily without leaving a stain behind. I also use it a face makeup remover and I totally loved it! It removes all stubborn makeup effectively without leaving a residue behind. My makeup artist did heavy makeup on my wedding and this makeup remover removes all makeup with few swipes without leaving a speck behind. Since it contains oil, it does leave a greasy residue behind but you can always follow it up with a good face wash

Comment : The balm is packaged in a tiny baby pink colored cardboard box. The box holds similar colored container which contains the actual balm. The small container looks cute and resembles the shape of an egg with blunt ends (so it stays in its place without rolling over). The tiny container has a wide mouth with a large screw cap. The cap has slight silver lining with a small symbol on the top which adds on to its looks. It looks like a light honey colored wax in the tiny jar. The texture appears somewhat similar to the Vaseline but it is lighter than that. I started using it as a lip balm only. I just swipe my finger over the balm and put that small amount on the lips which kept them moisturized for long. It has restored their softness and made them appear smoother. The balm doesn’t have greasy or oily texture like Vaseline. It spreads smoothly over the lips and gets absorbed pretty fast. It doesn’t leave any whitish layer on the lips. The balm is almost fragrance free and claims to contain Bees wax which can help in treating and softening extremely dry and rough areas like elbows, cuticles. I hated applying Vaseline because of its greasy, waxy feel but Oriflame Tender care balm moisturizes well without leaving any uneasy heavy feeling.

Comment : The product is housed in a tiny plastic transparent squeeze tube. You can see through the shade and the quantity left. The packaging is very cute and super fun. It has a slanted applicator to glide through easily. The packaging is convinient and travel friendly. You can just pop it into your handbag. Aren’t they so cute? They smell deliciously fruity like berries and tastes even better making you want to lick your lips often. The lipgloss application requires precision coz they are a bit sticky and doesn’t glide on very smooth. Once it settles on the lips, the stickiness reduces as it melts. I have to agree it is a bit waxy but that makes it sit on the lips intact. You get accustomed to it as soon as you start using it. You get only 10 ml of the product but you wont believe that it really dont get over quickly. It has a rich nourishing composition of natural waxes and vitamin E. It gives glossiness and keeps the lips hydrated. It gives a cozy soothing feel. The shade Clover Haze is like ” My own lips in a better Version”. It is close to the colour of my lips and makes it appear more plump. It gives a natural effect. You get a smooth glossy finish. It is non greasy and soft. It is perfect for a calm and striking girl like me. It gives good colour on lips. The pigmentation is good and buildable. You can even layer it on top of your favourite lipstick for a power shine pout. It stays for a couple of hours and requires reapplication as you drink or eat but that wont be a problem as these glosses are handy.

Comment : The product comes in a sleek, retractable packaging so there is no need of sharpening the liner, Hence no wasting the product. The texture of the product is smooth, although at times it requires slightly tugging the lips. Make sure your lips are well exfoliated when you use the lip liner for a smooth application. The lip liner settles matte and doesn’t budge. It does have the tendency of making lips slightly dry/ drier depending on your lips so be sure to apply a lip balm prior the application of the lip-liner. There’s no particular scent added to the liners. The color pay off is pretty good, You get opaque finish in one swipe. The staying power is a good 5-6 hours after which it starts to fade from the middle of the lips. Pros: Retractable. Affordable. Matte Doesn’t budge. Pigmented. Stays put for 5+ hours. Cons: Availability. At times might tug.

You can even buy it online, from stores like amazon. It has a very smooth & light texture Oriflame Tender Care Protecting Balm. It gets absorbed very quickly Gives an instant soft & smooth skin. It is non- greasy, doesn’t leave you with the feeling of oiliness. Love this feature the best. It can be used to treat dry or irritated skin, whether it’s around the eyes, lips, hands etc. For me it’s a multipurpose balm I like to smother it on my feet, wear my socks & go off to sleep at night. Comment : This has 2 sides with a highlight to illuminate your face parts like cheeks, Nose Bridge, brow bone under. While, the other side is face contour. Illuminators make me think glitter and this does have too much of chunky glitter. But the effect was translucent sheen on cheek bones. The dark brown colored contour is just like sun-kissed bronzer from Lakme. The illuminator gives chalky and isn’t very fine in texture. I seriously can’t use it for day wear but for night it surely gives lucid sparkling skin. It isn’t milled properly and also contour colour is little dark. The lasting power is of 3 hours.

Comment : Eyeshadows come squared and rounded. As for the palette, (you can see in the photo above) how they are laid out. I like that they have separated wells with a nice 2mm gap in between them. Which helps to prevent shadows from blending into each other (something that my z palettes do not do). The magnet is super strong (stronger than Mac) so believe me when i tell you that it is hard to get your eyeshadows out once you have them in, those little suckers aren't going anywhere. However i remove mine using tweezers but it can scratch a few of your eyeshadows in the process (as you can see by some of my shadows in my photos). I find using a pencil to write each eyeshadows number next to it or applying stickers on the back helps me to remember each shade. The frosted front cover (with the Inglot logo all over) slides off using magnets to hold it closed. The packaging is super sturdy and travels well without damaging any eyeshadows. As for convenience I personally find the Z palettes & Mac palettes easier with their lid openings as i can use just 1 hand when i am in a rush, so sometimes i transfer my Inglot shadows into a Z palette for convenience at home.

Subject : 20 shade palette!
Comment : This 20 shade eyeshadow palette has a great range of warm toned neutrals from light to dark and with a mixture of mattes and shimmers. I didn’t know what to expect because I’ve never tried this brand before but I was hoping it would be of similar quality to it’s sister brand Makeup Revolution. I was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess of the eyeshadows and the pigmentation, and they are very similar to MUR in that sense.

I was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess of the eyeshadows and the pigmentation, and they are very similar to MUR in that sense. This IS a very fair contour kit with the contour colour leaning a peachy nude/brown, which is great for a subtle every day look for people with pale skin like me! The lighter shade looks a little yellow in the pan but it makes for a great matte highlighting colour. Both of these, again are very creamy and smooth. Blusher looked very neon which isn’t really my thing but when you swirl over the whole product it gives a peachy-pink colour which can be very wearable. It does have shimmer and as the description says it’s great at brightening the completion. Again, it’s very creamy and not too powdery of a powder. eyebrow powder palette, with three shades of powder and a gel (hidden in the bottom right corner). All of these shades are wearable for me depending on the look I’m going for and don’t come across looking too warm, they’re actually pretty ashy which is good. I never really use the gel but it looks okay none-the-less.

Comment : What I like about the product: Stick form, not oily nor creamy that is scary for acne prone skin Has the normal tea tree and concealer smell, but can't smell it when applying Since it's stick form, doesn't melt even the weather is hot Moist appears during hot season, making it easier for me to get some products Easy to apply and blendable even if in stick form Match my skin tone Can be used for a long time depending on the condition of your blemishes, but I can still use this for a very long time Affordable (though I hope price won't increase ) Easy to get one since The Body Shop is available everywhere Very handy and not bulky *Tip: Just dab your ring finger after applying concealer so as to set the product. The hotness of the finger will help you melt the product and the ring finger lightness won't make you rub your face.

Comment : The texture is a complete LOVE. As much as I liked the velvet matte range of Faces, I am liking these as well. Almost all the shades from this range are summer appropriate and kudos to Lakme for that. This is moisture matte as per my opinion and hence very comfortable on the lips. Also it does not feel heavy or sticky on the lips. The lightweight formula would be like wear and forget. The pigmentation is buildable, one swipe is good for regular wear, but if you want a longer stay multiple swipes are required. These do not move from the lips and hence lip liner is totally optional. I love how smoothly it glides on the lips and gives a velvet matte finish to the lips. The only complain if I HAVE to make one would be the transfer to the cups/cutlery. The staying power ranges from 5-6 hours depending on the food/drink intake. With a liner the stay improves up to 7 hours; but I avoid the liner as I enjoy the lightweight texture.

Comment : Soft Frost is described as white that breaks violet. This was first on my list when I saw the release. It is absolutely stunning. This highlighter is unlike anything I have. It’s close to a NYX shadow I sometimes use as a highlight, but Soft Frost is more subtle and almost otherworldly. The MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes are here to stay! Finally, not a limited edition rush to the MAC counter. I do plan on picking up the other two, Beaming Blush and Show Gold

Comment : The blush overall is sheer but the intensity can be built up. So depending on what kind of look you are going for, you can play around with the intensity. With just one twist you get a nice flush of colour on your cheeks. If you twist the brush twice or thrice in the product, you get more intense application. I can use the brush even after the product gets over. By the way let me mention that it’s 5 gm of product packed in the cap. Your Colorbar or MAC blushes are 6gm of product.I wish Clinique’s was also 6 gm but then you have other benefits with this. Sigh!! Wishes!! The texture is quite smooth. Even on my most dry-cheeks-day I didn’t feel any flakiness or roughness on my cheeks. Sometimes when by cheeks are dry I feel that some blushes tend to look flakey on my cheeks. I hate that. ???? I have not faced any such problem with this one. It blends in pretty smoothly. It didn’t break me out.

