OMG you just can't get over the Mac lipsticks they are so amazing I can't even explain. Best lipsticks I have ever used and it's nontransferable and it's Matte finish I am having the Ruby Woo Mehr and Relentessly red. It's too pricey but it is worth it, you will never regret purchasing it. I love the packaging its texture and everything about it. and yes there are so many dupes available but I think they will just spoil your lips and please never use the dupes because they are made of chemicals so be very careful. Mac costmetics are sold only at stores and online it's Nykaa

Beauty Enthusiast Must-Have

M.A.C. was my first 'Grown up' buy! Like every beauty enthusiast, I went towards the lipsticks! They're probably on the pricier end but they're worth the hype (most of the time) and last a long while. The color payoff for me is one of the key points when I'm buying a product which M.A.C. delivers on. The packaging and scent of the product is standard -- which is a very comforting part of owning these lipsticks for me!
Dangerous (Retro Matte) is one of my favorite shades. It's a red-orange shade which is very flattering on Indian skin tones, which is quite hard to achieve. It has a great staying power and the color stays put!
Flat Out Fabulous (Retro Matte) is a beautiful purple-pink shade. It's a cool-toned shade that makes you're teeth look extremely white! It's an almost neon shade, which is flattering on warm skin tones, which is why it's one of my most favorite shades right now!
Brave Red (Cremesheen) is a warm red with muted yellow undertones. It's not a bright red which is very refreshing personally. I feel that this particular red works on any skin tone and it looks different on each person! Its's one of those versatile shades that you should own.
Girl About Town (Amplified) is a cool fuchsia which looks so sophisticated. Its creamy and opaque. Great color pay off and when it does wear off it leaves a pretty tint.
These are my all-time favourite buys from the brand. I keep going back to these shades even though I have a bunch of lipsticks from the brand!

Permanent lipsticks are worth trying!

MAC has lost its sheen now with so many other affordable brands up for grabs, but their permanent range of lipstick are totally worth the bucks. I have so many MAC lipsticks and I love all of them. It used to be a big deal to have a MAC lipstick in one's kitty few years back! I have tried various finishes but Matte, Retromatte & Amplified finishes are my favorite. Depending on the finish the lipstick will last anywhere between 5 - 7 hrs. on you including the type of food eat that day. It does transfer a bit and weans away with time but leaves a stunning even stain back. I personally love the shades Mehr, Chili, Craving, Ruby Woo, Relentlessly Red, Girl About Town, Diva, Dangerous, Crosswires, All Fired up from the brand.

very good

Using Mac lipstick was my dream 'coz i always wanted to know wat's different in this wen compared to other lipstick. So wen i brought my first Mac Lipstick in the shade 'PLEASE ME', i was very eager to share my review. the lipstick is matt finish in the pink shade, beautiful but extremely drying on my lips. Its bit better wen applied after moisturising with lipbalm. I apply just one coat and it Stays for around 2-3hrs. Might stay longer if applied double coat. Lipstick transfers and Has to be reapplied. Nothing much different for the hype it has and better options are available for this shade at a lot affordable price. bit on the pricier side (at Rs 1500) and is not organic or cruelty free also in case you r interested. But worth having one Mac lipstick in your vanity just for the Hype. But i would suggest some other shade and not this one.

Flat out fabulous,the perfect shade

I got the Mac lipstick in shade Flat out Fabulous. This is a pinkish shade, exactly described as a fuchsia plum shade. MAC Claims: Flat Out Fabulous is described as a “bright plum matte”.
It is a retro matte colour. This is a shade which suits all types of skin tone. It goes even in a bold dress tone as well as the light sweet dress tone. This shade instills the fresh look of an exact colour pout your lips want.
The texture is the typical retro matte of MAC – the most coveted matte formula in the world. Its light, non sticky and no it doesn’t really tug on dry lips and applies evenly and easily. The texture being retro matte, the color lasts on and on throughout the day and does not wear off completely till removed. The intensity of the shade can be built up though on swiping multiple times.
The pigmentation is mind boggling and a single light swipe- whoosh! Its enough to get the saturated color on your lips and cover up any sort of pigmentation.
Typical classic MAC packaging which is easy to carry!
? Typical retro matte texture for the matte lovers
? Light and feathery soft matte which does not accentuate fine lip lines or drag when applying
? Super gorgeous bright pink plum color which brightens up my complexion!
? Lasts through the day without wearing off completely.
? 1 swipe opaque pigmentation
? Delicious fragrance!
× Bit pricey Rs. 1500 as compared to other brands
× The stain last too long. Can't remove easily if a change is wanted

