People Say, coffee addiction is no less than an addiction for alcohol. I used to intake around 17 cups a day. Now, although drastically reduced- I happened to taste this instant coffee at my relative's house.
Well, being a South Indian, I always like the traditional filer degree coffee..
The aroma of this coffee definitely drags you towards tasting it at least once. It is a great flavour- I feel the chicory is little less and hence gives a different taste than he traditional fliter coffee. Keenly, I asked to see the packet of coffee, my relative came out with this bottle- I so loved the shape of the bottle- yes, I can reuse was my first thought- the texture of the coffee is super smooth - it is not at an affordable price though. The whole packing may have taken the extra bucks- Definable value for money,
As I developed my taste for coffee, I also started discussing it more with people I knew. A name that commonly came up as a brilliant brand was that of Davidoff. So i finally made up my mind to give it a try since it seemed like all the rage.
When I went to pick up the coffee, I found that it is much more expensive than the general Nescafe or Bru that we Indians usually use. Being placed as a premium brand, you expect it to be priced slightly higher than regular brands but not as much as this.
I got he variant to try and instantly noticed that the granules for this coffee are much thicker than instant coffee from other brands. The usual method of making this coffee wouldn't work out well. So I tried to crush it and make a coffee paste as is done when not using instant coffee & then made it. The coffee was strong and tasted fine but I didn't find it as exceptional as everyone had made it out to be. You could also try using it for a black coffee brew as that brings out the flavour much better.
All in all, I wouldn't buy it again but it isnt a bad coffee to have.

I decided to give the satchets a try before I bought the bottle, the first I noticed was that unlike most other instant coffee's, this coffee had chunkier grandules. In India we do this thing where we beat a mixture of instant coffee and sugar with a few drops of water till it foams into a thick paste, to which milk is added and voila, 'desi' cappuccino. That does not happen with these granules. I added one satchet to a cup (by measurement) of milk and I was not impressed by the scent and color as I could smell the milk and sugar but not the coffee. So I added another satchet and filled up my mug with milk but I was still not satified by the color or the smell, so I finally added a third satchet when the color looked a decent brown for my liking and I was getting a hint of the coffee smell. So in total I put some three teaspoons of coffee in my mug before taking a sip. Turned out the coffee tasted way stronger than it looked or smelled. I barely even drink instant as I prefer the brewed stuff, so I will continue with my Nescafe Classic if I require some instant coffee.
The first time I tried this coffee, I was in the highest part of heaven. It was funny how I hadn’t bought it. I was actually at my best friend’s place when he made me try it. I fell in love instantly.
The deep, strong flavour; almost earthy. It reminded of my favourite Italian roast coffee at Starbucks.
But since then I’ve bought 3 of these back to back. The whole bottle lasted me a total of a month. That’s because I drink 3 cups a day. But if you drink only one cup, it’ll lasted longer.
If you haven’t tried this, you haven’t tried real coffee.
It tastes better without milk. That’s how I like it.
I’d definitely recommend it to everyone. The only thing I’d change would be its price, so that everybody could enjoy it.
It is a little on the splurge side, but it was worth every sip of it.
Lovely coffee brand with great quality coffee and irresistible Aroma. Tastes superb almost as if purchased from a cafe. It is a must try at least once. Has a really really strong flavour and gives you a caffeine rush to kick start your day. Must try and must buy. Do a little expensive from the contemporaries in the market but worth the extra price. Love it. Also just a fun fact coffee helps removing toxic substances from the body. Coffee also helps defy aging. So for no wrinkles drink coffee. All in all a good deal for the price if not the best.
Mornings are never complete without this coffee.. it keeps me fresh throughout the day. Totally recommend ????

It is expensive in India, but I really find it worth the price. Its smells great. And tastes good. I am a huge coffee fan...I instantly need coffee as soon as I wake up or my day goes by dull. It's a good enrrgiser in the morning to start your day. I have it everyday with breakfast. It does have a great aroma and fills my entire kitchen with the smell. It's a little more pricey in India. I am not exactly sure of its mrp because I get it online or abroad. But it's totally worth a try and be ready to fall in love with this product