Subject : 03 light medium
Comment : Revlon tries to keep it smarter than Lakme by trying to keep both sides of the game. How else could you explain the shade light-medium? And cummon only 2 shades! *eye roll* this shade is for very light to light complexions and sadly just like Lakme has a yellow undertone which fails to do much for me. Even if it does conceal better it gives me yellow spots grrrr… The coverage is medium-buildable (yes I am talking in Revlon lingo lol) but ya its just about ok but can be built up to a decent coverage. The shade is too pale for under eyes of course (guess the other shade still might work) but it does conceal a few zits or blemishes on my face. The texture is medium thick, creamy but not at all greasy (of course I might not have felt it cause the weather itself is sucking moisture) and is quite easy to apply and blend and requires a tiny amount for each application. Staying power is not an issue at all and plus in this weather it lasts the whole day till removed and does not oxidize. The Revlon colorstay concealer comes in a regular concealer packaging with a very nice spongy applicator which is easy to carry around and apply but also means a bit unhygienic so its better to smear them on your hand and dab with fingers

Comment : I do not like white color, but this product is an exception. The tube looks so sobre in white. It is super travel friendly and handy. It has details about the products, ingredients etc. You know, how Natio likes to keep it simple? This is how it is. The flip top cap is good too and works well. It does not get opened on its own and dispenses the product well. But, after some uses, some product gets accumulated on the cap; you can clean it with a wet tissue. It does not have any fragrance in particular. It is white in color and has a lotion like consistency. It is not sticky like other primers. As claimed, it is super light and spreads very easily. It feels like a dreamy primer to me. It does take few seconds to get absorbed but it is worth the wait. Once it gets absorbed, it makes the application of foundation and concealer super easy and quick. It becomes a cakewalk to blend other products over this primer. What makes this primer better is the presence of rosehip, Vitamin C and Shea butter. It makes my skin look even toned and glowy as soon as I apply it, which is another plus point.

Comment : These lip crayons come in a convenient retractable chubby stick like packaging. The shades range from neutrals, corals, warm, oranges, berry and reds. We swatches all these shades. The first row has mostly subtle neutral shades. Second row has vibrant and warmer shades. The texture of these lipsticks is waxy very much like lip balm. Pigmentation wise they are moderate. Not very sheer, neither too opaquely pigmented. Therefore it will take a couple of swipes to cover the lips properly. Furthermore, this makes them a very good option for daily wear lipsticks because these are very moisturising on the lips and give a decent colour pay off. We feel these are a slightly innovative launch by Faces in the world of “Matte”. So for beauties who are not big fans of matte lips, here is a treat from Faces Cosmetics.

Comment : The packaging of Faces kajal is quite similar to the packaging of the other twist-up kajals in the Indian market. Only the color red is very prominent and eye catching. Nice and decent packaging, overall. The twist up kajal comes in a red shell and has the brand logo and bits of information embossed on it in white. The cap makes me struggle every time I use this kajal. There needs some pulling and scratching with nails to pull off the cap! Faces magnet eyes kajal has a great black pigmentation. It is not what we call jet black but a nice wearable, natural looking black shade. It has very creamy texture and is super tender. I am unable to pull on a fine line on my upper eye lid for the fear that it would break with even slight pressure. But it glides easily on lower lid and water line. The kajal lasts 4-5 hours on my upper eye lid, around 4 hours on lower lid and some 45-60 minutes on waterline, after which the kajal begins to smudge. So, we see that the faces kajal is neither smudge proof nor extreme black. However, being water proof and transfer resistant, the kajal becomes really convenient for every day wear. But again the same qualities make it somewhat difficult to remove the kajal. We always have some trouble in removing water proof stuffs, anyway. Generally, I use baby oil to remove make up but with the magnet eyes kajal, it did not work well. I was left with panda eyes and then I used my mom’s eye makeup remover. My eyes still had tit bits of kajal. I had to wipe and wipe and wash, fir jaake baat bani

Comment : The Packaging: It’s a rectangular tube with a slightly curved surface, which prevents it from rolling off and plunging into the abyss of Broken Lippie Land. It is significantly heavier than other lipsticks. The Texture: The colour is relatively intense and payoff is good – you don’t need to apply too many layers to get the colour you want. It also glides on smoothly, and (as promised in their press release), hydrates and moisturises the lips. In the swatches above, I did not apply any lip balm prior to the lipsticks, and most of the richer colours managed to cover the chapped portions pretty effectively.

Comment : This isn't exactly what I consider a makeup essential, but if you want a boost in length, it does a good job of that. The key is to make sure when using this product that your lashes appear to have white tips as a result of the primer. The longer the white tips are, the longer your lashes will look when you go over the primer with mascara. You aren't going to get drama, but there is a noticeable difference. Not so much with volume, though - it adds maybe a bit, but not much. If I try to use a thick layer for more effect, it seems to cause some minimal clumping in mascara that never clumped before, regardless of how long I let the primer set before applying said mascara. This is the only lash primer I've tried, so I can't say if it's better or worse than any others. I'm impressed enough with the lash lengthening

Comment : I love using lip balms. So, I laid my hands on this lip spa care lip balm from the house of Oriflame. it comes in a cute packaging. This slender white plastic tube with a pink band is not only pretty to look at but is also hygienic and travel-friendly. The lip balm looks strikingly similar to a lipstick. Its white inner core is set inside the pinkish outer core. It glides through the lips with ease. The application is smooth as butter and this light-weight non-greasy lip balm hydrates the lips thoroughly. The fragrance is mild and sweet, almost like a bubble gum. The staying power however is really poor. Reapplication is necessary once in every 2 hours. It is softly tinted with a peach and pink hue. While most of the time I use it on my lips just as a hydrating formula, I can use it conveniently as a moisture-lock shield before applying lipsticks as well. It is an average product from the house of Oriflame. While this product has not disappointed me in any respect, I don’t find it extraordinarily good either. I would prefer buying it when it is available at a discounted rate.

Subject : Most lightweight foundation
Comment : The texture of this Foundation Stick is mousse-to-cream like. Quite dry to touch, not overly creamy which means it isn’t a breeze to blend with the fingers (which I am quite a fan of). This is one of those foundations that you’re definitely better off blending with a buffing brush as it gives a more seamless finish. I use the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and Buffing Brush alternately with this foundation and they work perfectly. I find that it tugs a bit on the skin while blending, even with the brushes, as the texture of the Stick and my skin don’t meld well together. The best way for me to get a really smooth application is to apply this after putting on my moisturizer. It’s much more workable this way. The coverage is definitely medium as you’ll see in the photos below. With this, I find that I don’t need to pile on the concealer because it does a pretty good job covering up the dark circles on its own. Right after blending, I initially thought the foundation looks a bit too flat on me and almost to the point of cakey but after 10-15 minutes – it sets to a softer, more natural-looking finish. So don’t be scared when you apply this and feel like how I felt above, you have to give it time to settle down fully. An issue I encountered with this though, is it has a tendency to cling on to dry patches so you have to moisturize prior, let the moisturizer dry down a bit and then put this on. It will give you the most beautiful medium-full coverage that doesn’t scream “I’VE FOUNDATION ON, PPLZ!”

Comment : The concealer comes packaged in a lip gloss like packaging with a doe-foot applicator. The same comes housed in their typical navy blue cardboard packaging. Nothing to right sonnets about, but the packaging is convenient and travel friendly. Texture: The texture is light and creamy. It blends effortlessly and is oil-free and water proof. There are no shimmer particles. Pigmentation: I even thought the product is lightweight and creamy, and it provides amazing coverage. It covers up my blemishes so perfectly and blends into the skin as if nothing has been applied. You don’t really need to layer it up. The concealer sets quickly and then stays put for the whole day. It just doesn’t budge. I tend to dab my face with a sheet of face tissue – post applying base makeup – to take care of excess base product and to check if base makeup has set or not. Love the fact that the concealer sets even without any powder application on top. I still do use a setting powder for the whole face, but this concealer doesn’t really need one. It is transfer proof. It lasts whole day without cracking or drying out the undereye area. Neither does it melt off my oily skin.

Comment : I love love love the creamy consistency of the concealer. It is neither thick nor thin and just glides on easily. Also, it gives me ample time to work with the concealer before it finally sets. The concealer is quite opaque but not thick. Once blended out nicely, it stays on all day long without creasing or settling into the fine lines. If you have oily skin, you might want to set it with powder, for my dry skin it works just fine without any powder as well. A little goes a long way. You barely need a drop of concealer for both the under eyes. The best thing I like about this concealer is that it looks natural. It just looks like a part of your own skin. When mixed with a moisturiser, it makes an excellent tinted moisturiser. It didn’t break me out. The pump. Hate it. You need to put in quite a good pressure to dispense the concealer and the pump always dispenses more than the required product. It always results in waste of product. You would have to really blend it out fast because it dries quickly and might setting in your fine lines. You definitely need a good amount of under eye cream or else it would be too drying for your under eyes. If you want a heavy concealing, I feel MAC Studio Finish Concealer would be better pick than this one because you would have to layer pro longwear concealer up and that might look cakey.