matte finish

I got this shade along with ‘Flat out Fabulous’- (totally in love with). As name says- Relentlessly – This is implacable and unstoppable red.gorgeous eye catching colour anyone can fall in love with. I have been googling Retro Matte shades quite a long time before they launched in india and to be frank the first colour catches my eyes is “Relentlessly Red” followed by “Flat Out Fabulous”. Six months back I never thought of getting MAC products as they are way to costly for me.The Colour – MAC describe it as “Bright Pinkish Coral Matte” with cool undertone. I feel it’s a bright colour mixed of Coral and Red with hint of Pink in it. I love coral lipsticks and matte textures, and this one is just perfect sit for both. Those who love coral and matte texture will definitely love it. It’s a pretty loud coral-red-pink shade which is not vampy but very wearable for those who like bold lips like me.
The Texture is Matte, alike other matte Lippies from the collection. But definitely less matte than ‘ Ruby Woo’. I tried this shade first time yesterday and very impressed with the matte texture, despite being matte your lips don’t dry up uncomfortably. Neither it flakes rudely. Stay put on me straight for 5 hours evenly without fading or flaking. It’s even survive meals too. Now that’s a brilliant formula MAC came up with Retro Collection. They are Strong , Bold and Loud colours with perfect undrying Matte texture stay put for long long time.. you might need to touch up after 5-6 hours but just a little.
The Pigmentation is awesome. Highly pigmented, opaque finish, One swipe and you are done. Beautifully covers pigmented lips without showing your actual lip colour. I am honestly very impressed with my latest buy- “Flat Out Fabulous” and “Relentlessly Red”. i apply lip balm before applying this lipstick so that we can prevent from dark lips.

moisturising lipstick

Mac is always what i wanted to buy, as it has such a big place in the glamour what!
I was very confused to choose a shade , as there were too many colors to choose from.
Finally , I brought Russian Red shade , The price : 150Rs.

The color is so pigmented that just one swipe is enough for the go !! It lasts for around 2-3 hours , one coat, with touch up 3-4 hours.
The lipstick is very moisturising , and did not make my lips go dry or cracking. It is little glossy .The lip stick is transferrable , as its a little glossy and moisturising!
The packaging on the other side is normal, nothing flashy or trendy .
Over all , i brought it and like it. But i would say its expensive and i could get much more for that price in other brands!

My babies

Soo far the luxurious product in my vanity is mac lipsticks.
During my visit to qatar i have purchased this two beautiful shades (Ruby woo & mehr) from duty free.
And ever since i am in love with them.
I am a big fan of Mac.
These lipsticks lasts for good five to seven hours.
They are super matt.
Just one stroke is enough to give a desire look.
It is highly pigmented.
And glides very smoothly.
Though they are over priced but one can afford it if they are big make up junkie just like me.
The best review i read about Mac lipstick is that if you cant afford all shades of mac...Ruby woo is a must buy.

Just what you'd expect from Mac !

I was a little careful to buy my first lipstick from Mac cz the price range is a little on the higher side which may not be affordable to all .But I'd great reviews from my friends who've used it in the past and are completely smittened by it. The shade I bought was Russian red which as a matte texture. The colour is definitely to die for ,for someone who loves wearing bold shades on her lips. Even though it was matte the lipstick didn't dry out my lips. It's not transferable and last for a good 4-6 hours before you feel the need for a touch up. Though I've heard some reviews claiming it dried their lips out . For that ,you can try to moisturize your lips with one swipe of chapstick and then applying the lipstick or you can dap a title moisturize foundation or lotion before applying this product . All in all its a product worth the bucks

I have two of these Mac lipstick one is mac all fired up and the other is mac ruby woo. When it comes to color no one can beat this lipstick and the staying power is up to 6 hrs its a complete matte lipstick . only drawback of this lipsticks is that they get dried too much giving chapped look to the lips this can be overcome by exfoliating the lips and applying the lip balm n wiping it off a tissue post that u can apply the lipstick. To me this lipstick gives an osom color which makes others look at u twice????

Which colour or shade did you buy?

How many hours does the lipstick last?

Finish: Super Matte, Matte, Glossy, Cremesheen, etc

It is transferrable?

Tell us if it is worth the price!

Any dupes?

Does it dry out your lips or get flaky after a while?

Do you like the packaging?
