#BudgetBuys: Top 5 Dry Shampoos under Rs 600 in India

Forget diamonds, dry shampoos are a woman’s best friends. Too lazy to wash off your hair in the freezing cold? Dry shampoo to the rescue. No time to hit the shower on a particularly late Monday morning? Just spritz some dry shampoo to lend some volume to hair and dash out the door. Humidity taking a toll on your good hair days? That’s right, dry shampoo is here to save the day. As someone with an extremely oily scalp, dry shampoos have come to occupy a permanent space on my dresser. Since I don’t wash my hair every day, on days that my hair could use some extra volume, I turn to dry shampoo. They are extremely convenient and get the job of sapping up excess oil from your hair done. If you too want give them a shot but don’t know quite where to begin, allow me to introduce some of the most affordable dry shampoos that are currently available in India:

Beauty Formulas Dry Shampoo

Beauty Formulas is a UK-based brand that is known for its affordable skincare and haircare products. Their dry shampoo is perfect for third day hair, as it claims to refresh and revitalise your hair while adding a little volume. For a mere 260 bucks for a 150ml can, this one is easily one of the most affordable dry shampoos that you can find in India. You can buy this online here.

P.S. NewU stores also stock Beauty Formulas products, so might want to check that out too.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Instant Hair Refresh

The cult favorite brand when it comes to dry shampoos, Batiste has acquired quite a massive following, and for good reason too, especially because their dry shampoos smell AMAZING! I have tried two of their variants and I swear by their Original one. The only con is that it makes your hair rather stiff by the end of the day, but on the plus side, it does not leave any white residue on my black hair, so you might want to keep that in mind. It retails for INR 299 for a 50ml bottle, here.

Innisfree Don’t Worry No-Sebum Dry Shampoo

Korean skincare has taken the world (and the internet) by the storm, and Korean haircare is no exception. Innisfree is a tried and tested brand, and while I am yet to try out their haircare range, this particular product, containing mint and a ‘no-sebum powder’, does seem promising. It is available for INR 400 for a 50ml can, here.

BBLUNT Back To Life Dry Shampoo

As far as I know, BBLUNT was one of the first Indian brands to launch a dry shampoo in the country, and I for one, am a complete sucker for their packaging. This product seems to be perfect for them post-workout sessions when your hair is sweaty and grimy. It offers a number of variants in terms of fragrance for you to choose from, and is available for INR 550 for a 125ml bottle here.

Prowomen Dry Shampoo

This one is again one of the most cost-effective options out there. It claims to absorb quickly into the hair, soak up the excess oils, and leave your hair with a little bit of volume as well. It is also suitable for all hair types so you are sorted on that front as well. It retails for INR 599 for a 195ml can here.

Hope you found this list helpful. And here is to #HappyHairDays.