Comment : These are great eyeshadows & worth a reasonable investment by anyone. Singles are $20 or $21 each, as are the eyeliners & mascara. Colors are buildable, so don't expect a big color payout with one swish through the shadow. Too big a swipe will cause the dust to fall under eyes & upper cheeks. This is really just a learning curve, since a LOT of women have a palette in their cases since layering brings out depth, remaining blendable. Great lasting power, particularly when using the SHIMMER eyeshadow primer (any) as opposed to the regular--the shimmer variety has a workday's worth of virtually unbudgeable color. Other perks are colors & finishes. Several colors feature iridescent shifts, which can bring out your eyes without being too much. It took me a while to forgo eyeliner for a long time while using these colors, but when I did, I loved how the colors were interesting & understated with just brown mascara. Then there's the opposite end of the UD spectrum, where twinkling glitters don't fall out of place easily, iridescents shift blue to gold or green, & shimmers that don't look like you're trying too hard. I was titillated when I found out some of colors in the Moonstone series doesn't look crepy or too juvenile

Comment : The texture of this product is smooth. It is also very light and there is no heaviness after applying. The color doesn’t bleed and there’s no need to use a lip liner unless you want to use it to increase the staying power. It is like you’ve applied a very thin layer of Vaseline petroleum jelly on your lips. This lipstick has the exact same feel on the lips. That being said, it also wears off really quickly like Vaseline ???? I haven’t tried it with a lip liner or a base but on its own, it has very poor staying power. On me, it lasts barely an hour or two and that is, if I don’t drink or eat anything. Also, in a very short time the color lightens up drastically and becomes a faint orange so you have to constantly reapply to keep the color looking bright. It’s is cased in a metallic orange tube which I quite like. The tube is pretty sturdy and the lipstick doesn’t break easily. I always twist up only a few inches while using it so that there is no chance of any breakage happening. I find that doing this is not enough to prevent lakme lipsticks from melting and breaking. So, this is a definite plus with Maybelline moisture extreme lipsticks.

Comment : Even on the lower end of price range; the packaging is not cheap or fragile. It is about my palm length, just shy of an inch. It has plastic see through cover and all the colors are embedded in their designated slots. It would have been better if there were an in-built mirror but alas, no such luck. The eyeshadows are very smooth, but not the most pigmented. The light colours take at least three layers for the colours to show up vividly with a finger swatch and you'll need to use a wet brush to get the desired intensity. The darker greys are much more pigmented, especially the last three shades. Since the texture of the eyeshadows is smooth, it's very blendable, but you need to keep adding back so that the colour doesn't fade away while you're blending. The shades are very wearable but nothing exceptional that's why I am not blown away by the palette. It's nice but could have been better in terms of the shades and pigmentation. Some of the shades will look very similar when worn.

Subject : Fushcia fun
Comment : Fuchsia fun is a pretty mauve shade. For the naming convention, I expected it to be a bright pink or an ideal fuchsia color but it came out to be muted mauve nail polish. The plus point of that is it can be easily worn to office or for professional meets without giving a loud impression. It is a perfect summer color that will make your hands look cheerful. But before purchasing it, I would suggest you try the tester as it does not look like it will suit all skin tones. You can wear this polish without a base coat as it does not transfer any pigmentation to nails. In my opinion, this is a good thing in times of rush. The other plus point of its application is it dries quickly. I won’t say it takes just 40 second (as mentioned on the website) in drying but yes the drying time is less as compared to other nail polishes. For color payoff, one coat does not provide an opaque nail bed. You will require 2-3 coats to see good coverage. And the more coats you apply the longer it will take to dry in contrast to the 40 seconds claim. Also, while going for the third coat you have to handle the brush carefully otherwise you might end up with streaky nails.

Comment : Chanel Rouge Charnel (56) Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium-dark pink-tinted red with subtle, cool undertones and a satin finish. There was very subtle pearl that gave it a light shine. The texture was very smooth, velvety, and thin without being clingy. The lipstick sat well on the lips without emphasizing imperfections, and it lasted for over six hours. It started to feel drying after six hours of wear on me.

Comment : The packaging is classic colorshow packaging. The nail paints have these shimmery particles in it with some tiny bit bigger ones so that it actually makes a bold glittery statement look on the nails. They are easy to apply and you don’t get that rough feeling while applying it because the nail paint base is quite thick and creamy in consistency. It spreads evenly and I notice that you do need 2-3 coats of the nail paint to make it look like it appears inside the bottle. Well, I always try to get the shade matching to how it looks in the bottle from outside, do you do that too? ???? I find that these stay on my nails without chipping for a good 6-7 days which is quite praiseworthy. The glitters show up well and do not go dull with time. It does give a sand-like feeling when you touch it on your nails but not too grainy, if used without a top coat. It does not catch your clothes or any fine linen that you wear. The glitters stay put in their place and do not come out once the nail polish is completely dry.

Subject : Lip primer
Comment : It is basically a lip primer that comes in a convenient twist-up stick. The stick is rather long, but slim, so it won’t take up too much room at all in your makeup bag. The primer itself looks like a white lip balm in the tube but it is transparent when applied on the lips. It has the familiar vanilla scent signature of MAC lip products although it is very faint and vanishes instantly upon application. The tip of the product is slanted and small which makes for a precise application. I, however, would recommend twisting it up just enough to apply otherwise you could risk breaking off the tip. The product was designed to be used under your lip color (lipstick, lip gloss, lip liner, lip stain, lip cream, and so on) to improve the appearance of applied lip products. Upon initial application, it feels very much like your typical lightweight lip balm. It even adds hydration, moisturizes, and keeps lips conditioned, very much the same way a lip balm does. It is very emollient and slippery in the beginning in which at this time you have to let it sit for a minute or so. Remember this is key. If you follow with your lip product right away, it will not adhere well to your lips and will move around. The color will also be sheered out considerably. After a minute wait, the texture will dry down to a semi-matte finish and become slightly tacky and sticky, and that’s when you know it’s good to follow with your lip color. The tackiness allows the lip color to adhere to your lips to prolong the wear time but it does not interfere with the color, texture, consistency, or coverage of the lip color by any means. It does well at smoothing and evening out the texture on my lips. I notice that my lipstick glides on so much smoother. I have tried it under different formulations of lip products and it seems to be compatible with all of them

Comment : It blends in very well with my skin tone and I use a sponge and my fingers for blending. I use my M.A.C Foundation on it with a brush and I am ready for the day . I also use a compact (M.A.C Studio Fix) for light touch ups during the day. The best part about this product is that you only need a small about for your entire face and you’re done for the day. The fact that it is so light it helps my make to stay in place without me having to worry. The SPF is the best part about the product. I would say this is my miracle cream. It hides my pigmentation very well and keeps my skin shiny and moisturized during the whole day.For anyone with dark spots, mild acne and fine lines I reckon this tube would do just fine. But for those who have severe acne and breakouts I do not recommend this product because the coverage is medium. Anyone blessed with clear skin can wear this product on its own. I have been using this product daily and it is perfect for trips to the mall or movie dates. And the fact that it is travel friendly also helps.

Comment : This is my go-to bottom lash and 'every day' mascara. MAC's mascara have been a little hit or miss for me over the years, but I really love this one. It's a repeat purchase product. The brush is long and thin, making it the perfect size to apply product on the lower lash line without getting those annoying black dots all over the place. The tip of the wand is also fairly small, which makes precision application a breeze. The great thing is that it also works well on the upper lashes, giving natural to moderate volume, length and curl depending on how much you apply. It doesn't clump, gives a nice fluttery look and is a great inky black. It has GREAT staying power, and doesn't smudge or flake even after hours and hours of wear. I use warm water to loosen the product at the end of the day and then an oil-based remover to take it off. It's a tubing mascara, so I find going straight away with remover takes a bit of work, hence using water first. The packaging itself is also super compact and slim, which makes it my first choice for travel as well.

Comment : The Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub in Strawberry Gum is easily one of the best lip scrubs that I have used. I have tried many, and even made my own, but this one is unique. The scent reminds me of classic strawberry bubblegum, and it’s completely delicious. The formula even tastes slightly like it (of course I tried it!). The Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub is very effective at sloughing away dead skin cells, but also left my lips feeling really moisturized. They felt smooth and soft for hours after using the scrub too. Even without applying a lip balm. I noticed that the velour liquid lipsticks applied very smoothly and evenly after using the Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub. I am going to continue to use this scrub and will likely purchase other scents in the future.

Comment : It is packaged in a black plastic bottle with spritzer. The setting-spray liquid is completely colorless but has a strong odor due to alcohol content. The spritzer works well but sometimes the liquid comes out as big droplets. NYX also offers additional version of setting spray as dewy finish. The spritzer is provided with a plastic cover top for protection.I usually use the setting spray when I have done heavier makeup and I want it to last without requiring any touch-ups. After applying my makeup, I use the setting spray by keep a distance of suggested 6 inches from the face and spray. It takes 3- 4 spritz to cover my forehead, cheeks and jaw. Usually, the spritz works okay and I have a mist fall on my face. But sometimes I also face the issue of droplets of liquid come out from the spritzer, which makes it inconvenient. This setting spray is especially designed for oily skin. Even though I have a dry skin typ,e I picked up this setting spray as I do not like a dewy or oily look. Maintaining a matte effect on my skin is much more preferred. Even though the mist is liquid as soon as it falls on my face, the mist immediately evaporates without smudging my makeup.

Comment : The Sugar kajal comes in a nice sleek box with mosaic design all over it which gives a quirky touch to the packaging. The kajal nicely fits inside that box and the box mentions the shade name and more details. The kajal comes in a basic black packaging which is super long and sleek. The shade that I picked is called Black Velvet and it did stay true to its name. It has an intense black pigmentation which appears in just 2 swipes, so no tugging and pulling required. In just 2 swipes, I get an attractive black look all over my eyes. The pigmentation is super great and does not lose its intensity even if worn for hours and hours. The consistency is extremely smooth and glides nicely over my waterline and below the eyes. It takes a while to build up colour on my waterline because my eyes are pretty watery. I really like this for under my eyes since I usually apply the kajal that way but I do not find it great to use over my eyes because it does not give me a neat look. The kajal stays for just 2 hours on my waterline which is not that great but if I compare some other drugstore kajals then they stay for similar time too. And under my eyes it stays for 6-7 hours and sometimes even more but just fades a bit from the outer corners of my eyes since my eyes are watery. Once swiped, it does not really smudge and stays put.

Comment : The first thing which hits you about the BB cream is the size of the tube. It’s fairly small and slender, but houses 40 ml of product – as opposed to 30 ml from other brands. The small black tube is extremely convenient to carry along in your bag. The tube has a screw on cap and a small nozzle from which to dispense off liquid. The nozzle allows sufficient control on the amount of product being dispensed out. The tube comes housed inside a black cardboard box – typical to Bobbi Brown.I have been in search of a good BB cream since ages, loved the texture of Guerlain BB cream but with only 3 shades, which too seemed a little cool toned, it was not a match. So, I was really keen on trying Bobbi Brown’s BB Cream – one, because she is known to have a good range of colours and two, she understands that our base products need a bit of yellow in them and thirdly, because of the fact that her products have rarely disappointed me.The BB cream comes in astounding 9 shades – the highest number of shades I have seen in a BB cream. The shade I picked is “Natural” – I use the same shade in Bobbi Brown’s foundations too. I’m NC 30-35 (depending on the season). The shade has a hint of yellow and suits my skin tone perfectly. The texture is creamy, not too thick, not too runny either – easy to blend. I generally use my fingers for applying this. It feels like your day cream being applied – it’s not heavy and goes on smoothly.

Comment : Benefit Hoola Bronzer though, is a plain matte bronzer. It can easily be understated beside the golden Nars Laguna, but Hoola has it’s own special tricks as well. It can imitate how shadows would look like on skin (it’s quite intense on the swatch but when blended its beautiful), which makes it the perfect bronzer for sculpting that Kim Kardashian facial contour (or a slightly less intense contour than hers). I like to swipe this on my jawline to slim my face down a bit. Quality wise, it make me so proud for lasting an entire day. Although, of course, after a very long while they will fade and will require a little retouching. You can build up their color from the lightest touch of bronze to a darker shade. Hoola can go a few more shades darker, which is why your skin tone will also play a role in picking bronzers. In most cases I believe medium-dark skintones will look best with Hoola.

Comment : Brow Set by MAC looks like your typical brow gel or a mascara. The packaging is simple and practical; the brush is something I am not a big fan of for two simple reasons. First it is a bit too large for your eyebrows and second - it picks up way too much product and does smudge all over the place as I have realized later on.Now Brow Set comes in four colours only: clear (transparent), blonde, taupe and rich brown. I am quite convinced that there is a shade missing and that is a good grayish brown for those of us who have got pitch black hair. I know that most make-up artists believe that it is nicer to use a slightly lighter shade on your brows (as opposed to your real hair colour), because it frames the face better and most of the time doesn't look as harsh as a darker shade would. Considering I have a very black hair (which only looks brownish under direct sunlight) I was recommended the darkest shade in the range which is called "Show Off". Unfortunately the colour is way too warm and red in undertone, which doesn't suit my hair or face at all. If you have warm brown hair with hints of red - this is a perfect shade for you, but if you're like me and your hair is more on a grayish/cool undertone side - don't bother investing in this shade whatsoever. Show Off in particular has got some iridescent touch to it, the colour is not matte. You do see those tiny shimmer particles once the product is on and I am still not sure whether I like it or not.As I mentioned earlier, unless you are buying a clear version of Brow Set - beware that the coloured version might smudge all over the place. It might be ok when you use a blonde shade, but when it is a dark brown - it is a whole other story. The texture of Brow Set is perfect nevertheless; it is neither too wet or dry and it does hold the brow in place all day long. Your brows don't feel crispy when you touch them and overall I believe if the wand was smaller, this would be a genius product. If you don't want extra colour - go for the clear version and you will be more than happy with it!

Comment : MAC Modern Twist Kajal Liner in Cat’s Meow comes in a twist-up pencil. The pencil is black in color with a band at the bottom which represents the shade, but since mine is already black, it really doesn’t make any difference. ???? The pencil is not retractable, it just twists up so one has to be careful with the amount of product which is twisted as it will not go back down, but it does not twist up easily, I have to rotate the pencil numerous times. But the cap shuts click and you can carry it with ease. The pencil is housed in a typical black carton which has all the details printed on it. : The shade I have is called “Cat’s Meow.” How does this name represent black!!! This shade is black and it is just black, not the blackest black. Honestly, I wanted it to be blackest black, but it does not have that intensity. Though the liner does looks like that in swatches, but the same intensity does not show up on the eyes. It applies smoothly and never tugs or pulls, neither on waterline, lower lash line or upper lash line. Pigmentation is good, one stroke does gives color, but I prefer going at least twice. I love that this product is safe for waterline as well. And on waterline too, I do go over twice or may be thrice The staying power depends on where you apply it. On my waterline, it starts fading in just around an hour or so, and I don’t have watery eyes, in fact, I have very dry eyes (sensitive too); it doesn’t disappear but loses its intensity. On my upper lash line, it stayed for the whole day with little fading and no smudging. But on days that my lids are oily, it transfers on my upper lids. I basically bought this for my waterline and it really doesn’t impress me in that area.

Comment : the brush applicator, which is of the right thickness, but yet there is not much smoothness in the application! In order to get the perfect look, the perfect stroke, Coloréssence Supreme Intense Liquid Liner will make you go bananas, at least to some extent!? But I’m a great fan of the finish and the glossiness of the liquid liner!! Your eyes can never go wrong once Coloréssence Supreme Intense Liquid Liner is on to them! Mashaallah!!? Couldn’t get my eyes off my eyes!!? I’m too used to pen eyeliners, and so a brush one didn’t go along with me much! But don’t worry, if you are accustomed to such eyeliners, I dread if you will have any problems at all. One reason behind this being the soft bristles, which will never hurt your eyes! Oh yeah, the color payoff!! The color isn’t exactly jet black but quite near to it! The finish is anyway going to make you forget everything!? And yes, Coloréssence Supreme Intense Liquid Liner will never ditch you by fading away right when you needed it the most, as its lasting power is easily 4-5 hours!

Comment : The pigment comes in a small transparent plastic jar with a velvety matte black screw cap which is quite sturdy. There is a small plastic cover inside to protect the pigment from spilling when you open the black cap. I personally feel there should have been a sieve-like cap for controlled application of the product. The jar is enclosed in a black outer cover which has the detailed information regarding the product. It also has a small round open space in the middle through which we can see the bottle inside and hence the shade. The packing is very strong and can be easily carried around without the worry of spilling the contents. The shade is a beautiful deep metallic rose with gold flecks, these pigments are loose glitter-like powder with intense pigmentation. They are not finely milled powder, a little coarse to look upon but not in texture. they are quite smooth texture-wise and very light-weight. It actually looks like the glitter powders I used to play with, when I was young for certain art and craft classes, but they were coarse in texture of course. I usually prepare my eyes first with a primer or an eye shadow base, then I work on my crease and blend it well, then apply a base colour on my lid either cream or light pink, at last I put the pigment all over my lid area. I soak my brush in eye drops and then pick up the pigment to apply on my lids, if you have any other medium like Fix+ to use the pigmentation, that is also fine.It is quite easy to apply according to the intensity you like, just soak the brush with required quantity of eye drops or Fix+to pick up the pigment, if there is excess moisture it tends to get watery on your eye lid, so just be careful there. It is also easy to blend the pigment, so I just give a light blend on the outer corners of the lid with the crease colour that I used so that the line does not stand out sharp. It gives a pure metallic finish on your eyes when used with a medium but if you use on its own it gives a shimmery sparkly look on your eyes. It also has very intense pigmentation and stays smooth on your eyes without any fading for a very long period as it stayed on my eyes for more than 7 hours and there was no fading or visible creasing, it just stayed put and I am really impressed with its staying power. It is always best to use a primer before you apply a pigment to avoid creasing and for a long-lasting effect. There is absolutely no difficulty in removing the pigment also, it can be removed even with plain water.

Comment : This is by far the blackest mascara I have tried. It’s super super super black. It does not clump . Even after 2-3 coats you don’t see the tiny bits of mascara on the tips of your lashes. Stays on all day long and hold the curl pretty well. It gives a super thickening effect to lashes . If you have sparse lashes , this one is a great pick. This almost gives that false lashes effect, without you actually wearing false lashes. The brush design is such that it coats every single bit of lash. this does not dry super last. It takes good 15-20 seconds for it to dry so you can layer up your mascara. And it would never clump. Does not feel heavy or weigh down your lashes. The formula is fantastic. It is between liquid and cream so it does not feel too wet or dry. It does not say if it is water proof or water resistant but even when I am roaming out in the sun, it never smudges or smears. Does not make your lashes hard as the day passes by. It removes easily with an eye makeup remover or baby oil. Overall I totally love this mascara. Estee Lauder never fails to impress when it comes to mascaras. I have bene using their mascaras for almost year and a half now and I would always purchase them. I just feel that they make non waterproof versions better than the water proofs ones. Waterproof ones become quite difficult to remove and I don’t like to do a tug of war with my lashes every day. If you want very natural looking lashes- go for Estee Lauder Sumptuous Bold. If you want dramatic volumised lashes, go for Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme.

Comment : Lakme Rose Kissed comes in a plastic packaging with a metallic red outer coating. The word LOVE is written with silver on the outer case. Also the bullet has the word embossed on it. The cap fits with a click and hence you can safely carry it your purse. The shade name is written at the bottom but there is no color code for the specific colors, so if you have more than one shade from this range you have to remember the shade name with corresponding shades.Rose Kissed is from the Lip Love range of Lakme. I have used other shades from this collection which have lovely finish, just like this one. The bullet glides on lips super smooth but not slippery. There is a creamy saucy texture to the lip color. There are no shimmers in this particular shade, so there is no question of gritty uncomfortable feeling. This is an everyday wear shade. It is muted pink with subtle brown undertones. This is a perfect wear for office and college. MLBB shade for people with skin tones ranging from NC 40-45. The shade covers pigmented lips on two swipes. If you have very pigmented lips, I would suggest using a liner beneath.

Comment : When i first swatched it on my hands, i was surprised with its creamy texture and intense black colour. It is very soft and smooth on application. Talking about the 2X Black colour, yes it is much black in colour than the older colossal and other kajals in the market. There were some issues with the older 12hr colossal kajal when i used it but those are solved with this SUPER BLACK one from maybelline. It doesn’t tug and break on application which is a big thumbs up for me. On one swipe it doesn’t give that 2X Black colour but on 2-3 application it is a Super black intense colour with matte finish which i am loving. It is a waterproof and smudge proof kajal. I apply the maybelline kohl in the morning and even by evening it doesn’t smudge at all which is again a great thing. After two hours of application, it was intact on my waterline and eyelid. After four hours i noticed a bit of fading from my waterline but it was still intact on my eyelid. So, it doesn’t stay for 16 hours as per its claim but it has a good staying power. Its stays for a good 6 hours on my waterline and 8 hours on my eyelid.

Comment : The first thing I would like to mention, I am in love with this colour. It is such a bright beautiful shade that instantly lifts your face up. This kind of shade is a little hard to pull off but if you are fond of brights like me you are sure to fall for its charm. It is a Matte finish lipstick and unlike most of the long staying ones I have tried it glides on smoothly, has intense pigmentation and only one swipe gives opaque coverage to the lips. Scoring high on the pigmentation department ,it fails to impress on the formula though. These will stick to the dry flaky bits so you really need to have exfoliated lips prior to the application.. Though I have not experienced any drastic dryness but it is not so comfortable either. I love matte lipsticks due to their ability to cast an elegant spell on lips. I loveee the formula though it is not as good as the Chambor Powder matte ones. It has a slight tug and stickiness common to many long stay lippies .It stayed on me for 6-7 hours easily had I not removed it with a remover. The formula is not transfer proof. It gets transferred on cups , glasses etc. but would survive light meals. I have not tested it for 14 hours so cannot really comment on that claim. After a few hours I have seen this settling into fine lines with a little bit of patchiness.

Comment : I’d call the product a hybrid formula that’s a cross between a lip balm or butter and a lipstick. It has the pigment of a lipstick and the texture of a beautifully butter balm. I was very impressed with the pigment on all five of the twenty two shades that NYX Cosmetics offers in this formula. Every single shade applied opaque without being sheer or light in color. For a lip balm style formula these wore on for a solid four hours and faded a bit into hour five. The glide on lips beautifully without tugging or skipping. I felt like I was applying my favorite lip balm but with a better formula. Truly “butter” is an excellent way to put it as they have a buttery feel on lips with a moist finish. They are hydrating but not incredibly so…! Through the wear my lips never felt tight or dried out so they did supply fairly decent moisture. They have no taste or fragrance.

Comment : I so desperately wanted to purchase this product for a long time that specially went to Select City Walk, Saket for this only. The SA asked me whether I want a patch test or full application. I went for full one so that I can test it for 1-2 hours before purchasing. She applied Deep shade on me and that matched perfectly. My husband said that it created a lot of difference ? (he showed a lot of patience that day, took me to saket from rohini only for that. I respect and love him a lot for that). checked the shade in natural light and it was perfect for me, indoors too, it was good. After, say, 2 hours or so, my T-zone was getting somewhat oily but I can’t complain as I have very very oily skin. Tons of oil produced daily. The foundation was intact. It’s transferable but doesn’t go away, it stays. Very very effective. Hides and conceals all blemishes and provides fullest coverage. That’s what I wanted. Fully satisfied. Doubles up as a foundation and concealer, although I don’t have much of dark circles, but I am sure it would work. Hides acne marks really well. A very small amount is required so this will last long (as the price is a bit high so I wanted this). MAC is definitely very good but doesn’t work for my oily skin the way this one is. I am loving it. I have now well understood that I need to touch up with loose powder but atleast, EL Max Cover allows me not to do touch ups before 3-4 hrs and that too these days, full humid season. I know I will love this more in the coming months when humidity will subside. But, it’s best for this weather too. Definitely my Holy Grail. One more thing – after purchasing this, I went to Lancome counter too to try Teint Miracle. But there, the SA told me to try Teint Idole Ultra for oily skin. He also offered to do full application ???? . I was ready obviously. What made me happier was that he had a hard time removing my EL foundation. He asked me what I had on my face and said that it really is very stable and non-removable.

Comment : There are about 18-20 shades available. From bright pinks to corals to fuchsias to nudes to reds to maroons to browns to berry shades. I picked up 3 shades – shade no. 11, 17 and 20. These matte glosses do not have any names to them, rather they are just given numbers from 1-20 respectively which is from the paler pinkey shade to the darkest shade. PAC Retro Matte Gloss comes in transparent plastic tube, with a black screw cap. And the shade number is mentioned at the bottom of the tube. This Matte gloss comes with a doe foot applicator. This packaging is very sturdy and travel friendly. And BTW Wet n Wild released their liquid lipsticks during the same time and surprisingly both PAC and Wet n Wild have exactly similar packaging.TEXTURE/FORMULA – It’s got the right texture of a liquid lipstick. Not too runny as a liquid nor too thick like a cream based lipstick. They glide on the lips very smoothly and evenly. The doe foot applicator reaches the sharp edges perfectly without any hassle. COVERAGE – The shades I own are mostly towards the darker shades and hence a single swipe/layer is enough for a neat opaque finish. Maybe the lighter shades need a double layer on dark/pigmented lips. And it takes no time to set to a complete matte. And OMG these bad boys have got an amazing formula. I mean how are they so perfect?!! Once set to matte, these do not budge, they don’t fade, they don’t smudge/crease, they don’t crumble at all. The only con that i find is that these liquid lipsticks are too drying. But, i heard that if paired with their lip-primer they work well. STAYING POWER – Okay now, when I said that they don’t smudge , they don’t move apart, they don’t crumble and blah blah, it is so obvious that they have a long staying power. Yes, these do stay up for more that 7-8 hours. And the fading from the inner rim is obvious from the oily food with any kind of lipstick, but it is not that significant.

Comment : They’re insanely pigmented and smooth, and the color payoff is brilliant. You barely need to tap your brush on one of them to get this level of pigment, and because they are so pigmented, you don’t need to put a lot of product on your face. It’s not like you have to cake these blushes onto your face or do a ton of layering to get true-to-pan color. And the sheen? SO beautiful, and so, so perfect for this time of the year. Well, who are we kidding? These work any time of year, but I do like to go crazier with glow and shimmer in the warmer months. I could go on and on about these blushes! But I won’t. I’ll just give you the details… There are six shades, so if you’re into shimmering or luminous blushes, you should be able to find one that works for you. I have a hard time picking a favorite, so maybe you guys can help!Bottom line, these are all INCREDIBLE. I think that if you like shimmering blushes, or if you’re a blush person at all, then you DEFINITELY need one of these in your collection because they are stunning and phenomenal quality. In all of these pictures, I used a very light hand and got great color payoff, so if you see one of these you like, get it for the formula! You’ll want to wear it every single day.

Comment : Packaging: A standard black compact packaging similar to the Studio fix one, minus the compartment for the sponge applicator. The lettering on the compact is Bronze – (refer pics) – so it’s easy to identify it as against the Studio Fix powder – if lying together. The compact comes with a mirror but no applicator. Packaging is typical MAC – black and minimalistic; but Sturdy and smudge-proof. Color: It’s a tad difficult to describe the colour – after all it’s a bronzing powder – its brown! Ok – let me qualify that statement by adding what colour it isn’t – it isn’t peach toned or orange toned or red toned – all of which look very weird when used for contouring – because they don’t look natural and can make the skin look dirty/muddy, rather than create the shadows of contouring. The color is a dirty brown – slightly grey tinged – which is perfect for contouring. Matte bronze is obviously matte – I specify this because under the product description on the website, you see the product being referred to as “slightly frosted”. I presume that refers to the other 3 shades. Texture: The texture is very finely milled and smooth but extremely difficult to get off on the brush or even finger. It just doesn’t budge!!! Initially, when I tried it, I wasn’t getting the feel as if I had used a contouring powder – that’s because the product would barely come off on the brush – no amount of swipes helped. I would have thought that maybe it was a problem with my piece rather than the product itself – however, I remembered later that while trying it in store also, I couldn’t really see the contour and the makeup artist kept telling me to use more product. If it doesn’t get picked by the brush – how do I use more product! Finely I figured the only way to use it….I lightly shave the surface with my nail (clean ofcourse) to erode the powder (refer pics) and then swipe my brush on the powder. That’s the only way it works!

Comment : MAC single eyeshadows biggest benefit is you can get all colors of choice. Not like a pallete where you dont touch few colors ever. They are a little on a pricier side. But worth the money. They are insanely pigmented. Highly buildable and blendable. It lasts for good 6-7 hours. But I did use eye primer before applying it. They come in standard MAC black packaging. Though you can get mono eyeshadows now at affordable brands like PAC.

Comment : The beautiful wand that keeps thick straight lashes curled all day. This is Chanel‘s “Inimitable Waterproof” Mascara.I love this a little more too because the wand helped coat every lash. The black is intense and you can coat it several times without it clumping. This is one of those mascaras where you can really see the difference between the before and after photos; not all mascaras represent themselves well, but this is one that definitely does. My bare lashes look like a big ol’ tangled mess of short, sparse lashes. With a single coat of Inimitable Intense, my lashes look fuller, much, much longer, and a little thicker. This mascara does lengthening best, but it does thicken and add an illusion of more voluminous lashes, too. Often, I find multi-tasking mascaras rarely deliver on all the claims they make, but Chanel does a particularly noteworthy job of meeting their claims. The mascara is not overly wet, though the black is so intense it can look wet when on, but it’s not dry either, so it doesn’t flake when you apply it nor does it take too long to dry. I’ve been wearing it on and off for the past two weeks or so, and I haven’t had any issues with smudging, flaking, or the like even with all day wear (twelve or more hours). I found it held a curl quite nicely, though I think my lashes are on the “lighter” side so they take to curling better than the average set of lashes (because holding a curl has never been a major issue for me with mascara). It does a nice job of keeping lashes separated and clump-free with the first two coats, but if you start getting greedy and going for a third or fourth coat, you may get some clumping. I’ve also noticed that on occasion there is too much product on the wand, and then I will have a touch of clumping from the get-go. Inimitable Intense actually adds quite a bit with just one coat that I don’t find myself going for a full second coat.

Comment : The kit comes with 3 nail polishes of 5ml each! The colors included in the kit are subtle and perfect. The base color is milky, pale pink shade that looks really good on my nails and does not wash out my skintone! It is perfect for Indian skin tones. I need at least 2 layers of nail polish to get the color of my choice! After the base polish is completely dry, the next shade to use is White as french tip. It is matte white and looks absolutely stunning on pink base. It is quite pigmented and gives true color in just a single coat. The last step is to seal everything with a top coat. The top coat delivers a gorgeous shine to my nails and makes them look healthy and attractive. I like the idea of this compact kit and a French manicure does give that polished, clean look to the hands. I think the quality and wear of these polishes is good but could be better, especially considering the price. Because the quantity provided is not much and the quality isn’t phenomenal, I think these are a little overpriced at Rs 500.

Subject : I love this highlighter
Comment : It applies beautifully, a little bit goes a long way as it is very pigmented. Like the Mary Lou-manizer highlight, it is very buttery but has a little less shine as compared, it looks shimmery in the pan and swatches so too but when applied to the skin it isn't all all, it just leaves a nice glow that I like to use as a contour. It also pairs very well with the Mary Lou-manizer, creating an extremely healthy glowing finish. I want to say that its buttery texture and the shade reminds me of Jeffree Star's King Tut skin frost but Betty Lou-Manizer does not leave a high shine as it works better as a bronze but it is much more blendable and resilient throughout the day compared to Skin Frost which becomes patchy and uneven on my oily skin. Even so, I feel that it could work as a highlight on darker skin tones

Comment : The texture was lightweight, silky, and smooth to the touch, though it felt thinner than many of theBalm’s other cheek products. It had good color payoff that could be easily worn sheer or at richer, true-to-pan color. The finish is extraordinary, as it looks beautiful on the skin with a natural-level luminosity that gives the skin a real glow but doesn’t look frosted, so it doesn’t emphasize pores or the skin’s natural texture. The silky texture made blending a cinch, and I felt like I barely had to do any work to apply it evenly. On me, the product stayed on well for nine hours before fading slightly.

Comment : What I really liked about BalmShelter was its very creamy consistency; it was thick without being goopy and spread really well and evenly. It definitely felt like a lotion, which made it even easier to blend and cover my face during application. It comes in a squeeez tube, and there is no problem getting just what you need out. I wasn’t as keen on its ability to hydrate, though; it was decent but I felt like I needed to layer moisturizer underneath. I couldn’t just use BalmShelter in lieu of a moisturizer. For oilier skin types, it may be enough, but for my normal-to-dry skin type, it wasn’t quite enough. It wears for six to eight hours before I notice it has sheered out in some places (like my t-zone).

Subject : Ditch falsies and try this
Comment : This mascara is by far the best from maybelline. It curls up even the tinniest lash and adds volume as well. The Falsies DUO comes with 2 brushes. One dense, helixed brush for the upper lashes to induce volume and flair and another thin straight brush for the lower lashes to lengthen and seperate. I find the lower lashes brush wand to be the one i get most use out of because i prefer length to volume. It’s difficult to come accross these ones in the drugstore brands. The brush intended for the upper lashes is nothing too special, just a regular dense, thick mascara wand. The one huge plus to it is because of the helix that runs through, your eye lashes don’t get clumpy as long as you work with the formula while it’s wet, and your eye lashes tend not to droop like they would with a straight wand. I’m pretty sure the formula remains the same for both of the separate tubes. It’s very quick drying and so, doesn’t transfer to the lids. It’s volumising, darkening (as in Jet-Black), and not flakey like the maybelline hypercurl mascara. But the one downside is that it clumps from the second coat on, unless the consecutive applications are done one after the other before the formula entirely dries. Definately buildable to the “Falsies” potential, but you’d have to work to get there, and brush through with a dry , clean mascara wand to separate the lashes out if they’re clumped. The Maybelline Flasies Big eyes DUO retails in india at Rs. 599 for 8.7 ml, which is standard for maybelline’s range of mascaras. CONS-- It is not very build-able, if you go over-board it will make your lashes look spidery. You need to use a good eye makeup remover to remove this mascara. If you have thick, long and fuller lashes and you are looking for some dramatic, voluminous mascara then it might disappoint you.

Comment : Our indian market lacks in good eyebrow products so this product might fill that lack. Your eyemakeup is incomplete unless you fill your brows. Maybelline Brow Duo Shaper is available in 2 shades in India: Brown & Grey The pencil does feel a bit dry but I prefer this texture as creamy eyebrow pencils only stick to the hair and look so stark. The pigmentation is sheer making it perfect for beginners as I know the major issue I always used to face with filling in my brows was going too overboard. I always prefer building it up as I go rather than using a highly pigmented product for my brows. The pencil is hard which makes it easy to work with and simplifies application. The pencil is used to just outline the eyebrows while filling part is taken care of by the powder and sponge applicator. The powder is soft, velvety, and gives matte finish. The sponge applicator evenly spreads the powder throughout the shape of the brows. If I talk about the staying power, it stays all day without any fading. It is not waterproof so you have to keep your distance from water otherwise it will all come down on the cheeks. But the good thing is it can be easily removed using regular cleanser, and you do not necessarily require face cleanser. There are only two things negative First its not waterproof and second shades available are only 2.

Comment : Maybelline Diamond Glow Quad Eye Shadow come in a nice sleek packaging. It contain 4 eye shadows and Copper Brown is the neutral palette in Maybelline Diamond Glow Quad Eye Shadow range. It has the eye shadows arranged in a line in Arrow shaped pans with the highlighter shade occupying the quiet big pan than others. The top cover is plastic as well as transparent which makes identification easily if you have more than one pallet. This palette comes along with a dual sided sponge applicator which has a wide flat end with a narrow end. This applicator is good for the applying the inner corner eye makeup. I like the fact that the packaging is really sleek, slim, its very handy to carry while traveling. These 4 eye shadows has a soft and smooth texture but also note that they are powdery so you need excess of eye shadow to apply. Mainly 2 lighter shades were more powdery than the other darker 2. They are ok type of pigmented and hence look so softer on the eyes. Soft, powdery texture makes them blend very easily. Primer is must for this eye shadow which will help the to show up well. It stays on my eye lids for almost for a 4 hours. After few hours of application I noticed creasing. I do need a base for them since they are so soft and light, these would last for three to four hours in my opinion with base considering how light they are they are bound to be ruined by oily lids. All the shades feel very light colored and even the darkest one in brown has to be packed on. There is no fall out because they feel very light textured. The shimmer is very light in the shades that have them. They do feel velvety but you need a lot of the shadow to show up and hence I think the quantity is also not so great on these.I am not happy with the price hike to 450 rupees for these. These are very soft and light and little whitish and the pigment is not concentrated enough to cost me 450 rupees.

Comment : Maybelline Dream Matte Pressed Powder costs Rs. 475 for 9 gm of products. The powder is extremely finely milled and pressed together. It has soft and silky texture which blends like a dream. It does not give much coverage, but is perfect if you don’t want to use foundation and just want to give your skin a fresh and polished look. If you have a lot of blemishes and acne, this will not cover them at all.I have noticed the finish looks much better in day light than in night time. There is no SPF, but it imparts a white cast in flash photography, hence its not advisable to use this dream matte powder for night time events where you are going to get clicked. The coverage is sheer and light! The shade “light 4-5” suits my skin really well unless I am tanned. Even when I am, the sheer coverage doesn’t make it look too obvious and it works fine! The range has 3 shades, so you will easily find one for yourself. Even if you pick one shade that is slightly lighter or darker than your skin tone it wouldn’t make much of a difference. Cons- It do not have any SPF. The puff gets worn off within few uses.
Eyes
Subject : Nice product- Shade black
Comment : the texture is thin but not at all heavy on eyes. It glides easily on lids and never made me uncomfortable. This liner doesn’t tend to dry very quickly in the container but it doesn’t take much time to get dried when I apply this on my eye lid. This is definitely a plus point! The shade Black is deep shade of black but not the deepest black I have ever seen! But the opacity is less so I need to draw 2-3 times to get opaque black line. The applicator helps to draw thin as well as thick lines very easily and quickly and the finish is glossy. I somehow prefer my liner to be matte and darker but for those who love glossy finish this is perfect for them. As the finish is glossy it catches light and reduces the intensity of black! I wouldn’t complaint as they claim it to be glossy. So this is designed for gloss lovers and let me tell you this is perfect in day light. But somehow it loses it glam in night as artificial lights make it less intense. The liner is totally smudge proof. I have rubbed my eyes a number of times after applying this eyeliner and it has never smudged. It stays on my lids for 7-8 hours, without any fading. The eyeliner is not waterproof and gets removed easily with a makeup remover. The price is INR 275 which is in budget

Comment : Price is 399. It is quite cheap and affordable. It has a cute girly pink and yellow packaging. It has a curvy wand which is made of plastic. The combination of the bristles is ok, not as good as their Falsies, though. This is because there are few odd bristles here and there on the wand. Overall, the applicator works smoothly and covers each and every lash. The wand looks similar to the Falsies but the formula is quite different. The consistency of this mascara is neither too thick nor runny. It is almost a medium creamy consistency but a little on the thicker side. It glides smoothly on the lashes but after few coats it clumps a little and it dries out quickly on the lashes. So, it needs to be applied very quickly. It doesn’t look patchy after application. I wore it on my curled lashes however I was really disappointed that it didn’t hold my curls well. My lashes became quite flat after 15-20 minutes. This did define the lashes and made them look more black and volumised. the mascara is waterproof and stays put for almost an entire day which is pretty great. To remove this mascara, I needed a lot of patience. This does not come off easily. You need to have a good quality makeup remover.

Subject : Shade-05
Comment : The texture is creamy and pigmentation is sheer. It blends very easily onto the skin to give a dewy finish. The shimmer is non-gritty and does not look overdone unless you really apply too much product, in that case you will find it accentuating the pores. It did make my skin slightly oily after about 4-5 hours of wear but nothing that cannot be taken care of with a dab of tissue/compact. The staying power is good, somewhere around 8 hours over foundation. It begins to fade a bit about 6 hours of wear but even after 8 hours, I can still see the color on my cheeks. The shade 05 : It’s a peachy pink shade – really sheer and natural which gives a soft barely-there flush to the face. I quite like how it brings glow to my face. It would go well with almost all lipsticks. I would recommend this to fair/medium skin tones.

Subject : Nice formula
Comment : Definitely my favourite foundation for my oily skin. This foundation will stay matte for around 6 hours before I need to touch up and never looks cakey on me like many other foundations do, although it does sink into pores so a pore filling primer is reccomended with this foundation. I'd say it's a medium coverage and buildable in areas that need a bit more coverage. This foundation does oxidise a bit after application so I usually buy a slightly lighter shade. This foundation has never separated or wore off and I can get 10+ hours wear out of this foundation definitely worth it for the cheap price tag.

Subject : Deep red 06
Comment : We all love red. And its a everyday colour for us. Be it a traditional costume or casual wear red never goes wrong. So few months back I picked up this lively red shade from @maybelline. Shade name is 06 Deep Red. This is the most beautiful, glamorous, bright and bold red. It instantly makes nails lively. And everyone will definitely notice the color. Perfect for bridal wear as well. This is an all-rounder shade which you can wear for any occasion or on any outfit too. The consistency is thick but it is very smooth on the nails but you need to be careful and not keep the cap open for long while application. Also, we need to keep the fan off while applying these; else they might dry up completely. The color is opaque and bright in 2 full coats. The staying power is good 5-6 days if not 7 days. The color chips off of you apply one coat and do water work. They come in glass bottles which look very classy with see-through packaging. It becomes really easy to spot the colours. They have a wide variety of shades to choose from, ranging from sober shades to bright ones and then bold and super dark ones. Price is INR 325 Available on maybelline counters and leading online portals.

Comment : Its quite creamy and mousse like..more like a tinted moisturising cream. It blends very easily and sinks into your skin..and settles to match with your skin tone..it has a good amount of silicones..so has a velvety finish and is smooth to touch and acts as a primer too..and reduces the appearance of lines and pores a little. Gives a matte finish. The coverage is sheer..quite light..it does not cover scars or acne spots..and you surely need a concealer over it..if you have a flawless face and just need some evenness..this would be a good foundation for your everyday use..this mousse foundation is oil –free . It does not have any fragrance; this was one of the reasons I had to buy it. I have even tried it during hot and humid climates and my skin feels fresh and this product feels water-resistant too. The price is INR 650 for 25 gms which is quite expensive. It comes in a round tub and can be applied with the help of fingers. It gives a sheer to medium coverage without leaving a white cast. It does not settle into fine lines and doesn’t look cake-y at all.
Face
Subject : Shade vanilla creme
Comment : The formula is creamy, whippy and a entire face and goes on smoothly without settling into fine lines. Blends quite well into the skin without leaving white cast behind and gives a beautiful matte finish. The product is enriched with antioxidants and SPF 20 so it is great for everyday use without having to worry about daily use of foundations and concealers. It gives you near flawless coverage. It does not make the skin appear cakey or blotchy; however it dries quickly so you have to be quick with blending. I use my fingers to push the product into the skin. Formula is non greasy, matte and feels comfortable on my oily to combination acne prone skin but for my dry skin ladies I would suggest to use a good moisturizer beneath. I have been using it for quite a long time now and I haven’t faced any breakouts with it.The BB cream comes in a sleek tan plastic tube with a silver screw cap. The overall packaging is very travel friendly but I’d have liked it more if the tube were thinner. The consistency of the cream is quite thin. The wear time is quite good though my skin isn’t very oily in winters so I’m not sure if it’ll work the same in summers as well. I don’t need any touch ups for a good 4-5 hours after application. It doesn’t make my skin greasy and it doesn’t dehydrate it either. It doesn’t break down with the natural oils of my skin, nor does it sit in the pores. It just evens out my skin beautifully. Price os INR 550. Which is quite in budget.

Subject : average- shade glamour
Comment : The price is INR 425 for 2.2 ml which makes it quite expensive. Radiant Glow Face Illuminator Pen is in the form of a ball point pen which releases the fluid when tapped slightly. A soft bristle replaces the nip of the pen which can be directly applied to the face.It has thin creamy texture almost runny which gets applied with utter ease. It just melts into the skin and doesn’t feel heavy or creamy. Pen requires multiple clicks for first time usage as it takes time for the liquid to come down to bristles but after that 2-3 clicks (or more depending on the amount required) will be enough for single application When directly applied with the brush it looks slightly streaky so either follow with a brush or finger tips to smoothen out the application. The negative part is you have to keep pen always in upside down position or else it will not come out easily. Second if u blend it a lot using fingers then it will vanish. Otherwise the staying power is good. And it does not get transfers also.

Comment : I have already tried revlon photoready range and was qyite excited to try this balm. The word anti shine attracted me since I have ouly skin. So this balm is multi purpose and can be used alone or under makeup. It comes with a sponge applicator which is enough to use the product properly. But make sure tou wash it regularly because after few uses it tend to become greasy. It's fairly light and coverage is good. Covers/absorbs shine easily, smooths the surface and keeps your skin looking matte throughout the day. Though I never wore ot alone because I do have few acne spots and I need to cover them.

Subject : Shade classy coral 010
Comment : Lets talk about the shade first. Its a beautiful peach shade. It looks amazing on indian skin tone. It gives a natural flush to the cheeks. It comes with a nice black packaging. It has applicator inside which you may or may not use. It also has a half size mirror which comes handy. Coming to the texture. I really did not like it. Its veryyy powdery. It falls out a lot. And the color pay off is very less. The pigmentation is very very poor. You really need to work hard to get color. It is actually not coral but peach. Thats why i like this shade. Since I have fair to medium skin so I quite like it. Its matte with little sheen. On oily skin it will turn out matte but with 5 swipes atleast.

Comment : As the name suggests these are the cream blush by revlon. They come in small pots. I would say that I find this very unhygenic since you have to dip your finger again and again in pot to apply product and you cant ignore it because creme blush are best applied with fingers. But this helps in bacteria growth. So packaging is huge no for me. The texture is creamy and they leave a natural flush upon application. The color is lightweight with a pretty, pinched finish. They give a semi matte look and glide on easily. They are not highly pigmented so you have to build for like 3 layers for color to be visible. The wear time is quite short. Only 2-3 hours.

Comment : The concealer was launched along with age defying foundation and I bought both together and used together. It contains liqorice root extracts. May be its meant to correct dark spots. But I have not used it for such long ime that it could ahow visible results. My under eye area hardly required any concealing so i used it for entire face. I find it great. Its highly bleandable. And gives a satiny finish. If u have less problamatic skin like I used to have those days it will be a great concealer. But if u have hyper pigmentation or acne scarring then this is not for u!! Maybelline age rewind concealer is a great replacement for this.

Subject : Shade aphrodisiac
Comment : I love colorpop products. They are super pigmented and very affordable. I am a blush hoarder and when colorpop launched blushes I have to grab them. The price is lesser than drugstore brand and pay off is more than luxury brand. These blushes have the same creamy cushion texture as the eyeshadows, but in a larger pan. The blush give you a nice stain and stay on for long ling time. It is very easy to take them off. Shades are very blemdable. Aphrodisiac shade is perfect for contour. Blushes are highly pigmented but not opaque which gives a natural finish. I live it totally!!

Comment : Lovely range of shades. It has a beautiful formula that does not settles in fine lines. The texture is light weight. The staying power is also long. Around 6-7 hours. It does not dry out the lips. The finish is matte and non transferrable.i love these lippies. I use lip bakm before application

Subject : average lippie
Comment : i have seen many bloggers boasting about the colorpop lippie stix. I found this much hyped. luckily I bought just one lippie stick in shade Lumiere. the color was very nice. But formula was very average. i found the packaging very cute. But now it looks very torn out. the staying power is very average ans it transfers a lot. it could not survive a meal as well I am definitely not going to but it again. As much as I love colorpop eyeshadows I did not like the lippie stick. there matte liquid llipsticks are my favourite.

Subject : One of the best anti acne pack
Comment : ???????????????????????????????????????????????? Kama Ayurveda’s Anti Acne Face Pack is an effective mix of Vetiver, Ashwagandha, Red Sandalwood, Coriander, Lodhra and Liquorice. The pack works as a treatment for acne, pimples and helps to reduce scars and dark circles. Ashwagandha decreases inflammation and prevents ageing. Red Sandalwood brightens the skins complexion. The antibacterial properties of coriander seeds acts as effective treatment for blackheads and prevents hyperpigmentation. ( Source - Mentioned on packaging box) . . ???????????????????????????????????????????????? BENEFITS ???????????????????????????????????????????????? . . ????Treatment of pimples ????Reduces dark circle ????Anti ageing ????Reduces scarring . . ???????????????????????????????????????????????? MY EXPERIENCE ???????????????????????????????????????????????? . . I loved the fact that it is free from all chemicals and petro products. The powder is reddish brown in color. It smells quite natural like fresh mud in rains. I use @kamaayurveda pure rosewater to mix it. I find it to be the purest form of rose water. Upon application it feels very light with no irritation. It dries up pretty soon. The best part is removing the pack. Its very easy to wash it. It does not stick on face and comes off with little water only. The complexion looks bright and radiant instantly. It does reduce the redness and size of pimples. I don't have dark circles so couldn't say anything about it. It retails INR 885 for 40 gms. It is quite expensive but I think I will get it owing to my current problematic skin.
Sunscreen
Subject : Best sunscreen
Comment : As a skincare junkie I always search for better products. Sunscreens are must all year long but then I dont like they whitish cast they leave on fave. Then I found this one. This is by far the best sunscreen I had used. The product is white in color with a thick, creamy texture. Apparently, the consistency may seem to be too heavy for the skin as most of the similar products are found to be runny. But it is actually not like that. It is absorbed by the skin after a little massage and doesn’t feel heavy at all. It suits my oily skin very well and I was quite surprised to see how well it moisturizes my face! There is a very light floral fragrance, which fades away within 15 to 30 minutes of application. The dry-touch feature of the company is true to some extent. Well, I’m not saying that this sunblock makes my skin oily or greasy. It definitely gives a clean feel without a shiny look. In fact, I like the fact that it doesn’t leave a whitish cast like most other sunblocks available in the market. It does not dive that perfect matte look. Rather, it offers a dewy appearance with clean, non-shiny finish and I totally love it. The sun protection claim of Neutrogens Ultra sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock is completely true. Earlier, my skin used to tan a lot. But I’ve not experienced sun tanning or burning once I started using it. SPF 50+ is just perfect for Indian summers. In addition, it offers both UVA and UVB protections, which are added bonus. It is waterproof and sweatproof as claimed by the company. No matter how long I remain outside, it doesn’t make my skin sweaty or sticky. And yes, there is no need of applying it again and again.

Subject : Best sunscreen for oily skin
Comment : There are countless sunscreens available in market and give us a tough time in making choice. People like me with oily/combination skin have to choose right product to avoid break outs as most of them are oily/sweaty. I also dont like the white cast they leave. No matter how many sun blocks I try I don't miss my favourite @lotus_herbals matte gel UV Screen with SPF 50. . ABOUT THE PRODUCT . Its a colorless gel. You can add it to your foundation without changing its color. Its highly blendable. And gives a lovely dewy finish. It has a high SPF and protects from both UVA and UVB rays. . MY EXPERIENCE . I love the lovely fragrance and the tube packaging. A little product goes a long way and one tube lasts long. It keeps the skin sweat free. Even if you apply sunscreens you will get a little tan because no sunscreen can avoid it. But it will protect you from harmful effects of sun rays and will avoid damage to skin. . Comment : I have used many BB creams. But this one is my least favourite . The color was looking yellowish on my skin. It gives very little coverage. Not possible for people who have problem skin. It also makes my skin sticky kind of. So I think it is not apt for people with oily or combination skin. But yes , it will be good for people who want a natural dewy look. For me I got acne/ pimples as well. I have not even used the tube completely and discarded it. Ponds is better than this. And maybelline BB cream ia best.

Comment : I have a oily skin. And I tend to get pimples during humid summers. I cant think of stepping out of my home without some wipes. Though there are many wipes available in the market. But my favourite are thE Body Shop Tea Tree Cleansing wipes. Tea Tree is anti bacterial and works really well on acne prone skin. It purifies the skin. During the humid weather the skin gets super oily and attracts impurities and dirt to stick on it leading to pimpes, blackheads etc. Tea Tree wipes helps a lot in cleaning my skin on the go. A must buy this summer.
